Everyone in crypto would have, at one point come across some sort of news that is against the adoption of cryptocurrency in some regions and community which will reduce the rate at which people will be aware of crypto and also adopt it.
How I believe we can overcome this hindrances is through proper events that will educate and inform the various local communities, both online and offline up until the leaders are well informed and there by endorsing and approving crypto in the future
If you know of events, meet-ups and activities that can promote crypto adoption in future, share in this thread so others can share with friends, then it forms a chain reaction. I am currently aware of $50k BGB for Blum community, if they know they can get incentives for tasks they will welcome it. How do you see this helping the community?

Bitcoin meetups are rare or do not occur on a weekly basis, you must search for the nearest one or travel to it

Adoption depends on the government's decision, and I think currently both the government and the population have no shortage of reference sources on the internet about crypto not necessarily through special conferences.
The problem is not about literacy, but openness. But I do not deny that the government must go through various considerations before legalizing something, especially if the crime rate in the country is quite high.

I agree and this is where online groups come in handy. There social media platforms with crypto communities that anyone (newbie) can join and learn from. From there, they could also set up local meet ups on weekends. It doesn't have to be fancy, just a regular coffee shop will do as a venue for the event.

If most of the members are beginners, they will mostly talk about investments and making profits, and the number will decrease with the first loss, because the majority love profit and fear loss. They can try something new, but they will stop with the first loss.

It is worth understanding that all such meetings are held only to promote their projects, no one is engaged in PR for the entire crypto because no one needs it. Everyone wants to make money, they advertise what they cannot make money on.

I believe that at some point in the past 6 years that I've been into cryptocurrency, I might've read some articles that are against cryptocurrency, but I've never read or see any article/s that are against the adoption of cryptocurrency it self.
Another thing is that, there might still be some who are against crypto, but imagine how many people are pro-Bitcoin right now? I mean even though there will be somebody that's even popular will say that he's against to adoption of crypto, it will backlash on him and instead, receive some criticisms. That's how huge the crypto-community is right now, and I expect it to grow as years go by.
PROPER events, and when we say proper, we mean events that aren't misleading the participants at all because I don't want it to happen, but there are some so-called gurus out there that are organizing events and seminars only to invite them to their own project or worse, scamming them. As the adoption increases, I believe that the number of intelligent investors will rise as well.

In the first place, crypto is about not having a middle man, a third party to begin with, so why we should involved government? And if we have noticed, a lot of countries are still in the middle of everything, they treat crypto as neither legal or illegal.
And that is good enough for us though, but there are crypto enthusiast who lives on the country that don't allow crypto and with that, adoption is very hard for them. But for those who are very lucky that our government are supportive, then we see events here and there to promote crypto and it's like every month or two you will here this kind of meetups.

Most of the crypto events organized by some crypto enthusiast in the US, Dubai, Indonesia Japan like, Bitcoin conferences, bitcoin expo, has helped to create awareness in this regions and I believe that similar events can also help to spread the adoptions to the local areas. Many people from different works of live gather on these conferences to share knowledge, ideas on trading, mining, investments, Jobs, Tranings etc.
On October 9-10 2024, there is going be a great event, a Bitcoin forum planned in Amsterdam on Bitcoin global future. I think all these events are meant to continue the spread of adoptions and awareness world wide.

Causevest hosts a meet-up in person everytime in London and online sometimes the name is Blockchains For Good Crypto Bootcamp and Investment Club. It is very nice.

Yes, crypto meet up are great, I am hoping that this type of events should be regularly organize to increase awareness. I have observed that many of these crypto meet up has actually been a win win for Bitcoin adoptions and a big venue to acquire more knowledge. Let embrace this crypto events or meet ups, you can always meet someone with a better knowledge to share ideas.
