Most things newbies fail to realize is the difference between a spam thread and a good constructive discussion thread, if you’re able to come to the local board or general board with one then your growth here won’t be difficult - as you’ll be able to get karma from it and activity as well as so just make sure you don’t spam the forum and also try to contribute to discussion you know something about or ask questions about it in the thread if you have any.
Welcome to the forum, by the way.

Everyone of us was once a newbie to this forum and it only took us a little time before we get used to the way the platform operates, there is nothing hard in here, we are only just a newbies and we need time and engagements to keep us busy in here before we starts getting used to the forum, patience is the key in this, we have to take time exploring the forum ourselves and read most of the threads and boards while getting used to it.

First you are welcome and there's nothing too difficulty in this forum for you not to understand what matters is consistency like be online read things and get updates than just signed up and logoff without showing much interest here, like I know you may not get the full understanding of what you are doing. Most people come online to just make friends and face little or not task after which they sign out and expect their system to keep posting for their account to grow overnight without them working tirelessly to increase their knowledge over here.

This forum is even overwhelming to some people who have some forum experience from Bitcoin talk. So if you are new to this forum with no forum experience, it is expected that you will find it difficult to understand what is going on here for the time being. It is only temporary and if you consistently come back to the forum to try to learn, with time you will become used to it and be able to achieve your objective. My advice to you as a newbie here is to take it easy on yourself to learn everything quickly and visit boards where you are comfortable.

There is nothing hard about this forum to learn, its just that we may have to wait while earning the learning process we have to put in place, starting anything from the beginning always looks hard but if we give it all that is required, then we are going to enjoy the best from it later on, my advise for everyone coming here newly as a newbie is to be patient, have the desire to learn and follow the rules and grow over the time.

OP seems not to be online for over 2 weeks plus and I am still wondering why OP started a thread and is not even bothered to come check for himself to see how the thread he created for his own inquiry is going on.
Come to talk of it, OP has not officially introduced himself as stated by Agbe. I think that should be the step forward so that members would get acquainted with OP here.

It was because of the Op of this thread, I created the introduction thread to know where is coming from but as you said, the guy just abandoned the thread and leave. From the way he spoke on the Op, I was suspecting that the guy is not a Nigerian but a passersby. And all these, we are also part of the caused because we no dey used Pidgin like dat and we use pure English in most time. There are some local boards you go enter and nobody go tell you, you go just left without comment even if they mentioned your name. Because you would not understand anything.

You creating an introduction thread was a nice move because members or our own country men would definitely do the needful if they come to our local board for orientation. Introducing yourself on our local board could give newbies the privilege to get acquainted with members already established here and that would help them scale through the platform without too much issues.
Wetin you talk about speaking of our pidgin no bad I but to be frank with you, no be everybody wey dey comfortable to dey always cap that way. Some people like freestyle on their own the way them like am and nothing personal about am and nothing person go fit do about am but at least too you don try talk am here make we follow put out heads together to see as our own nationals grow up for the platform likewise our own local board and our local language pidgin too.

We can definitely all take something out of situations like this as well. Although it is not realized, with new people, distances are created, due to language barriers or communication mostly. It is still possible to expand our contacts and increase discourse inclusiveness so that everyone who comes to the forum will feel comfortable and can actively contribute. Therefore, if we keep the language and our forums simple, and do not close the doors to anyone, people of all sides feel free to speak up their mind or story. If we all strive to embrace each other’s presence, the feeling of ‘togetherness’ will be much more meaningful .

In fact, this is the best time for us increasing our awareness on more inclusive language and relating more to one another as a country. It can become even more open for all people, regardless of their possible difficulties with communication if the forum will be created as an open and friendly place with clear language. This proves that general improvement of newly burgeoning members’ contribution in digital inclusion communities is possible with up to 30% increase due to the willingness of members who fear being misunderstood. If we keep the forum open and available to people, we gain more members for the site, but at the same time have a more tightly knitted community where every individual feels that they are important and have their say.
