Great news indeed most especially for SafePal users and this banking partnership can be a big boost for its business as this can be attracting more people to its side. I am actually also a user of SafePal though admittedly not as huge as with TrustWallet. Now, am thinking, when can we expect for TrustWallet to make the same move as that can be lovely and really good. At any rate, I am hoping that this banking service by SafePal will soon be avaialble worldwide and not be limited to some geaographic locations. I am also hoping that this partnership will last for years and not be killed by problems along the way.

It seems like it's only available for the EEA and Switzerland, according to the website. I'm not very optimistic that it will be available for other countries any time soon.
Also, I don't think I'd want to access this from a hardware wallet, or even from the same app that a device is also using for the hardware wallet, but from a separate device, for security reasons.

yes, but the point is that the creation of so many services piques the curiosity of people, who try and are pleasantly impressed
therefore they ask for more services
and therefore more services will be created, it is a good spiral that leads to having more and more companies and services in the sector!!

The idea of enabling users to exchange their crypto for fiat in an easy and simple way is probably as old as BTC, and regardless of the fact that it somehow diminishes the use of cryptocurrencies as a means of payment, it is something that users are looking for.
In the specific case, however, it should be emphasized that this is literally about opening a bank account that requires KYC (pass-port, the client must be at home and enable access to the location), in addition to the fact that each user must have a certain amount of ETH and USDC for the purpose of verification.
Prior to initiating the account setup, please verify that your wallet contains 0.002 ETH and 10 USDC on the Arbitrum network. These assets are for verification purposes only, and no fees are charged.

It is not something I would look for or would prefer it to be an option for hardware wallets, but if possible, it is a good option for those who view cryptocurrencies as an investment and put about 1% of their wealth in Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency, so even if they lose, it is not a big deal.

Maybe Switzerland is the first country that will become Safepal's partner in this matter, if it is successful, I believe it will be implemented in various countries in the future,
Well, I agree with you, for security reasons, I wouldn't link it to my hard wallet if it was in my country.

As soon as it's available, dear guys, I'll try it for you and let you know
I'll do some tests since I'm in Europe and I can try it, then I have the connections to be able to try it in beta testing
it would be useful to know how much and how KYC works, if you are interested I will find out and let you know!

Maybe you missed it, but I wrote something about it in the previous post. As far as it seems to me, it is more or less standard KYC that requires a personal document and, if I understood correctly, a video call that will additionally verify the user and confirm his location.
In any case, write us your impressions if you manage to open an account.

Good news for the crypto community, the SafePal wallet was one of my favorite wallets. It has many important features and is widely used here in my country to bypass the Binance ban, as Binance is banned and the ban can be bypassed through the Binance service integrated with the wallet.
In any case, I do not expect this new service to be available in my country, as KYC will most likely be imposed on users who wish to use the new service, and this is something I try to stay away from as much as possible, but it remains good news in any case.

yes, I'm sorry, I didn't see it, karma for you for reporting it
yes, if I can, I'll try it just to find out how it works, I'm a very curious person, and also to find out what they're specifically asking for
It's very important to try all the known paths, you never know what the future may hold
:)

No problem, everyone happens to overlook something, but only a few are ready to admit it ;)

If you have already done a lot of KYC, then one more or less means nothing when it comes to privacy. I stick to using BTC directly for payment, sell it for cash or, as a third option, look for virtual cards that can be added to Google/Apple Pay, and can be bought for BTC - all of course without KYC.
-
thx i am honest :)
I honestly don't know if I will, but I will certainly get information as soon as I have access to the beta
if the number of data requested is high, I simply report it here but I don't sign up
for many reasons, I'm really allergic to giving too much data... I really don't like it on a philosophical level

These type of stuff could end up being something that would not be all that easy to handle if you ask me, we are talking about something that may take a while. I am not saying that we could make it work, I am just saying that it wouldn't be all that complicated to handle. In the end, we are talking about something that will be basically risky, and not really worth it. I have used them before,e and its not comfortable and the charges are always way to high. I rather cash out whatever I should, that's easier. I just use my normal credit card from the bank everywhere I go, and my "crypto" way is that, when at the end of the month, I know my credit card bill, I cash out that much, and pay it. Simple as that. This why its still "crypto" to me, I pay it all with crypto, but the shops and places that I spend, gets it in fiat.

what you say makes sense, I also do what you do but we, if you want, are advanced users and not everyone is capable of doing it
beyond the very high fees, and you're right about this too, the horrible thing is the really heavy KYC part
I remember years ago using XAPO and I loved that paper, I didn't use it "often" but when I found myself in an emergency I was able to do it and it saved the day

It must be one of the worst ideas to trust some shady company from China with closed sourced wallet that is directly connected with payment cards.
You are sending them all your personal information with kyc, and they are tracking your every transaction and every single purchase.
This is a big risk and I would never connect all this thing together.

Yes, you're right, I'm so nerdy and eager to try nice crypto services that I forgot to say this
obviously you are 100% right, it is not good to use this with all your funds, it would be an unnecessary risk to take
I used XAPO in the past but I didn't use satoshi, only when I had to buy something
-
...I used XAPO in the past...
My goodness you unlocked a memory for me, I remember that period when anonymous debit cards with cryptocurrencies existed! At the time I didnt take any cards but I remember you talking about it, that worry-free period was really beautiful. If you spent money on it, know that those satoshis are worth more now! :P

If you don't need to use cards like this all the time than you can fins several crypto virtual cards that work fine without any identity verification (Stealths, bit.store, etc).
This is good to use for some online purchases that don't accept bitcoin payments, but there are other card options you can find on Bitlist.co website in debit card section.
Do your own research before using anything.

You're right, cards that I can definitely use with Google Pay or another suitable NFC phone. True, this information is really useful to me and so is this site which I will immediately add to my favourites.
It is the site that sponsors icopress and I must say that there is a lot of good information inside.

https://bitlist.co/
This site is really fantastic, really very nice and useful. Among other things, 24 credit cards are marked, 2 of which without KYC, not bad. SOL and Stealth. I also love the fact that on this site you can easily filter the information and therefore you can better evaluate what you need. Really excellent.

Thanks but I am not the owner, this website is made by icopress and developed by tryNinja, so you can ask them anything you want related with that.
I think there are still several cards that are missing from Bitlist and new cards are coming out all the time, so better do additional research.

It is indeed good news for SafePal users now they can easily buy and sell their BTC and pay for many products and services like they showed on their website. It's great and will get adopted by those Swiss bank users who are still not into crypto. I also use Trustwallet and I don't think they will introduce such a function.
If they will introduce they will use BNB network for transaction unlike SafePal which has used arbitram network to lower the transactions fee. I can see the forex option in the app too which means we can do trading in forex from our crypto too.

SafePal Banking Gateway - Manage crypto-friendly bank accounts and Visa cards from today...

Your excitement about SafePal's new banking gateway is quite justified, especially if it is paired with a crypto-friendly banking and Visa card service. The link you provided provides information on SafePal's banking gateway service, which is currently in beta. Such a gateway can be a huge benefit to users, especially those looking to bridge the gap between cryptocurrency and traditional finance. As the use of cryptocurrencies grows, companies like SafePal are working to facilitate transactions between crypto and fiat money, which will add a new dimension to cryptocurrency adoption.
