The US elections are coming up. Former President Donald Trump recently delivered a keynote speech at the Bitcoin 2024 conference, during which he expressed strong support for Bitcoin and made many promises. Trump's speech itself made a lot of noise. What do you think about these events? What happens next? What are your predictions?

They are positive mindedly to the development of the Bitcoin communities. Trump had been a pro Bitcoin enthusiast and he has also been a politician with all forces of creating awareness.
He already knows the levels by which Bitcoin has possesed globally so he also took that as opportunity to create awareness in the Bitcoin industry but though his forth goal towards all that he has been inciting about Bitcoin is mostly considered to be his political interests against the forthcoming US election.
He speaks well for the Bitcoin communities and in benefits of doubts as politician he is, we hope he accomplishes all that promises if he wins. I also wish him to win because his opponent has never been sighted much visions for the Bitcoin enthusiasts as Trump has been so we just have to hope on his promises and give him our mandate.

a lot were actually quite underwhelmed by trump’s promises they thought that he would push bitcoin to become the country’s reserve but he did not promise that i actually thought it is for the better since i do not see it to be easily attainable and realistic it gives off the impression that trump really does want to make true of his promises re bitcoin

That man spoke for many minutes and I love his confidence about what he is doing and I hope the promises doesn't end like normal policians who seek for power, get what they want and abandoned the community. If all he promised is actualize, I think the strong hold of Bitcoin will spread more and there will always be confidence in the market.
If US becomes one of the most love place for Crypto, the US based investors that running to Dubai because of uncertainty of Bitcoin with US and their investments, the government will attract them back and even many crypt submit that are happening in other countries will now be coming to US and this will only make Bitcoin to be bullish more.

Trump appearing at Bitcoin conference was one big nothingburger and empty promises, sorry for ruining dream for some of you.
If people would actually remember the words of politicians they would know that all of them are just big liars.
Don't forget that Trump was already a president and he did nothing for Bitcoin.

He pandered to the audience but didn’t really show he has a good understanding of what Bitcoin is. He is saying whatever he thinks will get him some votes but it does not come off as him having sincere interest. Once the campaign is over, he might forget about it entirely or will offer only a few breadcrumbs.

Well I think this has positive effects from the business and investment sector in the United States to his presidential fight against his opponents. But this really depends on the people of America on what and how they are willing to give Trump a chance to be once again he next president of their country. Aside from that was a pretty normal thing that an election might cost in every party as we all know they do have different perspectives and plans but of course Trump's vision on Bitcoin has his advantage to the Bitcoin community and I think most of them will support him for that.

This is a positive fight in the political context, as trump vision has benefits for the bitcoin community and therefore is a sound plan to take advantage of to become the next president. But if you show such positive aspects about bitcoin, everyone will support it because crypto is now considered as a great source of money for people. Moreover such a proposal really depends on the american people how they view the crypto life. The government of my country had promised something like this before the elections, but the time has changed and now they are avoiding it.

~ What are your predictions?
Since he's still a politician, we should take what he says with a grain of salt. I think he won't be able to fulfill all the promises he made during his speech but at least he can kick Gensler and have someone that's more crypto friendly to replace him.

Election will come and will still go, but what has been said will always remain for the people to reckoned on, i hope with an expectation that Trump is not only using the bitcoin entire community as part of his campaign on achieving what he has in planned towards his emergence as a winner, even though time will tell, we need to make sure that we are the consequences to every of the reactions in which we made.

I think some think his speech is underwhelming, which is expected considering who he is. I don't think any enthusiast expect a lot from him to begin with, only those who like to make noise and drama would put so much attention to him. I believe some people need to change the way they judge the prospect of each candidate to make sure they don't fall for empty promise. Maybe stop looking at Trump's promise and see his track records on crypto policies. Take a look at his team or something similar and see if anyone has a good record on cryptocurrency related business or not. At the very least you have something to quantify instead of looking at empy promises. CMIIW.
