CryptoQuant’s CEO, Ki Young Ju, suggests Bitcoin’s current bull run might continue until mid-2025, based on past profit-taking patterns by old whales.
Do you think this prediction holds up, or are there other factors that could change the outlook?

say whether a prediction is true or not after we have passed the specified period, if it has not passed, no one knows in my opinion, just pass and wait for that period for now, and as we know everyone has their own predictions for bitcoin so whatever and whenever the prediction is, we will see whose prediction is the most accurate in 2025

This is just another prediction, are you familiar with the S2F model though? In the last bull run, majority thinks that it's a good prediction and it says that it will reach $100k in 2021 and we are on the verge of it, as high as $69k around October-November and everyone though that his prediction will come true. Unfortunately, as much as it follows a good analysis and what other factors can attributed it's price to go to 6 digits, it didn't happen. So what are the lessons that we learn, obviously, no one is going to be an expert here, everyone will have it's own prediction and then we will see how it goes. Second, market is very unpredictable, third, just like you and me and the rest of Bitcoin investors, we will have our own wild and educated guess, and it could be a hit or missed.

It could happen as predicted by that person but I still would not wait for it before I exit the market. Anyway, we have our own strategies and it's up to you if you want to adjust based on that prediction. Maybe leave 10% up to 20% of your entire portfolio just in case price would shoot up even more after January 2025.

I don't know what to call this move, people think that Bitcoin has been making progress but when you zoom out on a micro level, this is just retest of previous all time we have touch sometimes ago, there is nothing new that Bitcoin price has achieved since we touch those levels, it's to early to be discussing about how long bull run will last until we break the all time high.
What can really determine bull run right now is US election and Mt.gox Bitcoin distribution, if all are distributed and Bitcoin remain at above 60k and then Trump found way to the whitehouse, the bull run will last for many months if not a year more.

Should anyone care what some unknown person thinks about it? He knows about such things just like everyone else, throwing numbers and guessing means nothing.
By the way, don't be a spammer, the number of your posts/topics shows that you don't care too much about quality but quantity.

I don't know about Ki Young Ju, but I think many times I have written on this platform that, the bull can last till the Q1 of 2025 and maybe more. I don't know what trust we should keep in Young's suggestions but we always do our own research. However, this information gave me the idea that we can also predict the nature of the market by observing the profit-taking patterns of Old Whales.
I read the article, and it gave full information, but I found it difficult to understand it, I will spend more time on it.
Overall, I think the BTC bullish cycle will exist longer than the time that Young anticipated.

TBH, my expectation is yes there are higher chances of lasting the bull run until the 2025's Q2, HAah it should last until that timeline because to fit in the speculated targets of profit and All time for Bitcoin and altcoins as well. Anyway the current era is super boring haha, today is FOMC's meeting let's see how market behaves on that event.

Of course there is a higher chance of lasting that long or even more, so actually in as much as the Bitcoin price keeps increasing this period we have not really enter the bull season so I'm looking at towards the last quarter of the year because already the market has beginning to range, however I know that when they speculate that Bitcoin bull season will last till the middle of 2025 most people will be thinking that is too short but what they failed to understand is that when the bull season starts Bitcoin price can move drastically within the space of three days so perhaps I can imagine how far Bitcoin price will reach in the bull season.

hopefully it will extend to another year. it be discouraging for investors not seeing their shitcoin grew. i guess they will be moving out of crypto when their shitcoins make profit.
the market is acting strange since the time SEC approved ETF. the only bull run that is happening is just Bitcoin's bull run and no other crypto has risen. we know the halving just happened and normally the bull market will make the price higher after a few months after the having. however nothing happens.
if there is indeed a supercycle they were saying, i hope this will it. bull run for the whole 2 years ;D

I've always said this on several occasions that previous factors or history does not necessarily predict what the outcome or future of something will be, specially as it concerns bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general.
Profit taking in the previous bull runs does not tell how long the coming bull run will last, and this is because the factors or catalyst that drove the previous years bull run is not the same factors or catalyst driving, or that will drive the coming bull run, for example, this year, we have bitcoin ETFs, ethereum ETF and several other ETFs coming, and this have brought alot of adoption to bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general far much more than we Saw in the previous years, this development can either be positive or negative for the crypto market depending on news and sentiment, and this could play a major role in determining how long the coming bull run will run..

You mention Ki Young Ju, I don't know what the difference is in what we all think in reference to the existing data and what we could project, but it is just mere speculation, whoever expected an ATH this year, broke the known historical ones.
So unless Ki Young Ju has a crystal ball, we will have to wait, but without a doubt, 2025 foresees breaking at least the last ATH, that in my case could be a `'measured' projection.

Predicting the duration of a Bitcoin bull run can be challenging due to the speculative nature here, as cryptocurrency markets often fluctuate. However, if we don't have any idea from history, then I would say that although this currency has risen from history, although it has been moving slowly, its price has increased in the current time compared to the history, its price and also its popularity in the current time is also very high. willing And I would like to make another point about this. Some analysts and enthusiasts estimate that the current bull run could continue until mid-2025, these predictions are subject to significant uncertainty. When evaluating such predictions, various factors are considered, including market trends, investor behavior and external economic conditions. It is essential to do and it is good to know about the risks involved in investing because if you invest without knowing it well then you may lose money later on. So I would say it is wise to do thorough research and consult with financial advisors before taking any investment decision.

For me I think it will last until the last quarter of 2025 and that is my personal opinion and this might not be accurate since this is just my own specualtion. I think that prediction might hold up that long but it could also change depending on the market situation.

The bull hasn't even started yet, and he said that "current" bull run? Did he shared some factors that affected his decision to say that the bull run has started already?
As for his prediction, it's just a normal prediction like we Average Joes are doing. The only difference is that he might used a bit of TA and what's happening globally to come up with that kind of prediction, but anybody can just make their own prediction in their own way. If it's true though that it will end on the mid of 2025 then I just hope that all of us before the mid-2025 happens must have take their profit already.
As for me, I don't think that the bull run has even started yet, and I don't think that it will end that fast because normally, bull run lasts around 12-18 months.
