New app — same scam!
Realizing how bad the reputation of the Word blocked because repetitive posts brand is, scammers launched a new project.
Recently an application called FRWT appeared on GooglePlay.
play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.f..
This is exactly the same scam! If you download the app and deposit coins, you will not be able to withdraw them. The administration will block your account and steal your assets.
If you use Google Play, make a complaint and ask the moderators to remove this application! Only by working together can we stop scammers!

There are a lot of scam accusations about Word blocked because repetitive posts. The reputation of their account on the Bitcointalk forum speaks volumes https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=1177176
Why they still exist is the question. I guess the only way to put them out of business is to somehow present themselves as a coinjoin function and to deal with privacy. I believe that they would quickly be the target of the investigative authorities.

Why they still exist is the question.
Yeah, I thought it will be downhill for them after they blocked Elon's transactions. He later criticized the app and warned his followers to avoid wallets that don't give users private keys.
Now that I entered their name in my browsers, I guess the algo will start sending me their aggressive ads ;D

Why are some people even prefering to use a custodial wallet? Even if the wallet is good, I can never recommend custodial wallet to anyone. Wallet should be noncustodial and the wallet users should be able to have full control over their coins. What custodial wallet can not do. Also the wallet has many scam accusation.
-
If we analyze the issue of custodial wallet, we see that its use may be convenient for some people but it also comes with some risks. However, there are several reasons why custodial wallets can be used. However, custodial wallets are very easy to use and provide an easy way to get started. There are many new users who like to store and trade cryptocurrencies. And if we talk about the risks involved in this case, there are several hacking and security issues related to custody wallets. If there is any problem in this case then the chances of getting money back are very low. If I talk about security then using non-custodial wallet can be a good option to use in case of a secure and self-reliant wallet. Because it gives the user complete control and greater security.
-
Today i found out other custodial wallet got seized by government[1], but it's crazy Frewallet.org still exist when it have far more scam accusations. I wonder if government isn't after this wallet, due to "identity verification" as pretense to steal user coin.

It always seemed to me that the "authorities" in this particular case have a problem with the fact that the owners are unavailable to them, so they don't even try to catch them - and on the other hand, that service somehow does them a favor by showing people how risky the whole thing is and thus dissuades them from investing again. Be that as it may, it is strange that after all the accusations over the years they still exist.
When it comes to @Pastaral, it seems to me that even he himself doesn't really understand what he wrote ::)

Using non-custodial cryptocurrency wallets should be one of the basic things that anybody in this industry should learn. As to why many will still trust custodial wallets can be beyond comprehension...either they are not updated or they are just plainly blind. Now, as to this scamming wallet platform, am one of the many wondering why this is still allowed to exist...is it because this is based in a foreign country and authorities from countries like USA find it hard to go after it? Or maybe there is something behind we still do not know? For now, we can report this wallet to authorities and we have to tell others never to be a part of this service. That feeling of being victimized online is really beyond description and that is why wew have to be careful all the time and we must use Google to find more on something we are about to use.

It is not that everyone in this industry is registered on BTT or ATT, they are not aware of such a scam by this wallet. Apart from that the team behind this wallet has been marketing it aggressively, newbies get attracted to the advertisement and then fall into the scam. I always avoid using new wallets those which have been in the market for a long time and have created a reputation are the ones that should be used. Due to such scams, this industry suffers from a trust deficit and that is why only recommended wallets should be considered for storing coins.

There are some sites or some things that is publicly seen legit but people will be complaining about the site or thing. There are many of them. No government or regulators or anyone that will go after them and they will be scamming people. That is why we need to make findings before we use anything that we download online or use online. If you research about the wallet as good or bad, you will not use it after you will see many scam accusations about the wallet.

~snip~
You don't have to be registered on any forum to be able to research anyone or anything online. The fact that people become victims of this scam lies only in one seemingly simple thing, which is that they do not know or do not want to use search engines. The truth is always available, the only question is why so many people refuse to see it.
Still, I'm not surprised that beginners are so naive, when a world-famous "genius" became a victim of that same wallet, which means that even he is not one of those who know that no one should be blindly trusted.

but it's crazy Frewallet.org still exist when it have far more scam accusations. I wonder if government isn't after this wallet, due to "identity verification" as pretense to steal user coin.
Why were no legal investigations opened against them? I remember that someone posted a picture of the founder and CEO, yet I do not remember that legal charges were brought against them.
-
Aside from it not being free it should be labeled as a potential hacking/scamming Tactic by the people behind it. I never really tried that and I thought with the name itself it would be somewhat a open source Software but seeing the reviews, it’s definitely not legit.
You better be careful with this kind of tactic.

In this crypto ecosystem if someone is not well grounded in it and he is s psychologically absent of cryptocurrency activities, then he will be scammed many time. And that is why when someone is new to cryptocurrency, they need to ask questions to know more before investing and using a wallet. This particular wallet is even strange to me. I have not heard it before. We should be careful in this crypto ecosystem.

Even more petitions have been launched to start an investigation against them.

Only more proof that the government is interested primarily against services that offer privacy and not against scams.
It is not that everyone in this industry is registered on BTT or ATT, they are not aware of such a scam by this wallet.
This is what Word blocked because repetitive posts fraudsters are counting on. A good part will not do any research before thinking of using them.

Such crimes have long procedures before arrest and at the same time, they picture could be in public domain but they could be hidding making they arrest hard to reach at immediate, but that just speculations anyways since there haven't be proven to be the real people behind Word blocked because repetitive posts developments, so alot need to be put in check before we make such statement as why those guys are still free and not arrested yet.
Significantly more than that is the possibility of comprising the crime by law enforcements agents, because such scam is a multi dollars scheme, which need alot of network and connection to pull this up.

I don't know, I also don't really agree with the use of custodial wallets as our main asset storage, it really doesn't provide a sense of security for our assets in larger portions....most likely the reason they still exist is because custodial wallets always have their own way to stay in existence... and also their marketing strategy is able to convince new users to entrust their money to the wallet service provider..
I am like you, I can't recommend custodial wallets for primary purposes, it doesn't provide a better sense of security when using it to store large amounts of assets.

Yeah, I thought it will be downhill for them after they blocked Elon's transactions. He later criticized the app and warned his followers to avoid wallets that don't give users private keys.
Haha I did not know that Elon also used this app and his account (https://cryptodaily.co.uk/2021/02/elon-musk-Word blocked because repetitive posts) was locked. Well if Elon a big influential person tweeted badly about this wallet then why is this wallet still being considered? BTW I never used this wallet before, I wouldn't prefer to hold my funds in a wallet which is not even give me private keys. I mean the rule is simple, Not your keys, not your funds.
I am sorry for the victims who lost that much money to this app, but they really needed to be investigated by authorities.
I guess the only way to put them out of business is to somehow present themselves as a coinjoin function and to deal with privacy. I believe that they would quickly be the target of the investigative authorities.
Haha I think this plan is 100% fail proof haha.

Whatever happened to that Bitcointalk account that was releasing treasure troves of evidence and dumps against Word blocked because repetitive posts among other companies?
Yeah, I thought it will be downhill for them after they blocked Elon's transactions. He later criticized the app and warned his followers to avoid wallets that don't give users private keys.
They know that Elon has the power to tank their wallet if he wanted to, since he has the entire crypto twitter at their knees. So the unblocking of his account was only a PR move to "save" their reputation and do damage control.
