Vitalik Buterin, in the early Asia hours on Monday, has sold all 17.145 billion Neiro tokens that he received from the Neiro team. The tokens represent 4.08% of the total supply and Buterin was the largest holder of the memecoin, according to the team.

Neiro deserves to be the worst memecoin because they tried to send a lot of tokens to Vitalik's wallet and claim to be the largest token holder for nothing.

Not the first time he has done that, when we had the dogs and cats memecoin season, people would send different "dogs" to his wallet and he would eventually sell everything. If you're sending your tokens to a famous guy without him asking, don't get surprised when he dumps. Projects should stop doing that. :P

This is very appalling. I wonder how long will it take Neiro to bounce back in price. This is one of the reasons I hate investing in memecoins because of this, their whale having large numbers of their tokens, which they can choose to dump at the market at any time they choose to.
Whose loss to this, the action of Vitalik dumping Neiro to the market? That will be the investors who bought Neiro, thinking that they have bought a profiting memecoins for the future

The dev team may have bought it and paid 44.53 ETH to prove that the token can be liquidated much better than Vitalik tweeting that he couldn't sell his tokens. The team will try to pump the price again but I think that will be the end of it and they will be satisfied with what they made.

If things be or happened exactly as you have explained it, then the Neiro team are nothing but a bunch of scammers trying to ride or hype on Vitalik's popularity and reputation for their own selfish interest and benefit, but then, good thing that Vitalik showed them that he is not blind and won't let anyone use his name, his reputation as a bait to what ever be their agenda.
It is completely and absolutely wrong to send tokens to a person's personal wallet without his or her approval or request, and l love what Vitalik did, if he had left those tokens on his wallet, those project owners will continue to use his name to promote the token, and in no time, alot of other scam memecoin developers will come on board and use the same strategy to scam a lot of people.

Whatever the case for the motivation of sending the meme coins to Vitalik wallet address, I'm sure this is not the first time meme coins were send to his wallet and sold for ethereum. The developers probably did it for recognition and selling it has given them the attention they have been wanting because we are all discussing about the coin. If not for this action I dumping, I never even heard of the coin since it was launched.
Don't be surprise if other ape into the coin later after everything has settled down as I see somewhere announcements on Bybit to list the coin or maybe it has been listed on the exchange as I'm taking about it.
