Title: User wallet4bitcoin, teleported hacked account
Post by: examplens on August 23, 2024, 12:42:29 PM
The original owner of this account appeared on the Bitcointalk forum, the recovery process is currently underway. He claims that he has not had access to the account since January and that he has been trying to gain access since then. In the meantime, the hacker teleported the account to this forum.
Not everything has been confirmed yet, but I will leave the basic evidence here in case the traces are erased. (Perhaps the admin can temporarily turn off the edit post option for this account)

Open thread for recovery request. Source: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5507024.0
I am surprised to see my account is active when I am trying to recover it from January. Unfortunately, I never imagine I got hacked, That's why not checked account activists. I use GMX mail, and they deleted my email address for not logging in within 6 months. I tried to recover it by contacting the support team, but they declined and said they had deleted all data. Here is the reply: https://ibb.co/BgVy5bW

Maybe my account was hacked from my computer or by some other way.

Hacked account information:
Username: wallet4bitcoin
Profile link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=833452

The hacker deleted all (POA) with my wallet address, but I've collected some strong proof to prove my ownership.

Previously, I participated in signature campaigns:
1. 100xCoin (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5333978.0) (Spreadsheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1EOTBn-fRW2sffhCKm1u92sx-usZfVvBZRRXXD-kazBA/edit?usp=sharing))

The hacker deleted the POA, but the spreadsheets still show my wallet address, and there are transactions for my signature campaign payments.

My EVM: 0xdc5158a2967E262C222D06fFfB8c2412312048d8 (I still have access and can prove ownership)

My payment transaction for the 100xCoin signature: https://bscscan.com/tx/0x2209021078eb93d2f2736827dd4d9ac4c53614fc8f9598afe60a10bfb459b111
My payment transaction for the Moobet signature:

Week 2: https://bscscan.com/tx/0x1188b7eec5ce724d5419e1438aba9fdcfd5d04baefdb87d2ab142681af59a1a6

Since they used Multisender, you can easily find the transactions here: https://bscscan.com/address/0xdc5158a2967E262C222D06fFfB8c2412312048d8#tokentxns

I don’t have access to my email, but I know the email address. How can I recover my account using only my ETH wallet address?

Edit: here is a POA for my wallet address: https://loyce.club/archive/posts/5698/56986175.html

I have verified signature on bscscan for that.

I don't see a teleport request on this forum, I assume it was done via PM, it certainly has a teleported badge.

There's enough evidence that the account changed hands either the actual owner sold it or really hacked either way the one who is currently using most likely has multiple accounts so he definitely deserves the cheater tag so that he can't use that account anymore.

Also, I am eager to know the admin's reply regarding whether the sold accounts are allowed to be teleported or not.

The decision is up to admin or the president, so I'm just giving my couple of sats: we can't investigate all cases on any other forum, we can do things only here. So we can't be sure when some account is sold or not, all investigations somewhere else can be not enough proving. So if the altcoinstalks account owner didn't do anything wrong and it wasn't proved that he is cheating others... well, I'd not been to hurry. But I guess as long as teleportation event is going on the owner of the account on the BTT can ask to recover his account here if he holds his original account there, so teleporting the hacked account can be the bad idea.

I'm not sure this is my final view on this situation, I'll follow it more.

I transferred it here only to leave a trace of possible abuse. We do not know if the user will ever refer to the reputation with Btt for any reason.
If there is a more significant update, I will definitely quote it here.

You did everything right: you saw a possible abuse and warned everyone about that. +

Now we are warned and will decide if there is any need in additional measures.

Does anyone know if account WWZSCOCKI ever teleported to AltcoinsTalks forum?
I saw he posted that his bitcointalk account was hacked recently and he is still trying to recover it to this day.

Maybe we should open new dedicated topic here for all Hacked Bitcointalk accounts, with latest news and updates.

I think he is present here as well. As far as I know, he offers shilling services on the forum and similar platforms. I think he was even engaged here a couple of times.
I also think that there is more than one account on Btt.

I tried searching for WWZSCOCKI here but I didn't find anything, there is nothing in Teleported Accounts topic, so I can't find him in this forum.
I know about altaccount crypto mania he used for reporting this case, but I didn't research more about him.

Today I created a topic in Forum related board, so anyone can report similar cases to inform admin and moderators here:

Don't understand what direction this thread is supposed to be going in, seems clear this is an issue at bitcointalk, and no evidence of an issue here regarding cheating bounties or multi-accounts.

Have therefore moved it back to Decentralized Team section. Cases against bounty cheaters & mutli-accounts in the court sub-section should only be opened with clearly presented evidence rather than speculation or concern, otherwise there is nothing for Judges to act upon, similar to how regular courts work. If it's otherwise considered an admin or president situation to deal with, then it's again not for the judges, and instead can be presented here.

I do otherwise sympathise that it's confusing as to where threads should be opened, especially with a topic like this one that is effectively a new potential concern (I don't remember us concerning ourselves over hacked accounts elsewhere before at least), and in reality sometimes as mods we don't even know!

Think of it like the Reptutation section at bitcointalk that's a sub-section of Trading discussions: most of the time they have nothing to do with a user's trading history, but simply forum reputations, and is therefore quite illogical. Yet, as members we know to use this section because it's what we've learnt after opening a topic in Meta for example, because it's just the established norm.

It is linked to this forum because the "new owner" on Btt (or a hacker) teleported to Altt. So the person who presents himself here behind that account has nothing to do with the history of the account on Btt. In some cases, it can be misleading.
The topic is more like a reference.

Otherwise, it may be a third owner, because the previous one has a problem proving ownership by signing the oldest used Bitcoin address.

There (on Altcoinstalks) wasn't much activity here before, nor were there more significant trades, so you didn't encounter the problems that hacked accounts can bring. Hacked or just that the acc has changed its owner completely changes things in some trade.

This is again more about dealing with where a topic belongs than the very essence of the problem. If, after so many years, the Senate still needs to vote and decide where a thread belongs, it is obvious that the system is too complicated and needs simplification.

You are right, this topic has served its purpose, there is no need for further discussion here, so I will lock it.

My bad, I didn't read the entire discussion over on btt where the original owner provides a verified signature of ownership:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5507024.msg64457191#msg64457191

Have recommended to admin this account is nuked. It'd be wrong to apply the "cheater" badger, as the teleported account in the right hands is not a cheater (at least, there is no evidence of this at present). If the original user wants to have their account teleported again then they would be able to apply, but no evidence to suggest they are interested yet. No point in offering to "hand back" the account to the original user, as it was never used by them in the first place. From what Jokers said I understand the account may have been "legitimately" purchased, but there doesn't appear to be any evidence of this as of yet.

You are otherwise mistaken, the senate has never voted on where topics belong.

Until this is resolved, it might be worth unlocking this thread, even if not necessarily for mod/admin.
