Title: Crypto Market Navigation: What's Working for You?
Post by: Smilez on September 03, 2024, 06:30:53 PM
I've noticed several influencers predicting a BTC breakout, but so far, it's yet to happen. Meanwhile, many traders have their own strategies, but I've been exploring new approaches.

Recently, I've come across some interesting events that help with portfolio management, which got me thinking - there must be more opportunities like this out there.

I'm on the hunt for events that can help me double my profits while minimizing losses. If anyone knows of such events, please share! I'm confident the bull run will come; I'm just waiting patiently.

The legitimate way is to trade cryptos on high-risk methods such as futures but I won't call that as trading though because it's more like a [prediction game and the chances of losing is higher as well.

My advice is to focus on long-term goals rather than short-term ones. This will minimize losses and allow you to get the most returns when the market is at its peak.

Just remember high return you expect the risk associate with that investment also increase with that accordingly so you can get high returns with less potential to lose.

Wonder which event you speak of that could possibly double your profits. But then, you should not always listen to these social influencer trying to make predictions which they barley understands just to make their channel a center of discussion. That all they try to do, especially in x space you see lots of them making predictions of BTC getting to $100k or even more before the end of the year. Not that it's not something possible, but let's be realistic.
Around last year, December BTC showed a strong push breaking all its resistance zones and climbed above the $40k mark. Earlier this year even before the halving, it had even more momentum due to some factors like the approval of BTC ETF and some other strong forces. all these out together got it past the $70k creating a new Ath.

If you analyze the market properly, you can see that there's a resistance zone at that point, which continues to bring it back to the 50k mark. Not until BTC breaks pass that point will we see a new ATH. And to me it won't be this year. We shouldn't expect much from BTC this year but in 2025. Just continue you accumulation and hold awaiting the next bull.

Yeah there are a lot of bitcoin enthusiast out there anticipating the bull run. And if course the bull run is coming but the question is how soon? Bitcoin hit around about $70k this year and since then it's been consolidating around the $60k area. Personally I believe bitcoin will hit over $80k but probably not this year.
Anyways OP are you looking to get new trading strategies or what? Because from your post it seems like you are mixing up the concept of Hodling and trading. Take for example, HODLERS don't care much about chart patterns or market setups.
On the contrary traders do. If you are looking to learn new strategies concerning crypto market trading I suggest you check out the crypto trading board. If not the most important thing about hodling is keeping your coins safe.

A lot of discipline is needed if you're looking to reduce your losses in trading. You will need most of the time to make your independent analysis and not rely on the so-called "Calls" from experts. Talking about events, exchanges should be your best bet place for trading events with good incentives. At least they could keep to their proposed rewards. I found one recently, although exclusive for South Asian users of Bitget especially first time traders who are willing to try out futures, the platform sets out measures to reward the users with prizes good enough to cover their losses. Another place you can explore should be crypto threads on Twitter. You could find useful information on various crypto events.

The best advice at the moment is to keep waiting for the market to rise and the expected peak, everyone is waiting for a new peak for Bitcoin and then you will see double digits in the market.

Participating in some events that can double profits is risky so I can't give you advice on this, but there are some good events that I hear about from time to time on Bitget, ByBit exchanges that can make some good additional profits, but in the end it is your responsibility DYOR.

I totally agree. You either wait or accumulate more while you can.
The boons won't be available for long, and the rewards should be huge for those able to hold for enough time.

Nobody was and is perfect when it comes to predicting the BTC breakout, even the influencers or the so called market experts, Events shaped the market condition, so its what happens in the current events that has an impact on Bitcoin or on every coin. Just take a lot on Ton because of what happened to Durov.
The best approach is to condition your mind, be prepared for any eventualities, and above all, invest with money that you can afford to lose.

bitcoin is very unpredictable and it can surprise you when you least expect it personally i think it can surprise us during the last few weeks of the year it seems to do well during the last month of the year so this year might not be different unless there is a significant event that might affect bitcoin

you want to make sure your money is safe because you are basically leaving it alone for years this is why i don’t use exchange to hold my money because then it will not be mine anymore

Is BTC unpredictable, though? ;D It's volatile, sure, but it's nowhere near alts and new projects.
Just hold for enough time and accumulate it slowly.
The funds going in shouldn't be the ones you will need to use in the near future.
You basically freeze them to see BTC make its magic in the future after halving and shake-ups.

What interesting event did you find out, if you don't mind sharing? And I can't really share any relevant opportunities like the ones you have not even mentioned. Make your post a bit valuable more with exact and accurate words.

Besides this everyone is on hunt to double, triple and 100x their portfolio and halving is one of those events that everyone speculates on but there are more events like political events like Donald Trump and other political leaders adopting BTC and sharing their positive views about the future of crypto, and the vast adoption of crypto all over the world is also a good event. No one can really see any event coming from future but we can predict them at least.

We only see the results of the news that shape the market, unfortunately, that's true.
If only we could be in the circle of those who gets the info first.

From your topic I can understand that you want a suggestion where you will invest but it will be risk free.  First of all I want to say that it is not easy to get double profit from investment.  And those who can do that level of skill are full public.

So when you go to invest you have to remember that no matter how secure you invest in a coin, its volatility will put your investment at risk. But for risk management I suggest you to invest in Bitcoin for long term and definitely follow DCA strategy. If you do a little Google search, you can know about DCA strategy and know the details from there.

You want to invest based on events and how you think that event will influence the cryptocurrency market, that is not such an easy strategy and you may get things wrong many times. You also talk of doubling your profits, but also minimizing your losses, i don't think they can be in the same sentence. You must be looking at altcoins, since you are talking about doubling your money, so make sure you invest only what you can afford to lose.

First of all I want to tell you that if you want to invest in the crypto currency market, you should always keep in mind that there will always be risk. And where there is risk there will be possibility of loss.  Here if you are new to trading and don't know much about trading like fundamental analysis technical analysis besides some more basic analysis knowledge you need to start trading.  And if you don't have these things, no matter how well you follow the suggested strategy, you will face difficulties in trading and there will be more chances of facing losses.
But I would like to give a suggestion like others if you want to hold bitcoin for long term here when the bull season starts then etlist is likely to make a profit instead of a loss.

Well, BTC does tend to have its own quite significant volatility level, but in most cases, it tend to be less than the volatility of altcoins and newly launched projects that may have peaks and valleys in value. As long as you hold the Bitcoin for a long time and stack it gradually, it might be a good approach. Just ensure that the funds being invested are those that you do not expect to use in the near future since it may take time before you get your returns. Thus, with the scalping and the changes in the market, it is possible for BTC to have really good results in the future so one must be patient when waiting for the changes to come.

That's partially true because news can have a big impact on the market. Most of the time, people speculate based on news, leading them to buy or sell according to what they hear. As a result, news becomes the main concern for many traders, with everyone speculating on it. However, those who make the most money are not only trading on news but also keeping an eye on the technical aspects.

Technical analysis, or chart analysis, is equally important. By observing the past behavior of a token, we can identify entry and exit points, manage risk, and consider other factors that increase the chances of making a profit.

It is not possible to avoid losses from crypto because there is real risk involved in investing here. However with our experience the risk can often be mitigated. The people who work in crypto are involved in various events. Because you have to invest along with trading to make losses. Those who have been involved in crypto for several years are connected to various events because they want to be in the market already with profit. But if you want to keep up with portfolio management in crypto then stay connected with trading, holding, mining, ido, ieo events.

BTC currently is at 57k so I'm guessing they're right.. you may want to monitor the trend and earn before taking a position. For the events to double your pf or increase, you can search for some on Google or you can explore this on Bitget.. Trading event. (https://www.bitget.site/support/articles/12560603815163). It'll end in about 8 days. Good luck .

Yeah, with them, there are more risks, but more potential when bull starts knocking.

Doubling your investments with no much risk - it's Bitcoin, if we don't take time at stake ;D It's just lotssss of it.

I assume you are speaking of any crypto news (events is what you called it) that can either make the price of Bitcoin to dip or spike, if that's the case, I don't think we can actually be certain concerning any upcoming event that can make the price to dip or pump, but if you actually have interest in making profit from the market, then you should apply the DCA strategy. Start buying little by little while expecting the price to dip.

If you don't have a strong mentality, you will lose, it's better to just trade normally, there are many stories about futures, whether you win or lose, so if you have limited capital, stay away from futures.
