Title: What are your experience in trading?
Post by: SmartGold01 on September 13, 2024, 08:36:31 PM
As stated above I would really want to know our experience in cryptocurrency trading and in what ways did you over come them, and how helpful those methods are to you.
I know altcoin are the most difficult coins to handle especially newly launched coin in the market and how to manage them for long time.

You can drop so others can learn.
Thank you for the time being.

I lost $120k to XYZ Investments, and I was devastated, thinking I'd never get my money back. But with the help of monirecycle.live, I was able to recover everything. The process was surprisingly smooth, and the team was really supportive. If you've lost money like I did, I strongly recommend reaching out to them. It made all the difference for me!

I always feel the loss and profit, it is an experience that indirectly makes me understand more about trading.

A valuable experience that I can tell is one of them when I was better able to manage risk, in my opinion that is one of the keys to how we can continue to trade. Because if we cannot apply risk management properly then it will have a bad impact. This is one and I hope that beginners can learn from this experience, not only my experience, but everyone's experience.

Risk management is very much needed in trading, because by managing the risks that we will face in trading we can get higher profits than the losses that we will suffer. As a trader we must understand that in addition to learning analysis and having enough experience.

Altcoins are gambling. It is better not to trade altcoins at time. Someone that should have been a good bitcoin trader and trading altcoins and be losing. That is what altcoins are. I have bad experience trading altcoins than trading bitcoin.

Trading is very risky. A good trader begin with using small amount of money to trade. I learn not to use leverage anymore. My altcoins trading reduced.

My memorable experience in trading was getting profits from Dogeclin in the past, and also getting daily trading when I used Gala coin.  Meanwhile, this year I got profits from Solana and TON.
And a new experience is when the Bitcoin correction occurred in August and September, I was trapped in a high price and have not recovered until now.

Due to its volatility is regularly advised not to trade altcoin and if there is a chance to keep accumulating Bitcoin then the best for us since altcoin has every tendency to lose at any given time. Although is for a quicker profits but wouldn't still recommend anyone to venture into it because of its volatility, anyone trading should use a very little amount to trade altcoin.

I usually buy and hold spot coin/tokens, but tried leverage trading for a change as I wanted to have bigger positions with limited capital, and result was it did not end well and I figured I should stay with spot.

It made me restless, funding rates were expensive and liquidations — a quick dump and you are done for. Spot just seemed better for my sanity.

I am also agree with your comment. Because we know that bitcoin is one of the best trusted currency in cryptocurrency market. Which will be best profitable for crypto trading. But if we want to trade in altcoin, i think it would not better tan bitcoin. Because i could see many expert trader will increase there profit for trading bitcoin in cryptocurrency market. I am also trade in altcoin but i don’t much benefits from there. So i believe that when we want to trade in cryptocurrency market, we must understanding in crypto market.

Yes, as I said before, this is very important, because by implementing management like this we will be able to minimize the losses that we might feel. Not only that, by implementing management we will also avoid the greed that will come to us.

Keep in mind that what makes us trapped in losses is not always wrong in analyzing, but greed will also make us like that. I have heard many stories from people who have lost because of their greed.

Personally, I believe that the best risk management a trader should do is to only trade with the amount of money that you can afford to lose and don't go for big profits. With that you can continue trading and improve yourself with your experience from the market. Trading is very risk and you can run at loss easily.

I'm a holder, meaning I'm a trader who holds positions for the long term. I also engage in buying and selling, so I'm also a trader. I think I can share my experience in this market.

I officially started trading crypto in 2017, although I've been following the market since 2012 with a negative attitude. I started exploring traditional trading methodssuch as MA, RSI, MACD, Ichimoku, Elliott and wasn't really satisfied with these methods. Besides DCA, I've developed my own models and methods to track and assess the market, aiming to utilize the computing power of machines to process market data and get the best insights into the market condition.

I won't talk about profits because profits will come if a trader has enough knowledge and discipline. I want to share that working with the market is truly very interesting, especially when we have a community to share trading perspectives with each other. The TradingView community is also a place where we can easily find ideas and opinions. Everyone should seek it out and learn what other traders think about this market.

Been trading BTC since time but I always aim for long term like swing traders do it. This works for altcoins too but it takes a lot of waiting. Not profitable for someone who are in a hurry to make money.

But ones I make money in bull season, its worth keeping until almost the next halving.

Cryptocurrency offers a complete experience of profit and loss to everyone.  Some gain a lot through it. Some suffer a lot of loss.  It all depends on skill.  Trading with alt coins and meme coins is the most challenging because they can sink at any time.  However, if you invest in trusted coins, both the amount and the probability of loss are less.  Many people think that trading depends on luck, but this is completely wrong. Because trading depends on training and skill. The more you practice it, the better you will become. My experience is that trading depends on practice. Profit and loss depend on practice.  The more profitable it will be.

It is a Passive income for me, and it has been really helpful now. At the start, it wasn’t, and I had to lose a lot, but that was just a charge to experience. You really need to know what to do and when to do it, like how you are going to engage in the market.

It is important to see The bigger picture instead of the short term because he could see red at the start, but maybe your position could go according to plan.

I do swing trades and automated trading And it has been fruitful.

I deposited on my trading account 3x, and in those 3x, I lost all of my money.
Reason? Wrong decisions, greediness (which I find myself disappointed with), lack of experience, lack of knowledge.

My experiences in trading is a mess that I don't want to do it anymore... or maybe in the future, but not this year I guess. We have different experiences when it comes to trading. Those who are profiting into trading might already changed their lives because of it already while those who lost their money might've been regretted trying trading. Whatever the case is, I see trading as my learning experience and because of that, I realized that I still can't control myself completely because I'm still making bad decisions that caused me hundreds of dollars.

I have a bad experience with. Because I started with no experience. I made wrong trades. I do future but I realize that it is not good good especially for newbie. Now I have skipped and now I am focusing on Airdrops.

I used to invest in paid airdrop and many time I got much as I thought. But sometimes it gives nothing but overall if you ask me so I will say that I am in ptofit at this time. So I mostly invest in top projects and I mostly see the investors and backs of a project.

As a trader my experience wasn't good for the short term trading when I want to do the short term trading most of the time I faced loss but if I talk about the long term trading in case of Bitcoin and bnb and etherium I have the profit and the better experience. Also I do in long term trading with the DCA strategy and its really help me to manage the risk. In the past time I have profit it to 2x from my Bitcoin investment with this strategy and I have reinvested them for the long term again and I am going to continue my long term investment on Bitcoin.
But I am also facing difficulty with holding polygon matic coin recently it is dumbing and dumping I am also scared of this investment for the long term. This is all my current experience in trading I have remembered.

Usually, for altcoins trading I usually follow some special ico signal group. They get early orders from the developers them self to buy and thus we are sent to the group the coin signals before it begins to pump. Then it now depends on how much you wish to hold for the pump. It's usually advice to get up to 2-5x pump and sell off as the projects might get rugged by the dev.Aside that, I also have been into derivative trading. So far I've been able to make a good amount of money from trading those markets pairs. Even though we know how scary the market might be sometimes, it just takes courage and patience to take some major trades and wins

I agree with you in trading we must always practice and hone our skills, if we have good experience and have expertise in trading we can get profit. because not all trading depends on luck. We must seek knowledge and gain experience from the practice. This takes time because it also costs money if we have to bear the loss. emotional management is also needed in trading, because sometimes if you lack experience you will feel panic when the market suddenly turns red.

We have to adjust the capital to see how much profit can be obtained, because it must be realistic that it is impossible for us to have a very large profit while the capital we bring is also limited.

I agree with you that we must trade according to our abilities, or in other words, the money we use to trade is ready for the losses that we might feel, don't force yourself because it's not good.

I did this with some altcoins in 2022 and I was very disappointed. I thought that they have bottomed when bitcoin had also fallen to $20000. I bought some altcoins but which continue to fall. At they fall more than 3 times again, I sold. Although I should not have sold early but that taught me a lesson to just buy bitcoin. But I can buy some altcons with very small amount of money. I mean an amount of money that will be very little.

On the time or moment that you do find yourself investing into those altcoins on which you do believe that it would be ahving the potential then its not really that bad for a step to make.
It did really just turned out that there would really be those people whom would really be taking up the risks and there are ones who would really be sticking into much safer side.
We do know that when it comes into this aspect then it will really be just that depending on you on which or where you would really be investing into.
If you are someone whose really that liking on less risky then you would really be definitely consider on investing with Bitcoin and holding up for long term.

Trading has both the experience of good and bad all together, we may have to earn from it and also lose while trading, this is what we have to consider while trading because we can't expect that things should be the same always with how we are trading, sometimes we may have to adjust and manage up with the situations on ground when we see below expectations while doing trades.

My experience in cryptocurrency trading has been a mix of challenges and learning opportunities. The volatility of the market was a significant hurdle, requiring me to manage emotions and make rational decisions. Altcoins, especially newly launched ones, posed additional difficulties due to their high volatility and lower liquidity.

To overcome these challenges, I focused on thorough research and education, staying informed about market trends and the technology behind different cryptocurrencies. Diversification was key, spreading investments across various coins to mitigate risks. Implementing risk management strategies, such as setting stop-loss orders and not investing more than I could afford to lose, helped protect my investments. Adopting a long-term perspective for altcoins allowed me to focus on their fundamentals rather than short-term price movements.

These methods proved effective, providing a balanced approach to navigating the complexities of cryptocurrency trading and helping me make more informed decisions.

Do we still have ICO in 2024?
I think you can find our the ICO groups in telegram. Have you tried it?
It is better to join trading group than joining ICO group. It will be very helpful if you can join a professional trading group. However, we don't trust them 100%, it is just for sharing and getting some necessary information. Sure, the best way is to make our own analysis, we don't rely on other people analysis.

There are indeed many groups discussing ICOs on Telegram, but many of them are just shilling, as if they are paying attention to something excessively... I myself cannot recommend ICOs for 2024, because the current hype is always moving dynamically... even though there is no ICO, investors with big money, and airdrop participants who are coin hunters still have the potential to make money... it's just a matter of each person's cleverness in finding opportunities... not fixated on ICOs.

In everything you do in trading, try as much as possible to avoid coins that have trading competition. Some traders are heatless and reckless with trading especially the ones that move the markets. They are quick to dump their coin off the market anytime the competition is done and such actions kills your calls on trade or even get caught by stop loss.

Another lesson is learn to be observant than trying to trade everything. You will make nothing when you try to force trading or trade anything you see and lastly learn to follow your instincts, not everytime your technical analysis will be right, they fail too.

Go with the trend before the hype over is one of the way to manage it but it's kind of risky and never meant to be in long run so you just have to be very active with picking the new coins and make profits before it fades away from the trend.

Or keeping it simple like buying Bitcoin and sell whenever we feel we made enough profits sounds like a plan for long term and there's no harm, no need to actively tracking everything going around.

Stay away from newly lunched coins because you can’t handle their activity base on how volatile they can be at lunch. Look for more other altcoins that are more stable and not susceptible to too much volatility of the market. The cryptocurrency trading looks to me like one of the not too hard types of trading as they majorly move on the same path with bitcoin most of the time and only move around the market at some point on their own. I won’t say I have a particular method to employ while trading, I just trade more of what I see and I’m optimistic that it’ll play out.

In these times, it depends on the understanding of a trader; if his idea or knowledge is broad, for sure, even if we are in a retracement period in the market,
we will still get good earnings as a trader. Now, with what I'm doing now, I'm not able to achieve my target profit daily because of the market situation at the moment.

So, if a trader is greedy, I am pretty sure that they will not be able to make a good profit in the end because greed is in their behavior as an individual trader.

Yes buying bitcoin and hold is the best option for now, maybe one can decides to hold for long term to gain profits because bitcoin doesn't give much profits for short term. Like you already said, both trend and hype are actually risky because it would be hard to manage them especially newly listed coin in the market.

Trading responsibly is essential.
Otherwise, greed and temptation may take your funds and suck them dry.
It's essential to consider every choice and action made during each trading session.

If you are a complete noob, then reading up some books or even into those others experiences would really be something helpful and relevant but we do really know that the rest of
learning could really be acquired into actual trading or dealing up with this volatile market. Committing mistakes and errors would really be common since we would really be once a noob
on which due to lack of knowledge on which its normal. The key on here is that on the moment that you do experience these things then you do able to adapt and would be able
to know on what you should gonna do on next time encounter or experience.

Yes buying bitcoin and hold is the best option for now, maybe one can decides to hold for long term to gain profits because bitcoin doesn't give much profits for short term. Like you already said, both trend and hype are actually risky because it would be hard to manage them especially newly listed coin in the market.
Bitcoin should be long term investment because high return earning profitable than trading with altcoin, but depend on each trader typical have long term target holding most of them lack patience waiting for bitcoin will reach higher price.
Short term seems difficult to earn much profitable with bitcoin because every week or month bitcoin show good progress recovery but not significant, seems holding around two until three years should be more profitable when investing assets in bitcoin than taken under one year holding only.

We can categorically say that long term investment investment is much more valuable than short terms, of course if the investor decides to follow up wit the cyclic system then it would be around 4 years depending on the period the investment was made, though there other altcoin that could be trusted in the long run but shouldn't have that total dependency on them because altcoin can still misbehave at anytime.

As stated above I would really want to know our experience in cryptocurrency trading and in what ways did you over come them, and how helpful those methods are to you.
I know altcoin are the most difficult coins to handle especially newly launched coin in the market and how to manage them for long time.
I have loss huge amount on short term trading so i have soo bad experience on day trading. that's why i like to do long term holding. it is very potential method to get good profit but every altcoins is not for long-term investment. because huge new altcoins are coming on crypto market and also big exchange are list them but after ending the hype thats coin price are down huge. so there is high possibility to loss a big amount. so i always choice popular altcoins. investment on new altcoins are high profile also high risky. that's why now i am not invest on new altcoins

You can drop so others can learn.
Thank you for the time being.

Newly launched coin aren't to be trusted and yes I have sink that into my brain and I won't be that careless to go venture into that because manipulation is very much possible and likely to occurred, of course most of the coin moves in the direction of bitcoin especially to those that follows it's movement because there some going sideways if the price aren't down then they would be up while the price of bitcoin is down.

And this post explains why you have 4 negative karmas. Best of luck with such spam.

I losses almost 15K USDT where my income is 300 USDT per month after huge loss for me I decided to quite from crypto market but somehow my two friends give me motivation and give confidence about the coin and market for next bull run and I earn more income for invest in crypto for next bull run.
15k loss is a big one its not a small amount I wonder how did you lost that much money did you lose in one go means in one trade or what? I am glad that you did not give up on crypto and made your living again from it if it takes, then it also gives. 15k loss must be a big lesson for you.

Friends giving motivation are the best thing because motivation is all we need and once we have such friends, we can easily stand on our feet again but such friends are so rare in this world.

Honestly there are a lot of people who make these type of mistakes and thats fine, I think it shouldn't really be a problem at all because its going to keep happening. I believe that we are going to see this getting a different result and we shouldn't really be worried about others. I know that its a sad thing but that doesn't mean that we are going to see something like this for the last time and we can see this getting better and better in the end, which should be something lowering the amount of people but thats not really that big eventually.

Yes, it is very rare when a friend gives a strong push to stay motivated and get up even though they lose tens of thousands of dollars.
I myself don't even have that close friends, none of my friends know I trade in crypto and it's just my personal job without anyone knowing.

Having several close friends with the same job is a blessing, because you are not alone and have friends to help with such psychological problems.

Cryptocurrency offers a complete experience of profit and loss to everyone.
If you have a mentor, you'll be able to avoid the experience of losing massively in trading because if you're someone who trades on your own, there's a very high chance that you will experience these two, especially losing a trade hugely that gets you depressed to the extent of not considering continuing to trade. There are many traders who have gotten to that point in trading where they lost a lot; they were not able to get themselves back again to keep going, and that was were they quit trading.

Well when talking about trading it is varied, for me there are types of Trading such as long term , medium term and short term , I am learning About short term Trading , scalping and Everything that is referred to that very fast temporality where things are at another level and it is worth Noting that things are very given to patterns and some tools that are Used , of course it is like more things that are applied but everything is a learning process , friends are difficult to find, sometimes people when they want or get from you what they need , well they leave later.

Well, As long as we can ensure that each of us does not interact with the other, and does not share much information with anyone, there is no problem with going through this crypto journey this way, which also has some benefits. In some cases, our environment is unfriendly and does not appreciate our efforts as well as things that are being done, including taking risks within investment ventures. But with rising of web-based communities we can still encourage, help, lend an advice and be encouraged in return despite the fact that we cannot be ourselves in the real world. What is key is that we remain objective and always remain open to learning and at the same time never compromise the security of our assets.

If you wish to have some friends, then you will find them, and yeah, when the time is right, you will. I have met with good people due to bitcoin talk as I was also new to crypto when I joined BTT, and with time I came to introduce myself to the local community, and all of them are so helpful, even they can even give interest-free loans if you really need them, but with some middlemen included, like the top personalities of the local communities.

But finding rare friends only to get benefits and help from them is not a good idea We should only wish for friends who will be kind, and there is a saying, "A friend in need is a friend indeed". I hope we all traders will not lose money like the sagarmota10 lost but if we lose then I hope that we will have such friends to help us mentally.

LOL, enjoy your solitude and don't feel lonely because your virtual friends are also quite numerous.
I am also not open to my surroundings and more indoors to work.

Trading and doing other jobs to earn more money from inside the house, all I do to date.
I learned to trade on my own and I did everything from scratch until I could trade well today

We don't need friends to learn and seek knowledge because sometimes friends become a burden, haha, if you know what I mean, but I am not complaining. As I have friends now, I hope I can call them my friends. They are experts and doing well in the crypto world and earning a lot of money in other ways, and I am following them, and I know I might be a burden and headache for them.

As I ask a lot of questions from them, like from Gladiator, he is an expert in the airdrop category, and I seek a lot of information from him. But as I said, we really don't need to depend on them, as without them we can still find a way but with friends, things get easier and I agree. I hope Gladiator won't mind me mentioning him.

If your income is 300 usdt how did you come up with such a huge capital? Did you save to get it or did you make profit  from the market to make such an amount. From what you said I think you were hodling. But every aspect of crypto investment requires a high level of skill set and learning, you can't just dive into it without proper research although the financial market can be unpredictable sometimes but having a sound knowledge would give you a huge advantage and mitigate your losses, instead of investing I would advise you to learn first

I agree with you because sharing every information with your friends is not good or anyone who is near you because they can do harm to you even if the money is not too much. We can definitely get help from different communities when we will get rekt but most people don't want to share their stories so that's up to them but we should never risk our personal information or funds to friends just to get their sympathy, which might be needed due to them.

As I said before to one of the members that we can't find rare loyal friends that easily just to get their help as making friends just for help in the first place makes you a bad friend and a selfish one.

I don't think that investment would take such a heavy toll, and it's beneficial for those who don't want to have the risks of daily trading attached.
It's essential to learn the basics first and only use the funds you are willing to spend for such activities.

Yes, that's why we can't fully trust them. Many ICO groups can be paid to increase the ratings of those new projects. I agree with you, ICO era is over already, it isn't worth it anymore. If there are some ICO projects in 2024, it is better to avoid them and focus on the trusted projects only. Currently, most new projects prefer to have IEO on exchanges. But many of them can't survive a long time, too. Nowadays, I personally prefer to choose the top coins.

I prefer to buy top coins to invest because honestly I don't have much time to do research on new projects and follow IEO, because for me the risk is bigger even though the profit we get can be bigger if the project is successful. Maybe in the future I will focus more on learning new projects, but not for now.
The desire is there, but I don't have much time and experience about it.

Several suggestions of top coins could also be an effective investment decision for anyone of us who may have limited time and experience. That way, we are able to engage the cryptoworld without having to fight for every little project that comes along all the time.

There is a wish to start new projects but this step should probably be taken in future when we will have time and more experience in it. To be with the proven solutions now is to play it safe and secure a good, possibly high, return.

Unfortunately it is very difficult to find people who can share like that according to the expectations. Fundamentally, you, me, every man and woman is has his or her view and feeling of what is done to friends or friends is very worthy or worthless. I have been in a situation like this, a friend whom I think I know so well is not as i expected them to be. Indeed, even though we have done good to others, it does not mean that we will get pleasant treatment, sometimes the reward we receive will be disappointing and sometimes make us regret it.

When they get a profit, they may claim that it is the fruit of their own efforts, but when they get a loss, they will start to say bad things to us and blame us. there are always people like that.

When one can trade and profit, he happily shares it with his friends and at the same time they share their experiences and their predictions with their friends. And that is why day by day huge number of people are attracted to crypto.  And many are losing here too. Because everyone only hears success stories but when they lose nobody tells the story of losing. Due to which most new traders are not aware of the dangerous aspects of crypto trading. And thus they panic and jump into the market and lose huge amounts. So everyone should be aware about the risk of trading and then jump into trading

I can't agree more as getting a good friend who will help you without getting anything else in return is a real blessing and I also have a cousin not friend though who blame me for not telling anything and when I tell him he still blames me for guiding him not correctly although I did guided correctly.

I also don't want to teach those who just want to make noise, spam or blame others don't accept their own mistakes because once they accept their own mistake they won't just trusting you but they will learn more because accepting self mistakes leads us toward more progress.

The most common experience in trading is about loss and making profits, we have to understand the logic behind the reason why some are making money while trading as well as how some of them are losing bets from he same trade, this is all about the trading strategy we have individually adopted, how we are being able to control our emotions on trades even when the market is bearish that there is hope for a bullish move soon instead of giving up.

Indeed, In trading, profits are inevitable but we will also experience losses. The main issue here is often in the tactics we apply as well as how well we deal with feelings when exposed to shifts in market situation. The primary advantage is avoiding the tendency of getting easily overemotional due to market shifts, allowing us to keep optimistic for bullish movements. It also makes us predict long-term solutions more and not quit on existing problems so easily.

         -      If anyone enters trading, you must have a goal, and when you know what that is, the second thing you do is find out how to execute it correctly. And then you must have the characteristics of a good trader; the question is, what is that? You must have self-control and discipline, as well as your emotions; you must control them.

And above all, it is also important that you have knowledge in trading, and you should also know what strategy you will use, and do not use more than two strategies because it may cause you more confusion in the end, unless you really know what you're doing.

To avoid the risk of taking inevitable profits in trading you should plan to buy regularly as it happens regardless of the price. It can be a good decision to go ahead with strategy to reduce your unexpected losses and possibly get average value in the portfolio. You should avoid being over-emotional in order to monitor price movements in the market and get holdings.

In that you are right, sometimes knowing more means knowing more, you have to take into consideration the basics, what you have in mind, I have learned that sometimes what I look for are the candles that have rejection and I operate them, of course the rejection candles, the parity of candles and when it is a trend then I always try to operate at the beginning of the candles, but it is difficult because in a 1 minute time frame sometimes the market makes candles in the opposite direction even though the trend is in the correct direction that we determine can be done, however with few fundamentals a lot can be done, sometimes knowing more gives you more understanding and you can analyze faster, but what is applied is the safest.

We must not be emotional in trading, keep thinking clearly and always focusing on trading. Even though we suffer, we must learn from the defeat and improve the strategy that we use in the future in order to get the advantage to reduce the losses previously suffered.
Likewise trading and we cannot be separated from mistakes, but from that mistake we will learn to be more skilled.

Well, Trading demands patience and attentiveness, because, being in a hurry, you only spoil everything. But I think that, even with the losses, it can be an excellent time to review the strategy and improve it for the progress in future. Failures are inevitable, and each of the mistakes made make us wiser to be a more credible trader.
