Currently bitcoin price is at $59,559 and I got some local news in a radio station where someone was saying about currency that it would be hit around nearly 70k this period before this month close. I was like he is speaking about bitcoin on radio after what the government is dealing with people associating selves to cryptocurrency.. anyway, that is the reason I created this topic.
The major reason was to see very from various poster here why this statement is true that bitcoin would hit 70k before the month of September closes itself.
Well, to me I don't really believe that Month of September would be so nice to bitcoin after checking from historical data and it seems to be the worst month ever in bitcoin history. But whatmore, things are actually happening and who knows we would see Bitcoin hitting ATH before halving and of course no one believes and we never thought of this before so what else do you think would likely happened this month. Above 70k or below 70k?
Floor is open for discussion.

In mid-September, the price of Bitcoin has also started to break through $60k and anything can happen and is not tied to the previous trend.
Being above $70k or below this year will only depend on how the trend is going, If there is a lot of positive news and Bitcoin's rise is supported by better mass adoption it will be the next upswing.
And also waiting to see how the US presidential election will affect it, if Trump is elected, this will be the main benchmark for Bitcoin's rise in 2024.
But anything can happen overnight, just be prepared with your spare money and already fill your bag more.

In the other community, I voted that we could be in a sideway patterns up to $65,000. But I could be wrong though, as in the last days or so, we have seen the price really going up about $60,000. So it's really hard to predict whether we can continue to go and reach $65,000 or reach $70,000.
So I would say that everything is possible, again as we have gain some momentum. However, seeing a + green for this month is already an accomplishment, regardless of what price it could be. At least with that, we have broken the curse of the month of September as being bad for us historically.

the election will still be on november still pretty much a lot of days for the market to go in any direction if trump wins we might see some boost but if by november and bitcoin is still below $60k then we might not see a new ath just from the election alone
people expected that september was gonna be the month of the new ath but i think it could just be december

If it is breaks $73,072 then we are going reversal but if it keeps on pushing below $54,018 then there will be continuation of down trend which is for me very obvious for us it it touches one of those price ranges. But since you are asking about the remaining days, all I can say is that no one knows but for me I think it will continue to pullback then retrace again.

Speaking about future talks then this is something that i dont really that make myself get stressed out in terms about on the future things that could happen on which we know that this is something that cant really be predicted. It might look like bullish but it did turned out to be that having that dumping market. This is why i dont really make those kind of fixed
prices or assumptions because if it wont happen then it will really be just that bringing out some huge disappointment and this is something which isnt really that
giving that good feeling.

I might be optimistic for the whole year not only for Bitcoin but for the whole crypto market, but Bitcoin surpassing $70,000 "THIS MONTH" is almost impossible.
Yes, we've seen things that didn't happen in the past like the surpassing of its previous ATH a few months ago, but what are the chances that it might happen again in the remaining days of September? Realistically speaking, Bitcoin will end the month below $70,000 and add also the fact that Bitcoin during the month of September in the past 11 years has an average of -4.7%. On the flip side, October would be a bullish month most of the time and I believe that we will see Bitcoin starting to increase its price in the remaining months of the year.
Nevertheless, I'm bearish for this month just by basing on the history, and that's good since I can have the opportunity to buy more Bitcoins. :)

The price should close below $70K in my opinion. The current price trading is within the range of $53-59K since the beginning of this month, I feel the highest tendency it will have this month is not exceeding $65K if at all it’s going to pump more before the end of the month. Bitcoin has made lots of surprises to us since the beginning of this year, it won’t matter if September is always the worst month in the bitcoin cycle, it may be different this time around as a lot of things had changed around the space. We may as well see it crossing the $70K by end of the month as we still have about two weeks more which is enough for bitcoin to make that big move. The results are uncertain though, so it’s still okay whatever results that comes out from the market.

If the guy speaking is a random guy, then he has nothing to lose, but if he is a seasoned and trusted trader and analyst, then he is putting his reputation at risk.
The hardest to predict is the exact price at the exact time, you have to be an accurate seer or come from the future to accurately predict that, The market is so volatile that no one can bet and predict the right price at the right date, people can only speculate.

Yes, always be wary of the propaganda that could happen and use Bitcoin as a tool for campaigns and yes this is not the main factor but it may be temporary. Just need to see how the results will be after the election is held,

It could be September, October, November or December, or maybe next year, this is still uncertain, and the trend is still changing.

if I think that the market will wait for the results of the US presidential election, but this is just an assumption because it seems that investors are not interested in buying bitcoin in large quantities in September. I think this month is a good time to buy potential coins.

I think for this remaining month of September, Bitcoin will still hover around $58k-$63k, I don't see any positive news moving its price to $70k.
I have learned one thing about Bitcoin: to stay at a particular range of price for months before it moves to another benchmark. It's possible that $58k-$63k will last till this month end, next month we can be looking at a price of $65k-$75k

Today, I see the crypto market is getting better and better. We have passed the new moon, and we are in the second week. Usually, wouldn't the price in the market tend to go up in the 3rd week? I hope it will really get better again for the next 2 weeks. Even if it drops, it might just be a market correction, but not too much like before.
We are almost approaching the 4th quarter of 2024, usually the market will be more crowded in Q4. It might be different every year in terms of cycle, but it could happen again for the market to return to a positive trend again to welcome the bullrun next year, right?

Yes that is it people can only predicts and speculates towards coin but aren't that certain of what would happened and this speculation are for the purpose of the previous past history. Just we do reference back to the historical data of bitcoin with that it gives us more light and enlightenment to know easily detects what would be the future price but yet aren't still sure if that would happened because the market is too volatile.

Are you referring to the shape of the moon or another term related to the Bitcoin chart? Are you sure there is a correlation between how crypto price moves based on which week we are in? I don't really notice it. Most of the time people refer to the 4-year market cycle where we start from a bear market and end with a bull market, and so on. I guess the monthly bull/bear chart is interesting data, but I'd not rely on them if I wanted to make a risk-averse trading decision.
I'd still collect sats regardless of where we end up at the end of this month. I guess it helps that I don't have a specific price point to sell my BTC or being pressured to get profits quickly. This reminded me of when people predicted that ETF would make BTC soar, then we got a few months of downtrend and people panicked so quickly.

I didn't still sense that possibly of bitcoin move much up higher because September is not that month that quickly surge bitcoin price that roughly but if we talked about maybe December and January then fine, there are massive speed of growth within these periods then boils down to main bull run. Yes I still agreed with you that Bitcoin won't exceed 65k this month if there's positive news to propelled the price above little higher.

I think this month bitcoin can reach $65K, let's just wait because currently the price of bitcoin has reached $60K and it is likely that next week there will be a good movement from bitcoin. Let's see it will happen..

Bitcoin price at 70k is not unreasonable. It's prices tend to rise especially towards the end of the year, but not always in the same way that Bitcoin will continue to do so. Any kind of change can happen at any time. Recently, various types of news are coming around the American elections, but here there are more positive news. In particular, we know that Trump has been particularly supportive of crypto. Every time there is an election, the price of Bitcoin fluctuates a lot. If Trump wins the election, the price of Bitcoin will be even higher. And there are still about 15 days left of this month Bitcoin price is slowly increasing so we can expect Bitcoin to reach 70k by next 2nd week if there is no negative news appear in the market.

Thank you very much for creating your excellent post. Because we saw that crypto currency market is little down. So that we also see that bitcoin price is little down now. But i think that gradually it’s price will increase. Because we know that when bitcoin price will be high, then gradually crypto currency market will be high. So i also agree with you, because i believe that before end of this month bitcoin price will increase near in $70k.

Yes, I also don't think September will be a good month for Bitcoin, most likely we will see another market decline, but that doesn't worry me because these fluctuations are normal in the market.
According to the latest analyses I've read, Bitcoin needs its final jump within 3-4 months, after which its dominance will decline and open the way for altcoins. This means that we probably won't see a significant rise in Bitcoin before the end of the year.
In the end, these are all analyses and there are many variables in the market that can overturn all these analyses, so we just have to wait and watch.

So far for a week, market condition is getting stronger. We can see after the market drop last month, in the end it really rose again last week and until now it is still at that rate. And maybe it will rise again because after rising yesterday, there was no drastic decline. It means that they still has a much bigger chance for crypto prices to rise higher past $62k maybe next week I hope this month it can pass $65k.
This will also depend on the news factor, one of them. as long as there is no bad information or FUD, then at least it will really get better. unless suddenly there is FUD again, it will be much worse.
-
As I am writing this, BTC stood at the $58K level though I can sense some momentum for it to get back to the $60K zone soon and maybe stay along this price level for the next few days...leading us to the end of the month. August and September are not really good months for the crypto industry as a whole affecting many leading coins in the market. Now, will Bitcoin be able to kick the $70K fence this month? I don't see that happening, sorry. And I would already be so happy if BTC can soon be at the $65K level and stay there until October 1. Hopefully though we can see a better crypto market next month...which many call as Uptober.

We can only think and guess, but if we analyze the entire market and the news that has come out and will come out soon, then as far as I know, there should be growth in alkcoins, including bitcoin, which should start growing by the end of this month, time will tell, but the market mood should be bullish.

While we can only predict and guess based on the available data, a thorough analysis of the market and current news can provide a clearer picture. Monitoring market trends, news developments, and general sentiment can help us make more informed predictions. If there are positive indications and market sentiment is bullish, this can be a good sign for the growth of altcoins and Bitcoin.
However, it is still important to be careful and not rely on a single source of information. Combining different types of analysis and constantly updating our knowledge of the market will help us make better decisions. Time will tell whether the predictions are accurate or not, so be ready to adapt to changes that may occur.

Why do you think will happen? What exactly is the driving force behind this?
Personally, I don’t think bitcoin will hit the $70k mark this month again - the only
Thing I currently see pushing the price of bitcoin up is the us presidential election and what the contestants have to say concerning bitcoin (if they happen to mention it) aside from that I don’t think we should be expecting anything more. The price might struggle to reach $65k but hitting $70k is not in my expectation - this is just my speculation.

You say everything correctly and look in the right direction, but it all does not end with the American presidential elections, I agree with you that this is very powerful news, but it is one of many, of which there are many, I do not analyze all this, I am now just observing and listening to advice from those whom I consider smart in this matter, in general, the majority are bullish, I can’t say specifically about the price of Bitcoin 70 or 65k, we’ll see.

I think it's not going to hit the $70k target there is no historical data that makes this month more bullish and there is no bullish news either elections for US presidents are in November, and FTX can announce payment anytime which in my opinion is a bullish news if they will pay in fiat. I don't know any other technical reasons for BTC to touch $70k.
These remaining days are not so bullish for BTC we can see the real volatility in the last 10 days of this month, which are not far because these 10 days are most likely to be bullish or bearish and I think these 10 days will be bearish like you said the month has a bad history for BTC.

The US election is likely to be held on November 5. Even if Donald Trump makes a positive comment about Bitcoin, the effect on Bitcoin is not yet visible, but if Donald Trump wins the election, then there will be a huge positive effect on Bitcoin. Because on the one hand, the time of Bitcoin's bull run is early 2025 and on the other hand, the issue of Donald Trump's Bitcoin support is in front. So this time we might see a big bull run if Donald Trump wins the election

I count the election as a catalyst for a bullrun, pushing BTC to the $150K-$170K price zone in Q1 2025. Prior to that, the FED interest rate cut could significantly impact BTC price, potentially pushing BTC price out of the current boring correction wave.
In a recent my prediction, I thought the last half of September would be a recovery period for BTC price to maintain the bullish channel. Currently, I still maintain this view: BTC should recover in September to be able to explode in Q4 with Uptober, Moonvember & Pumpcember ^^
- Bitcoin will soon resume its growth along the parallel channel? (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=323702)

There is no real data or statistical evidence that Donald Trump has that chances to win the election, actually I can't judge because political movement can't be over emphasized since it changes at every slight time, were one would think that is very hard for one to win before then the other wins, the reason why people gives some credits to Donald is his speech towards bitcoin and I am not sure that would be the thing to propel him to win the election by November 5 as you said.

While there are fewer games left, I think its clear that we are going to see the price go even higher because I think it hasnt really stopped yet and I think that at least a 65k is quite possible for this month and we think we are doing fine right now since everyone is buying and increasing the price so it shouldnt really be a problem at all and make some profiit. I know not everyone has the same trust to it but I think worrying about drops makes no sense during this period and we could make a lotof money because we are leading upto the bull period

I also have the same analysis with , we are heading towards a bull period even though we will see several times bitcoin will experience correction but it is likely as you said the price of bitcoin will likely reach $ 65 this month, I think that is a good achievement because the bull season will still be long to happen next year. and hopefully by the end of this year bitcoin can reach a new ATH.

Can't be sure of FTX making payment so soon or that easily, but I don't know how reliable this news could be because most people saying it would take them around 2-4 years to start commencing payment to their users or investors. But this could not have any positive to the market if it doesn't happened within next year to also help to increase the price of bitcoin.

I am also not sure how reliable this news is, but I did not not hear that they will take 2 to 4 years to start paying their users. These all can be rumors and can be real we should wait for official news. I am not an FTX user and I did not lose my funds so I don't care when they will repay but whenever they will it can impact the price of BTC.
If they made payment in bear cycle then users will buy crypto and it will be a great opportunity for them because they will get to buy crypto at lower rates.

Indeed, until now there has been no clarity from FTX or related parties about when they will return the assets to users. And there are also some notes that need to be considered, not all money can be returned, not the gains, only their assets, and there are stages.
However, I am also not sure if it will be returned in the near future. It has been several months since FTX announced that it would return the assets of investors, but until now there has been no clarity. Maybe it will be like MT Gox, it will take several years. It's a shame, even though maybe the assets want to be prepared for the bullrun later.

You know most at times you wouldn't know how they operate and planned to pay back, but from what i am sensing about this people seems they would want to utilized the bullrun and pay exactly to usdt maybe there funds are being stored in bitcoin and when the market bull they could sell to usdt to payout. Well i am not sure of this but for them to meet this could be another modalities to implore to enable them payout million to billion dollar they are owing.

Mt. Gox that happened years back before I got into crypto made distribution to the affected customers this year and we expected soon FTX to pay their customers. There is more to what happened to FTX and SBF than been discussed with the public. A lot of stolen funds and liquidity drained in the exchange before the exchange even collapsed.
Another problem I think they might have is that the representative of FTX are trying to make settlement in value since crypto has increased in value, they have that value to give but many investors want to have their money back in tokens they have invested and SBF is trying to appeal again. With all this, I'm not sure if this exchange is ready to pay the affected people.

Of course, there will be many claims to keep their tokens intact without being paid using stablecoins.
If FTX pays in stablecoins, it will benefit them, especially when crypto prices continue to rise.
While there is a refund to FTX users, it will not change the view of FTX as an exchange with a very bad reputation.
I won't even use FTX even if it's operational again.

If there is confusion about the possibility of bitcoin price, just check the charts and follow the candles.
From what I see, Bitcoin will do well above 70k, but it is not in the remaining 18 days of this month. Let us not get our hopes high but try to remain patient with bitcoin and it's price movement.
High expectations can lead to disappointments'.

I see the same thing and I also predict that bitcoin price will rise above $70K soon, but this may happen next month. 18 days have passed and we see bitcoin is still below $65K. Many investors say that bitcoin will show good progress in November, but I think we will see it in October. So don't worry when we see bitcoin having difficulty rising, because the bullish season has not arrived yet.

Smiles..
Yes you are right actually people put their expectations on bitcoin to break unimaginable record and of course those who invested lately would want everyone single opportunity for the price to break the even records. Like I am also not too that pressured about price increase but as well being optimistic about that something positive would like happened within the period or comes next year.

It's going to be above $70K for sure. We can clearly see what Bitcoin is going on an upward trend now, and things will get chaotic during election time in the USA, so it has the possibility of going up further, but whether that actually happens by the end of the year is still subject to debate.
I only see it going back down if there is more (big) bad news for crypto.

Lot of people have been point at this debate having effects on bitcoin price which I don't actually give positive response as either or without the debate what would happen will definitely happens because bitcoin has been there and has been surviving even without any serious positive awareness from the US government, instead the opposite. But was shocked to see that major interest and focused has began to show face on bitcoin today which is a major points of attraction to US candidate.

US presidential candidate, trump has made transactions with bitcoin, this has a positive impact on the bitcoin market and has made the price of bitcoin rise. Currently, all eyes are on the US presidential election, because one candidate supports crypto and the other does not seem to support crypto. Hopefully trump wins this fight, so that crypto will be brighter next year.

it can be said that a good start to attract real votes by spending bitcoin with burgers, hopefully this is not just because of politics, he supports btc, after he becomes president-elect he will continue to support btc later

Trump does support Bitcoin but who knows he either supports it as a reserve currency or a way of payment. If I'm not wrong then a businessmen like Trump looks Bitcoin more as a reserve currency that might help United States in long run, and could be helpful in combating inflation. However, if he used it to buy burgers or pizzas in order to gain votes then nothing is wrong in that approach.

I know he would support bitcoin and there is every likelihood for bitcoin price to soar after becoming president elect, although this could be other reason why people are giving positive feedback and speculating that bitcoin would hit some specific price level. When automatically become president, this could push so hard on bitcoin price as they said but then what happened if he doesn't win the election as said?
