Title: New Topic feature on Further Education board
Post by: Husna QA on September 20, 2024, 11:38:05 AM
On the Further Education board (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?board=275.0 (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?board=275.0)), I need help finding the New Topic feature.

Meanwhile, the child board below it (Terminology (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?board=162.0)) has a New Topic feature.

I suggest that the Further Education section also provides a New Topic feature so that users can create new topics, especially those related to education about crypto or blockchain, according to the description on the board.

It is temporary turned off until the new concept of this section will be presented. Waiting for admin's decision.

It is better to have a pinned topic for terminologies instead of a child board, as the new terms that may be added annually will be less than 10 new terms, so discussing them in one topic is sufficient.

This is correct and the first thing I thought of sometimes ago. But I didn't find it worth creating a topic for. Now I have seen similar opinion, I have to support it.
You make it a board if anyone can coin a word out of thin air, give the meaning and it will be adopted.
But make it a single thread only when officially updated terminologies are listed.

In addition, terminologies tend not to be discussion topics. So if they are made into separate child boards, then for one term, it will automatically become a separate thread and only have the potential for no one to reply.
