Title: Running a node
Post by: NotATether on September 21, 2024, 10:53:05 AM
Any of you guys running a Monero node? I just started up one a few days ago but I have no clue how to access the RPC commands, you know like bitcoin-cli for Bitcoin. I don't see such a program for Monero.

Primarily I want to find out how much my node has synced by so far and how much time is left. I'm running the CLI version of the node by the way, not the GUI.

I never use the RPC, but there's documentation for it on https://docs.getmonero.org (https://docs.getmonero.org). You probably want to start by reading https://docs.getmonero.org/rpc-library/monerod-rpc (https://docs.getmonero.org/rpc-library/monerod-rpc).
