As a student I would advice you not to go into financial investments like cryptocurrency or forex, I'm not saying it's a bad idea or people don't benefit form these investments but they come with a lot of psychological breakdowns which might affect your studies, it's better to do all of that when your studies is out of the way. As a student you should consider doing other things that won't require finances, like affiliate marketing, drop shipping or sales. Sales is very common, it involves a simple system of working with different people that sell products, all you have to do is take pictures of those products on your social media space then add your profit to the original amount, this is quite an easy way to make money passively. You don't need to put in any money.

As a student don't follow the trend rather follow your likes and eases genuinely and learn a skill and most importantly make sure to become a professional in that field. However to be able to keep up with good grades, it's better to make sure that your skill is an online skill just to make sure it's far more flexible for you to manage. Offline skills are nice too if you become a professional however an online counterpart would offer a wider audience and more flexible working hours which is exactly what you need as a student.
Things like running an E shop, drop shipping and some nice investments are good examples of obvious sources of passive income. The whole internet is is broad and being professional at a skill is most important.

That's very true considering the fact that offline skills require your time abd attention which you can not afford to give because you are a student
Well what do you think about getting a partime job atleast that will fetch us something and doesn't necessarily take up all of our time

Offline skills although depending on the particular one can be leveraged. Maybe as a higher level student. This can be with the understanding of the teacher likewise getting a part time job. But wait ooooh see e depend on the possibility of part time job because e no too dey common I think.
Then with all the offline possibilities, online can also be fully integrated. Ranging from graphic design, marketing to even writing and so on... Online fit even go along side with schooling, part time jobs or skill acquisition but it depends anyways on resolving the challenges behind online business /jobs.. Which is getting a direct connect or guidance not just trial by errors..

It depends on the kind of job but I think online part time job is still very cool because it is more flexible. However, if you offline job too ia good and that's if you have a good understanding with your Boss. One needs a skill in this country to survive based on thw current hardship wether you are a graduate or not. Freelancer should be helpful.

Before getting a part-time job there are several things you should consider first, like how good am I academically? Will I be able to keep up with with academic work and still do some part time job alongside? Will I be mentally able to do this type of task? And lastly the department you’re in - there are some departments that are way less stressful than others; if you’re in one of those then you might consider doing a part time job but if you’re in a stressful department with lots of workload then I won’t advice you to take a part time job.
Remember the primary reason you’re in school is for you to get your certificate - they’ll always be time for you to make money as long as you’re in a lucrative department - don’t for the sake of money miss both your certificate and money.

Part time jobs and gigs too are nice ideas. Free lancing can be quite flexible especially for someone like a student who needs flexible working hours. Offline jobs are nice too though the slight problem a student would likely face is how to make his working hours flexible and sometimes for an offline job, working hours may clash with study hours which can be quite unproductive in the end that's why most students prefer online ones.
I think the whole concept behind making passive income is easier from the Idea of having a business or a brand of sort. Jobs too it quite uncommon conditions can generate passive income too but I think business running cuts it better. Never the less all should be fine as long as you dish out quality.

If our country wasn't like this I would have say that one should focus on learning aspect and leave money for now , but that would be somehow. Because this economy is getting tougher each day , and nah who dun eat well dey read because most student at school also have younger siblings their parents are still Taken of and this time around even an average family is still struggling to survive so having , something that will help you with some passive income will help to reduce the stress for the parents and same time will help the student to Able to take care of some personal expenses. Having an online skill would be nice at time like this but never forget your primary goal which the certificate, but always have a backup skills e get why...

If every student were to focus on their studies alone, then we should be asking how much are the parents earning from their jobs whether it be a government work or private. Students don't only go to school to learn, but to spend money as well. If a child attends a suppose school that is free, then you should be asking for the numbers of quality teachers that are present. The importance of money should not be underated, especially in an economy that isn't improving. Like I keep saying, almost everyone deserves to live a better life in this country, but some individuals are shifting it to one part of the country.

As a university student what are legit means we can use as a means of passive income
There're many skill to pick from online, offline or both, among the most common are those who venture into real estate or doing other businesses within the school, like working in a cybercafe part-time, selling materials, offering tutorials and the likes.
While there're so much more including the fact that there free online courses for majority of the online skilled like programming, web development, digital marketing, salesforce admin and the likes. You don't really need to pay for a course online if you're not financially capable for paying just get your necessary device more likely pc and constant data connection, then you're good to go.

As a university student what are legit means we can use as a means of passive income
As a student, there are many legit means you can earn from but that will still depend on the risk involved in them. Some are less risk and can be considered to take part on while most are risky and you need to stay away from them. You should also know that the cryptocurrency investment and trading are a good way of passive income but they require more and more knowledge and are on the high part of risk than you can imagine it. Talking about bitcoin investment, they can be less risky but require long time periods to start benefiting from them which is not a sustainable passive income for students. Learning physical handwork are great but getting engaged online is better as a student, it paves way to more learning and exposures to the technological world which we are into now.

As a university student what are legit means we can use as a means of passive income
As a student in a higher institution in Nigeria, you require two skills: one is a temporary skill to fetch you income for your basic needs, and then a long-term skill that should be able to earn you enough income after you're done with university education. One of such temporary skills you could learn as a university student, is drop shipping. Drop shipping as a business is helping a lot of students in school to earn passive income from selling items, linking up consumers to producers. Find an item that you could sell, and you are certain people around you and in your contact will patronize, then seek a supplier who can supply these products to you on demand, and then start selling.

Also as a student you need money at every week.to settle things so if you can lay your hands.im any physical business if there is money. You can sell men and boys things.in the school.if you can do that. Just tell your friends and sometimes carry some of your goods to school and show them. And I believed you can make profit from there weekly. And when you have gotten good amount then you can invest in cryptocurrency. But at first you have to secure inflow income first before crypto investment.

Yeah, clothing and perfume selling happens to be a very common and easy business on campuses, and I think the social media has been a helpful means to promoting their service rather than moving the available goods to different locations to show case them. And students who are more flexible and knows how to relate well with others are mostly those that ends up getting a good number of customers, and we all know of the benefits of having good number of customers that genuinely likes your service or what you offer.

Yeah that's true however like always the ecosystem is actually getting flooded with newer vendors by the day. With that being said, it's possible to generate passive income from such kind of business however it requires a nice level of planning and strategy to be able to pull it off. To generate passive income you literally do all the work preset and earn the dividends over a long period of time it's a little similar to investing though they are different.
An example of a situation of generating passive income from a business like that is creating your own ecosystem let's say you have a supplier you buy very cheap from and you have distributors who sell for you. Now all you need to do is place your orders and the distributor disburse the goods to the buyers and then you get your cut without having to stress yourself marketing or advertising.

Being self dependent is what most students want, but the question is, how many of them can work their way towards it?. Personally, I have great respect for students who are financially independent and decisive, especially those who are into random tech related stuff that provides for them. The interesting part of it is that, some of these students even earn far more than what their hardworking parents earn, which I think should be how a normal society ought to be, and not having a student or graduate that's suffering even with the level of knowledge he/she has gotten from school. And other thing is that we currently live in a society where those who are rich are more important than those that are educated. The whole system is choked up, so students shouldn't be stranded in the name of education.

That's true. Being financially independent is very important especially in a decinclining economy like this. It's no new thing that white collar jobs are actually beginning to sound like fairy tales in the ears of most students and of course it isn't supposed to be so. Although the school system wasn't created to make money however it seems like the importance isn't appreciated much in the society any more.
People often talk about self employment even now and then but the question is can you actually manage and grow it to that extent? Business management seems very profitable especially because of successful business persons out there however it isn't as simple as most people think. Passive income is definitely not something you can achieve with a salary paying white collar job.

You’re right on point. The fact that they are students should give them heads up and make them think critically on how to make money via the internet and possibly earn more than their parent. Though sometimes the two can’t possibly go together and I mean achieving both with great results. Student who are independent are likely to not suffer from this current economic situation we are in right now. Surviving in this country without a job or a soft skill or even multi tasking yourself is a bit difficult.

As a student, it's challenging to balance work and academic responsibilities, because you are a student and you need time to study, and you can not put all your attentions, energy and effort on work, you also need to be dedicated to your desire.
While being a working student can be manageable, having a full-time job can be detrimental to your studies. It's essential to prioritize your education and allocate sufficient time for studying. Remember, as a student, your primary objective is to acquire knowledge and skills to attain your long-term goals and that is why you are schooling to achieve your goals. so you need to put more efforts on your study to meet your goals. To balance work and studies, you can consider part-time or flexible jobs just as some people suggested, a part-time job that will accommodate your academic schedule. This will allow you to focus on your goals and dedicate the necessary effort to achieving academic success.

We often say that there are numerous ways to earn money online, but only when you start looking for one do you realize how hard it is to find a remote job. I am aware that some jobs can be done remotely, but sometimes it takes a lot of work before you can begin making money on the platform.
What is common are ponzi schemes that will require you to make referrals before you can earn and most of the times it turns out to be a scam. Genuine sources are not always easy to find, and even when they are, earning money from them requires a significant amount of commitment and some students may not be able to combine it with schooling.

Well considering the current state of the economy there so many legit me for earning passive income. The most reliable is cryptocurrency, one thing about crypto is that if you buy a coin and leave it. it passively begin to earn for you most especially when the value of the coin begins to increase without any kind of work or effort from you. Another is publishing of books on Amazon. You can simply employ a ghost writer who will write for you and when you get paid in USD, because that is what you would be paid in, you can simply share it and pay some amount to the ghost writer and then keep the rest, na better update be that, on God

I definitely with this as a student who is in desperate need for funds, Forex or Crypto should be a starting point due to he psychological effect it may have on you as an individual especially when the trade you placed in the market didn't later favour you. And also crypto or forex isn't a get rich scheme it requires patience and when one lack this, I don't think he or she should even consider cryptocurrency.

I think what you write here is the main reason why some newbies come into crypto and after their first few tries they get frustrated and then quit the crypto community tagging it as a scam - if a newbie should read this post of yours they’ll most likely think that all it takes in the crypto space to survive is for them to just buy a random coin and hold while expecting a x1,000,000 from it - it takes more than that, if you just buy blindly you’ll most likely fall into rug projects and instead of making profits you’ll instead become a victim of scam.

As a student there are numerous ways one can financially be stable and be doing well. One of of the them is publishing on Amazon KDP, one doesn't have to be a writer at all before he or she make publications, there are ways of going about this. Another reliable way is Affiliate marketing, so many sees this to be a scam, but that is no the case, do you know that with Affiliate, you can start earning in foreign currency, it is infact one of the most trusted and tested

The school environment especially the university environment is an environment with a lot of opportunities so it's a function of you looking out for areas in the school that is lacking or having problems because one thing that you should know is that any where there is problem that problem has also a potential benefit because your ability to become financially stable is in your ability to solve problems, just watch out for any opportunity it could be that you are running tutorials for students that are not too good in class
