When you can control your dreams, you are less stressed and better able to solve problems.
Lucid dreaming allows you to do this! I did it as a child in grades 4-6. then I lost it at puberty.
Now I am using the remee mask, but I don't like "timer" feature - I'd rather have a mask that detects my REM before starting.
Anyone else into lucid dreaming?

I tried doing this for years and it never worked for me. Tried so many methods and I can't seem to control any dream at all. That being said, I'm aware that I'm dreaming most of the time after doing those exercises, so I guess it does affect me. I believe listening to binaural beats is good even if you don't plan to lucid dream. Have you tried that or do you prefer other methods?

Also, I am interested in what is lucid dreaming because I haven't experienced where you can control your dreams and also what is the use of that remee mask and how does it helps in lucid dreaming I have so many questions.

Well, I had my time with lucid dreams and astral projection stuff, I never got it to work but anyhow even if I were able to.. my mind is filled with negative stuff poured down since childhood that I'd probably create nightmares than anything good and I always feared whether I'll be able to keep control of dream and not let intrusive thoughts intrude and create a bad dream.

Although I've not really tried none of these, lucid dreaming or astral projection, but I've actually read a few stuffs about it. Yes, having a mind filled with negativity can actually obstruct your inner energy, making it pretty difficult or even impossible to grasp. Rather than assuming control of your dreams, the only thing that'll show up would be those dark stuffs from your childhood and that's understandable. If you're still interested in giving it a try, you could first try out a few activities to flush away those negative energies through meditations and stuffs like that, and replace them with positive ones. Perhaps you'll get better results.

Lucid dreams are my worst moments in this life. I have being having it since I can ever remember a thing when I was growing up. Till date, it does happen to me and I don’t like it at all because I can’t seem to control it and don’t like how I feel when it comes around, those are my worst nightmares. Having those dreams scare me off not to even sleep again even when I’m feeling sleepy because when I go back to bed it continues. Those times i feel are not the right time for me to sleep. How annoying it is, and I don’t know how to control or stop it so I still live by it whenever it comes.

i hear that it does require some effort to fully control your dreams it seems really scary and dangerous if you are not very experienced yet because some people have physical real life reactions from dreams it seems attractive if you only count the happy dreams but once we are unable to control the dream it might become quite terrifying and traumatic

Going lucid can be interesting but scary too, this depends on who. The mindset behind dreams and dreaming is also a big factor that determines if lucid dreams will happen. Being intentional and interestingly open minded to have lucid dreams can do wonders. This doesn't undermine other approaches.
Taking charge of that fear in the dream makes sense and helps too. Sometimes you won't even know that the discussion you are referring to was made in the dream because it was so comprehensive that you didn't even wake up, continued in it and arise from sleep freely without taking note that you had a dream

I don't think you are describing a lucid dream. In a lucid dream, you know you are dreaming. Could you be suffering from Sleep Paralysis?

I don't think you are describing a lucid dream. In a lucid dream, you know you are dreaming.
I managed this sometimes, not complete control, but I quite managed to direct the dream in a direction that was more pleasant for me. As far as I know, it depends a lot on daily habits, events that happened during the day or possibly if I expect something big the next day when I wake up.
Now I'm not even sure if this control made anything easier for me.

Can you explain if this works at all?

Once you turn it on, the Remee mask waits a couple hours then starts flashing LED lights on a cycle. The idea is if you are dreaming, you will eventually recognize these flashing lights, giving you god like powers in your dream.
A better mask (which I cannot find) would detect the rapid eye movement signifying you are dreaming before activating the LED lights. There was one on kickstarter once, but I don't think there was enough demand. Education and marketing could really help; Lucid dreaming is incredibly therapeutic and stress relieving. :)

You can recreate any environment you wish; visit anywhere in the world or even out of this world; make love to your favourite movie star; practice a recital you have tomorrow; or just simply, fly. It's an exhilarating feeling which leaves you with the most profound sense of freedom.

I can vouch for that. :D Because I'll always do to get laid when I can't so yeah it's stress relieving for sure.
Lucid dreaming occurs to 20% of the people naturally but it's only possible on its own or until now cause this is I am realising it can be induced in someway. Can we find a shark to invest on this idea and turn them into multi million dollar business.

Totally really depends on a certain individual yet we do have our own approach on how we would gonna deal up with things on which it would really be that entirely be basing up
whether we would really be going with the flow or would really be trying out to oppose it. As for negative ones then it would really be just that right that you should really be
avoiding it as much as you could and replacing them into something positive on which we know that this would really be that something helpful.

Hm, Sounds like the next gadget on my list :)
Based on your experience, how effective it is?

Lucid dreaming come and go once in a while and sometimes it is something that you are thinking about on that day or something that you are about to do in future. I have experienced it several times and sometimes, i control it especially when I know that I am dreaming in my dream. If it is a horrible dream that is beyond my control, I know that I am dreaming so I will force myself to wake up. And if it is what I can control, I try to control it. When I wake up. I adjust what I was supposed to do, so that my dream doesn't play out in reality.

I'm surprised to see that Reeme masks are quite popular on one of my regular marketplaces. The price is quite competitive unless I buy the mask directly from the website with a steep discount. Some are selling them for less than $50, not sure if it's a legit one though. I didn't realize that lucid dreaming is quite popular in my country, most of these products are sold out as of now.

Lucid dreaming has plenty of benefits, image you being conscious while you sleep, that would improve your self development a lot.
There is some exercises that you can do to help you with lucid dreaming.
One of them is before you go to sleep remember your day in detail since you woke up - once you wake up it will be easier to remind you about what you have dreamed.
During the lucid dream you should never take advantage of something, if you want to take advantage you will loose the ability of lucid dreaming - be an spectator do not let your ego intervine.

I have not been able to recognize lights yet, probably because I'm not in REM sleep when the timer goes off. This mask is best used on those who have a regular sleep schedule. A mask that detects REM would be infinitely better!

This is not true.

I rarely dream. Talk more about being in a dream and having control of the dream.
Many times, I have been forgetful in a dream, not remembering a single thing of what conspired in my dream whether I was in control of it or not. What I do know is that I had a dream but I can't remember what scenario played out in the dream.

Lucid dreaming occurs when a person is aware that they are dreaming while in the dream state. Moreover, this dream interpretation allows one to control certain things in one environment. We change all the time by making decisions. When you transmigrate you are moving your consciousness into a different reality and experiencing things as if you were a part of it. The shift in reality has been described as more intense than lucid dreaming, although a stray thought will spoil the experience without causing any harm. As it happens you can smell a certain amount but it's still a dream, you haven't actually moved. Anyway dreams can seem very real yes, but make sure you know the difference between dreaming and actually changing your consciousness.
