Title: Web3 vs Web2: What's the difference in data privacy?
Post by: Yinkcrypt on October 06, 2024, 05:12:59 PM
I've been exploring various platforms focused on user data, particularly how it's used, shared, and owned. To me, the key difference between Web3 and Web2 lies in freedom and ownership.

Unlike Web2, Web3 prioritizes giving users control over their data, ensuring they can choose what to share and keep private. I've come across several projects addressing this issue. What are your thoughts on data privacy in Web3?

web 3 is focused on decentralization and allowing for an individual to manage his or her information without the interference from central authorities crypto basically is the result of web 3 focusing on decentralization and blockchain technology

as we can see with how crypto community is growing we can expect for web 3 to fully be adopted as well i see many projects starting to shift focus in privacy and user protection

It will not only be good for crypto, but for all aspects of our lives. The selling of our data over the internet in web2, sometimes unknowingly, is insidious. Web3 enables us to have better control of our internet lives.

Actually the web3 which we are talking about isn't fully developed but I think with new projects like CARV alongside its league, we will definitely get there in no distant time in my humble opinion.

As an ardent supporter of web3 in the crypto space I always invest in them like Chainlink & now looking forward to CARV should it get listed on Bitget among others.
