Will Bitcoin hit $85,000 by 2024 with the volatility that has started in the Bitcoin market? Meanwhile, by the end of 2024, we have made many assumptions about the Bitcoin market. Depending on the current price scenario, the question is can Bitcoin surpass $85,000 by 2024? What do you think, spread your predictions here.

It is always curious that there is a fixed range for discussion, the most feasible reality is that we have a new ATH, that is how I see it, I think that before the end of 2024 we will set, for the first time, two ATHs for the same year of the Halving.

As for me and with the way things are right now in the world of cryptocurrency and in the global geo-political landscape, I am not seeing the possibility for BTC to get as high as $85K before the year ends - it would even be a big miracle already if there can be a new ATH before 2025 will enter the scene. Usually, December is not a very good month for Bitcoin as more and more hodlers might be cashing in for their holiday expenses...and usually investors are getting their focused away from Bitcoin. I can be wrong though. Now, am more pinning my hope with the entrance of 2025 which may bring new and refreshing energy to the market most especially if Trump will be inaugurated in January 20 in the White House.

Two possibilities:
a) it will
b) it will not
Also a question, why 85k?

Usually, December is not a very good month for Bitcoin as more and more hodlers might be cashing in for their holiday expenses...and usually investors are getting their focused away from Bitcoin.

Two ATHs happened in late November and December, 2013 and 2017 respectively, so it can't be ruled out!

Maybe the price of 85K before the end of this year is a reasonable price, but this geopolitical atmosphere will end before December or will get worse, we also have to think about this. because if Donald Trump loses and the Iran-Israel war gets bigger, then the price of Bitcoin will likely fall by the end of this year. but don't worry, because the bullish season is still long. it will happen next year.

many people expect bitcoin to reach $100k even before 2025 i will not rule it out but since we have not yet even reached $70k these past few months it would seem like $100k would be possible at early months of 2025

now $85k seems more realistic i do think that a new ath will be achieved by december maybe earlier but safe bet would be by the end of the year and it could might as well be $85k

Whatever theory you have, I hope 85k is a sweet number for the end of 2024... there are two months left and I should be optimistic that it will be something sweet by the end of the year.

Who doesn't like the sweet possibility? I think everyone here agrees that if BTC price goes up, then the next ALTSEASON comes... it will be like payday for all of us who hold cryptocurrencies. I can't predict accurately, but I pray that the new ATH will happen before the end of this year.

Personally, I don't rule this out, I don't rule out that Bitcoin will reach $85K or maybe beyond in December, especially since I witnessed the first Bitcoin peak in December 2017. I was just starting out in the crypto world and it was a great time.

But given the variables that could arise during this period, such as the tensions in the Middle East that threaten a regional war, as well as the US elections, we may not see the peak until the beginning or during the first quarter of the new year.

Once we break the $73k levels, no one can predict the future direction of the price, as the rise of $10k will be fast and in less than a week. Therefore, $80k-90k will not be a stable price for the market and we will see higher levels.

All I know for now is that the bull run is not yet over. You can still hold your coins till 2025. If bitcoin does not reach all-time high in the remaining days of this year, be expecting it to occur in 2025. But we also have to be very careful because 2025 can also be the start of bear market but that will not happen without the bull run first occurrence.

Bitcoin price is likely to reach $85,000. But there are various guesses as to when it will reach that stage. Some believe that the price of Bitcoin will not exceed a new ATH this year, while there are others who think that Bitcoin will get another ATH by 2024. Market conditions and investor confidence are now at positive levels but it may drop below that level at any time. If the recent conflict between Israel and Iran becomes more serious, the price of Bitcoin could fall drastically. But if that doesn't happen then we could see a bull market in Bitcoin this year. It is also believed that if the market does not grow this year for some reason then we will be able to see a big bull run next year.

The charts is reacting in the not usual wayso it's highly likely that it's going to reset it's momentum in few weeks and will hit more than 70k again and maybe we'll reach up to 85k before the year end after all it's always a bull market in yultide season.

Your only hope is about your alt coins, whether their price are also pulled up by BTC trend. Even just 25% increment seems very hard to see.

I, too, wonder why $85k was chosen specifically. Before, we were throwing wild numbers around like $90K, $100K, $120K, even $150K and $200K, but this seems a bit unusual.

Unless a technical analyst specifically identified this number to be some sort of resistance where the moving averages collide, then I'm going to think that OP pulled this number from a random news article.

The current price of bitcoin is now 61k$ Expecting bitcoin price to rise in few months. For now we see no other option than to wait. It is thought that by the middle of next year the bitcoin market may touch $85,000. I thought.  Now I will invest some money in bitcoins and sell them when it hits $85,000. I am waiting to buy bitcoins when the bitcoin market gets dumped. Let's see what happens in the bitcoin market.

         -       When that happens, it's likely that all the top cryptos in the market will also increase in value, and that's a good sign. And also according to the history of bitcoin during the bull season, the price value of bitcoin is in a rally all month of December.

And probably the same is likely to happen this month of December of this year. And I hope it actually happens because that is exactly what the holders want to happen.

$85K to me for bitcoin is a realistic price by end of December and I see many signs why it would reach that point by end of 2024. The all time high of bitcoin that was hit early this year before the halving took place was $72K and with the difference between that price and $85K is very small that it can hit that point. We are just few numbers away from there when bitcoin reaches the all time high again. When a breakthrough happens, and that resistance is been broken, we will definitely hit that price by end of the year.

A bit curious as to why $85,000 and not $100,000.

Anyway, as much as I'm optimistic with Bitcoin, I don't think that it will reach that price at the end of the year. I believe is the majority of the price increase of Bitcoin will happen towards the 1st quarter of next year, and my prediction for the price of Bitcoin this year is that, it might just retouch it's previous high of around $73,000 then it will go down once again. Anyway, anything can happen like what many are expecting, and who knows. I might be wrong with my prediction and I'm happy to be wrong because I can sell my assets at a much higher price. :D

When it comes to prediction of Bitcoin anything is possible and largely depends on the news that's coming to the community, A big news story of hacking of one big exchange can result in the price to dip, and if there's positive news about adoption of Bitcoin expect the price of Bitcoin to surge, but I like the price to move slowly but surely, If things are going the way they are now, Bitcoin could possibly reach $80k or higher. This is just an assumption, and all predictions are speculative.

You just think or you have some solid reasons to believe that it will cross $85k. I mean, why only $85k Why not $90k or $100k? To be honest, the fundamental factors like what's happening in the overall world that have some direct or indirect impact on crypto are most likely to be the only thing all of us are keeping an eye on. Because they are playing a key role at the moment.

I think we might not hit even a new ATH in 2024, I don't have any solid reasons, like any technical reason, but I believe war and other things might not make this happen in 2024. I am not even sure if it's going to happen in 2025. But I learned that the halving event takes a lot of time to impact on the market and the pump we saw before the halving was due to buying pressure which is so obvious to occur so now we can wait for the real impact of the halving which is still cooking.

It is always difficult to guess the price of bitcoin at the end of the year, but some investors believe bitcoin will go to $85K and some even say $100K is still very possible to break.

Currently bitcoin continues to experience corrections and we know October is a good month for the bitcoin market but at the beginning of the month it did not show anything positive, indeed I am not skeptical for now maybe at the end of the month there will be an increase again.

We are all expecting bitcoin price above $85k but not understanding when bitcoin correction will end.  Bitcoin is often seen suddenly dumping huge amounts. Today also suddenly the entire crypto market including Bitcoin started down and the price of Bitcoin dropped to 58 thousand dollars. The crypto market is seeing a lot of volatility. So even though we have confidence in Bitcoin, sometimes we get confused and scared. I can't find any reason to dump bitcoin today do you know why bitcoin is like this today

we don't know what happened in detail, but it seems like this is the impact of the Iran Israel war which caused the price of bitcoin to correct and fall below $ 60K, we don't need to panic because the bullish season will happen next year and there is still time for the crypto market to recover. so keep holding our coins even though they are declining because I am sure that early next year the crypto market will improve again.

$85K seems possible if we don't see more regional conflicts/invasion happening in two to three months. Now that it's becoming more popular, many employees that would be receiving their holiday bonuses/commissions could spend some/more of it on cryptocurrencies.

Honestly, it's possible but a stretch. The crypto market's been pretty unpredictable lately. We'd need to see some serious momentum and investor confidence for Bitcoin to surge that high by December.
I'd say the chances of bitcoin evaluating to such high peak isn't really much,a 30% chance maybe.

I want to believe that we may be above $80k in December. But I have no idea that this really can happen or not. It is getting difficult to predict the price of Bitcoin now. I don't know what scenario that you are saying about Bitcoin to pass $80k. I know the end of the year often gives a big surprise. Even if $85k is possible, I think we don't expect too much.

To me bitcoin will create new ATH by next year being 2025 although I am optimistic that something good still gonna happened but it's under probability, this is Q4 already and this year remaining less than 100 days. If the month of November and December remains bullish then we can say there is everything possible to achieve new All Time High.

$85K to me for bitcoin is a realistic price by end of December and I see many signs why it would reach that point by end of 2024. The all time high of bitcoin that was hit early this year before the halving took place was $72K and with the difference between that price and $85K is very small that it can hit that point.
Yes, this number is quite realistic, especially since the end of the year is usually one of the positions where the price of Bitcoin will start to rise. Yes, let's try to see some time in the future. And hopefully the war situation or others will not have much more FUD, so that all of that can really run smoothly.

The number $ 85k is very much expected, the price of Bitcoin is actually expected to reach $ 100k, but that is at the peak of the bullish era later. And when at the end of this year or in December it can reach $ 85k, that is already a very good start. Will it run smoothly and according to our wishes? No one can guarantee, we just hope, while continuing to monitor market movements.

Yes, I think it will reach $85k if things go well but right now I don't think it will be an easy thing for Bitcoin to reach or cross $80k anytime soon. If Bitcoin somehow crosses $70k mark this month then it will most probably cross $80k mark in December and it might cross $85k mark as well if things go well.

It is very possible that bitcoin will make $85k before the end of this year. I like your projection because it is more realistic than those that project $1million even when we have not seen $100k. But next question is how did you land at $85k, like why not $80k. Any special reasons?

Right, everything is possible in this market, we have seen ups and downs and we never thought that even in 2017, $20k is possible. And that is the beauty of this market, expect the unexpected. Sure, it's very volatile, just like in the last 24 hours we did see the price going down again below $60k. And others might be in the panic mode again. However, in short or at least at the end of this month, we might see a tremendous growth and push it to $85k unexpectedly.

But again, they don't mention why they've chosen 85k specifically but only did an article on the chances of it, probably picked the one that would be the most clickbait-ish or something

According to Bitwise’s head of alpha strategies, Jeff Park, options markets were pricing only a 10% chance of BTC hitting $85K by the end of the year.

There is no accurate answer to this but I think it is very possible but if not my second guess would be in 2025 but if you are referring this year let us wait November because that is where it started then as what others have said break out to previous resistance will tell us the trend.

There year though has many surprises already, like getting a new all time high before the halving itself. And so with that, maybe it's possible that this price can be reach by $85k. And if there are some who believed that if Trump is going to win the election this November, then it's going to be doable. Again, many things could happen today and at the end of the month. Maybe there will be one positive news that will suddenly make investors pour their money on the market to start this parabolic rise and make it at $85k this December.

The market is hard to predict at the moment, it's been either going down or sideways since a few days after we entered the month of October, alot of people expected that by now, bitcoin price should only be green, but just yesterday, the price of bitcoin went down and even traded below $59,000, though the drop was shortlived as we saw that the price started recovering almost immediately, and right now, the price is back above $61,000.

Whether the price of bitcoin will reach $85,000 by December is up to the market to decide, I can't make any predictions at the moment, in order not to give myself, and perhaps, some one else reading, false prediction and hope, I will just keep watching the market do it's thing, and if happens that the price of bitcoin did reach $85k by then, then I will be happy to join everyone else to celebrate cus that a new all time high.

Yesterday, bitcoin have significant dropped under $58,800 as most lowest price but few minutes later success recovering and bitcoin hit above $62,300. Its fastest movement of bitcoin without 24 hours have been reached more than 5% and possibility get consistent raise higher price for hitting above $85k at the end of this year or December.
I am fully believing with bitcoin have positive side for every end year, but waiting will bad news or any war happening in few weeks later will make bitcoin get dump again? Its crucial bit bad news easily make bitcoin get large correction when last week after Iran attack Israel.

If you've been in the crypto market long enough, you'll understand that BTC price can fluctuate dramatically and very quickly. Therefore, any prediction, whether it's BTC reaching $85K or dropping to $58K, can be considered valid and reasonable at that specific moment. Everyone has the right to hold their own opinion and fully bear the consequences of their investment decisions, whether it's a loss or a profit.

I also enjoy making predictions, but I prefer to use price chart as visually as possible. Using parallel channels, I predict that BTC could reach a new ATH around $100K by the end of December, even though it may sound quite crazy at the moment.

It seems that the news of the peang has a negative impact on bitcoin, until finally the price of bitcoin fell to $ 58K, but the current price of bitcoin is back to $ 62K, while the price of bitcoin rose back to near $ 70K, it is likely that bitcoin will reach a new ATH. Let's see next week whether bitcoin moves up or there will be bad news that causes the price of bitcoin to fall again.

Some market makers were arrested on Wednesday by the FBI after they found our these market makers launch coin but at low sell at the top, the were doing this in many project and even those projects were invited, they allegedly conive to make money together that's why Bitcoin price dump to $58k but I think was out of fear by speculators.

I think the only momentum we have right now about Bitcoin is November elections, if Kamala wins, Bitcoin might not go as we expected but if Trump win there is going to be a huge impact on the price of Bitcoin but there could also be some manipulation since it is highly expected event of November.

Hopefully there is no more bad news so that bitcoin can reach a new ATH, because we know that if there is bad news that attacks bitcoin, the crypto market will return to red. but I have confidence that before the end of the year we will see bitcoin reach a new ATH. It may not be far from $ 73K, but for me it is already a good movement.

However, in short or at least at the end of this month, we might see a tremendous growth and push it to $85k unexpectedly.
Well, this market is full of wonders no doubt. But OP is discussing the possibility of 85k before December but you are even projecting before the end of this year. I know that if bitcoin starts moving, 85k can be done within 72hrs, but then, the issue is will it move? Even if it's to move, how are we sure it will move in our desired direction.

That's true the best we can do is speculate and speculate. Bitcoin is a crypto currency and it is obviously very volatile alot of Government actions as well as unnecessary drama can easily cause a shift in price even if in some cases it wouldn't really last for long. Take recent events for example, we were initially already recovered from the pull back when the US government drop news that they decided to move some coins in addition to the drama HBO out on.

Although we've already almost recovered from all these factors, they still slowed price movement to an extent and that's the reason it's difficult to make on point predictions of the $85k pump, like who knows what drama will  be put up next.

Yup, it's from here:
https://ambcrypto.com/bitcoin-to-85k-by-december-16-chance-say-options/
But again, they don't mention why they've chosen 85k specifically but only did an article on the chances of it, probably picked the one that would be the most clickbait-ish or something

Quote
According to Bitwise’s head of alpha strategies, Jeff Park, options markets were pricing only a 10% chance of BTC hitting $85K by the end of the year.
Various speculations related to the price of Bitcoin may indeed have several other speculations that are actually much higher. As for which is right or wrong, it may also depend on several factors later in the month. However, usually at the end of the year there will be an increase in the price of Bitcoin, maybe this will be the beginning of the increase to the real bullrun peak season.

I also found several sources related to Bitcoin will hit around $ 85k in December.
https://ambcrypto.com/bitcoin-to-85k-by-december-16-chance-say-options/

and there are even some that are predicted to reach $ 100k.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/100-k-bitcoin-price-depends-on-increasing-demand-and-favorable-seasonality-crypto-quant

Yes, we just believe what is possible. But stay alert and always check the market for all conditions and don't panic easily in certain situations.

If Bitcoin should continue with this kind of sluggish movement it has for the past two months, fluctuating around $60k-$68k, I doubt if $85k can be possible before the end of the year. However, the remaining event of the year that is giving most people hope in the crypto space is for Trump to win the US election that is coming up so that the market will react positively to that. If nothing of such happen, and Harris wins, Bitcoin wouldn't reach $85k, rather it may reach $75k-$80k

You're right, Bitcoin doesn't move quickly recently. It seems hard to jump to $85k in 2 months if there is no change in Bitcoin price movement. Just look at the price of Bitcoin in the last 2 months, it never reached $70k anymore. Instead of reaching $85k, it always failed to cross $70k.

Yep, it seems only possible to reach to around $75k-$80k. But if we have many good issues about Bitcoin in US, it is not impossible to cross $80k. Nowadays, Bitcoin price is much influenced by the news/issues.

Let's just wait, whether bitcoin is able to reach $ 85K by the end of this year or there will be bad news that will make the price of bitcoin have difficulty reaching a new ATH, because currently there is a war between Iran and Israel, this also has a bad impact on crypto and may also have a big impact on the global economy. and we also hear everyone waiting for the results of the US presidential election which will likely also have an impact on bitcoin.

It seems like bitcoin is having a hard time breaking through $70K, because approaching $69K seems difficult, there have been several news that have caused bitcoin to correct again and it dropped again last week at $58K. So I honestly don't expect much this year, but I hope it will happen next year.

In the $69k area, it is indeed a strong resisten and difficult to break, but Bitcoin is still trying to break it.
Looking at the 1-Week Time Frame, Bitcoin tried to break through the $69k resistance 3 times but was still rejected and now it may be the last chance for Bitcoin to start breaking it by being in the Flip Trend Area.

If the strong Reisten can be broken, I believe the new ATH will be broken and it could reach $85k in the near future, at least in 2025 there will be a new ATH.

Just need to buy and hold it and wait for the bull market to come.

We can view the recent BTC sideways movement as a re-accumulation phase following BTC's rapid ascent from $25K to $74K. The longer this re-accumulation period, the stronger the subsequent price increase tends to be. Given the nearly 6-month lull in BTC price and the overall market, a new BTC bull run could surprise us with a swift breach of the $85K target and a potential push towards higher price regions like $100K, as many investors have anticipated since 2021.

I'd be pretty disappointed if BTC can't hit $85K this year. BTC set a new ATH before the halving and I'm really expecting a strong price surge in 2024 to trigger FOMO in the market, followed by a massive altseason.

We've seen accumulation over the past six months, BTC Spot ETFs continue to see positive inflows, and BTC is primed for a new bullrun. I believe BTC is on track to break out of its current range, set a new ATH, and quickly reach $100K early next year.

The Crypto market as we know can't be given a 100% prediction as there are reasons of price changes, though this was a halving year and we saw a new ATH of BTC, we all hope for a bull run anytime soon but BTC may or may not possibly get to $85K but it may likely reach a new ATH but can possibly be below $85K, let's say something like the range of $75 - $83K this is my own prediction range.. maybe at the end of November or early December, cause the month of December most holders are likely to sell of for holidays...
But in all I am hoping the bull run comes around anytime soon!

I strongly believe in it, that Bitcoin price can reach $85k in December again. We still have more than 2 months, come on, hopefully this really happens and can break through $85k. There are several predictions on the site as well, there are many predictions that Bitcoin will reach the target rate.

However, is the prediction just a prediction> Will there be more positive news that can really boost the price of Bitcoin to that high in December? There may have to be additional factors, and maybe the US election results will have a good effect on the price? Or will there be more FUD that makes the price of Bitcoin very difficult to pass its ATH again?

stay calm, because many people predict the price of bitcoin will reach $85K by the end of this year, although currently bitcoin is still struggling and it is difficult to get back to $70K. But anything can happen in crypto. Let's just wait and see if there is good news or FUD. It could be that the US presidential election will be good news and boost the price of bitcoin if Trump wins the US presidential election but be prepared if Kamala Harris wins, there might be a big correction this October.

If you want to do bitcoin investment then I say now follow DCA scheme and do regular bitcoin investment and if your target is 85k then do this investment in bitcoin until the target price comes. If you do this, your investment will be safe and if not, if you currently invest a huge amount, then keep the long term in mind and then invest because no one can guarantee that Bitcoin will touch 85k in the month of December. However, according to previous history, Bitcoin can start a bull run from December or the first quarter of 2025.

Crypto experts have predicted that the Bitcoin market will record an high bullish run in no distant time but when it'll happen is yet unknown to us. If we're looking at $70k -$75k price mark, I would've said it's very possible but i doubt $85k before the end of the year is unlikely to happen

I saw on Facebook a trader analyzing Bitcoin prices using the moon phase method, and he predicted that the fourth attempt would be the one that would break through the $69k resistance point... the graph is similar to the one you shared, but to believe it depends on each individual

he predicted that at least mid-November 2024 would be the altseason period, followed by Bitcoin prices which are also predicted to soar at the same time...

just sharing what I see, no intention to influence your decisions

Why not? we have 2 months left for this year and December is coming. $85k is a lot but it's not impossible. But to look at that price looks that there should be a massive run that must happen on November up to the early first weeks of December. If it happens by December that's nice but I won't be expecting too much on it and will have to wait until the end of this cycle for which could happen by 2025.

Given that the US presidential election will be held on November 5, the assumption that the market will see increased activity and volatility in mid-November makes sense. However, it should be noted that BTC's dominance is still very high, i.e. it isn't certain that the full-fledged altcoin season will start in November/December this year.

Besides the US elections coming up, October is often a very positive month, where we can hope that the Bitcoin price on the first day of October (example 63.5k) will be exceeded by the end of the month, and that's cool.

I enjoy reading everyone's predictions, but I personally stick to DCA because anyone can be wrong, but the market is always right. DCA provides me with peace of mind, allowing me to focus on other things while still consistently investing.

Q4 is widely considered a favorable period for the crypto market, and I believe we can be confident about upward price movements this quarter. While I can't predict the exact BTC price at year's end, 85K USD doesn't seem like an unattainable target for BTC. Given BTC price fluctuations, 85K USD could even be a target for this Uptober :)

While I can't predict the exact BTC price at year's end, 85K USD doesn't seem like an unattainable target for BTC. Given BTC price fluctuations, 85K USD could even be a target for this Uptober :)
Hmmmm yes your smart way of investing in cryptocurrency is great. You use Dollar Cost Averaging means DCA method to reduce risks. It is wise to know that market can be unpredictable. DCA helps you stay calm and secure. Your hope for cryptocurrency prices to go up in last quarter of the year makes sense looking at past patterns.

Goal of Bitcoin reaching $85000 byend of year seems possible especially if good news boosts market. This period called Uptober might really push Bitcoin toward that goal. However it is crucial to stay careful and flexible.

-snip-
We've seen accumulation over the past six months, BTC Spot ETFs continue to see positive inflows, and BTC is primed for a new bullrun. I believe BTC is on track to break out of its current range, set a new ATH, and quickly reach $100K early next year.
The accumulation that has occurred over the past few months has made bitcoin even stronger and is still holding above $60k and will soon break out of that zone and climb to a new ATH.
and $100k in the next year is still very possible with Bitcoin's increasingly strong and positive trend.

he predicted that at least mid-November 2024 would be the altseason period, followed by Bitcoin prices, which are also predicted to soar at the same time...
Hopefully that will happen and November will also be a good market moment like the previous year.
Altseason is now highly anticipated and waiting for Bitcoin to also reach a new ATH.

If not, it will definitely happen in 2025, and I agree - everybody, most of us, hold our bags to see the green Moon rising up. It's anticipated and the FOMO when the cycle would begin for real will be huge.

Hmm..
Besides the US elections coming up, October is often a very positive month, where we can hope that the Bitcoin price on the first day of October (example 63.5k) will be exceeded by the end of the month, and that's cool.

Yes, however, we started on the wrong foot this October and it had to make a bounce back, right now, the price has gotten over $65k, so that is a big barrier to break and thanks to the bullish investors, in the last 48 hours, the price is really rebounding as expected, so let's see how far this bullish sentiments will go this month.

However, I'm currently investing on DCA, so I'm watching the price only out of interest, and like any crypto, I'll be very pleased to see Bitcoin at 85k in the news soon. That will be a great event, and such miracles are possible on New Year's Eve

Good for you, nothing can beat a good DCA strategy, regardless if you are a average joe or a big whale. So if everything went smoothly, we might see Bitcoin reaching $85k at the end of the year. And if that happens, we are still in track to 6 digits next year as our new all time high for the version of this bull run.

It's definitely hard to predict with Bitcoin’s notorious volatility. Reaching $85,000 by 2024 is possible, especially with past halving cycles often driving the price up, as well as potential institutional investments and mainstream adoption increasing. However, there are always external factors, like regulatory changes and macroeconomic conditions, that could impact the price. Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if Bitcoin approaches or even surpasses that mark, but it's always important to stay cautious in such a volatile market. What do you think could be the biggest factor driving Bitcoin's price in 2024?

Well, so far, for me, I think the biggest factor that is driving, or had droven and possibly drill driving the price of bitcoin this year 2024 is the bitcoin spot ETF  that was approved by the US securities and exchange commission (SEC) during the first quarter of this year, that achievement alone opened a lot of doors bitcoin, specially in the area of trust.

Now, bitcoin can be trusted by alot of high profile individuals who initially were skeptic with the technology and won't get themselves involved. It has also opened the door for institutional investors to come in in their majority to invest in bitcoin.

Personally, I think that aside sentiments and speculations, the ETF approval still have a good chance of acting as a major catalyst that will still support the coming bull run regardless of the fact that bitcoin made a new all time high when the news of the approval was fresh.

I was a bit confused about the price of Bitcoin but the way the price of Bitcoin is currently going, it looks like it will reach a good price by December. That could be upwards of $80,000.  No one can guarantee what the price of Bitcoin will be by December. But it can be assumed that must be given above 75 thousand dollars. Maybe it will be possible. Today, the price of Bitcoin hit around $68,000. Bitcoin price rose to $67950 today.  Looking at this movement in Bitcoin, it is expected that a major Bull Run in Bitcoin will be seen in December or January.  On the other hand, the US elections in December will have a more positive impact on Bitcoin if Donald Trump wins.

Yes, it is very likely the price of Bitcoin to be above $80k in December if the price of Bitcoin can cross $70k in the near future. We need a good hype on the demand of Bitcoin in the market again. If the price can cross $70k again, the investors will be more interested to have bigger number of Bitcoin in their wallets.

In CMC, I see the price almost reached $68k. I think it can be around $69k-$70k in the next few days if there is no dump again. But if there is bad news again, we may have a dump anymore.

The current price of bitcoin has reached $67K, investors believe that bitcoin will soon exceed the price of $70K. But we must be aware of bad news that may suddenly come and make the market red, the price of bitcoin plummets. Because we know that geopolitical conditions are not good and many investors are waiting for the results of the US presidential election. But if the price of bitcoin can exceed $70K, it is likely that by the end of this year we will see the price of bitcoin touch a new ATH at $85K.

If you look at the rapid increase that is currently occurring in bitcoin, the price of bitcoin could reach 85k this year as long as there is no FUD news that makes traders panic in the market. Currently, Bitcoin has even risen to a higher price than yesterday. Namely yesterday bitcoin reached 67k and now bitcoin has reached 68k and seems to be trying to touch the price of 69k. And it looks like the hope of seeing the price of bitcoin at 70k again can be realized this month.

Bitcoin's bullish movement was quite impressive and unexpected. After the uptober movement had initially failed to show, I wasn't expecting it, but it seems it has already started. And as for the FUD, I guess the recent news of Tesla moving all their Bitcoin (worth $760M) to a new wallet was a news that was suppose to cause a little shake, but luckily, we didn't get much impact. If Bitcoin can hit $70K during this bullish movement, then there will definitely be other interesting price discovery now or later.

Well, hopefully we can find the price of 70k this month. and if we can stay at this price for longer then it is possible that higher prices could be seen in the next month, namely November. It's just that we also have to be prepared for all the possibilities that sometimes make the market turn around quickly when everyone has FOMO.

Yeah true. Predictiong prices could be very interesting most especially if you got the right guess where price is heading or even hitting the right amount you've got and what is more interesting is that when you hodl some portions of Bitcoinsyou might also have the higher chance of making great achievements by predicting the right path and at the same time make gains from it.

Many are optimistic about the price movement of bitcoin which is eventually expected to reach 100k. Either this year or maybe I think it's more likely next year. For those who hold quite a lot of bitcoin, they will definitely hope that this actually happens this year or next year. But for those who haven't finished accumulating bitcoin, they will definitely hope that the price of bitcoin doesn't fly too high. Because they still want to add bitcoins back to their wallet. And we know that many institutions are still accumulating today.

Yes Brother you told perfect, no one can guarantee what will in future and what price will Bitcoin by December. Now Bitcoin price near about $67k i think this price gradually increasing and finally our expected bull session will start first of 2025. And then Bitcoin price not only $85k it will go more up. Right now, simply keep your BTC safe, close your ears to fud and buy more if you can.

We will see mate, $68k was rejected, if we have gotten over that price and sustain, we could have been looking at $70k by now. So we will have to wait where this run will end whether $70k or higher.

Yeah, there is already a FOMO that's why we already broken another significant mental barrier that is $65k. Just continue to accumulate even if it has been triggered by the investors and pushing the price. We still have a long way to go. We still have year to look at $150k as our new all time high.

If we're looking at $70k -$75k price mark, I would've said it's very possible but i doubt $85k before the end of the year is unlikely to happen
We still have more than 2 months so it's too early to say that Bitcoin may not reach $85k value before the end of this year. Bitcoin is currently, at $67k-$68k value and still the month of October is not over yet.

If Bitcoin somehow touches or crosses $70k value this month then surely it will be somewhat possible to see Bitcoin at $85k before the end of the year but only if no bad events take place.

There is a very strong resistance around $68k, and the BTC pump that happened the other day was the sixth attempt of the bulls to break through this resistance only this year. Personally, I think that if the bulls manage to break through it, we will probably see a strong bump with a medium-term target in the $95-100k area.

Six months since bitcoin halving and price keep resistance make difficult break to higher price or reach new ATH, I don't know the investor have sold their bitcoin on last six month ago when ATH of bitcoin raised or most of them still waiting another lower price get opportunity reach new higher price at the end this year.
Personally I doubt with bitcoin potential for breaking out above $85k in this December behind two months left and bitcoin price most drop than pump. Today bitcoin price around $67k and have close raise to $69k but get correction, its have been moment or not for bitcoin hitting above $70k near future just stay tune and waiting awhile.

Well there is a big wall there that cannot be penetrated. Even yesterday I thought the BTC price would reach 69k but apparently that didn't work and the BTC price had to be corrected again. I hope that this week the BTC price can break through this resistance and start a higher upward rally.

This is my own question and my own doubt
why 85000? how did you find this number?

I honestly expect an ATH at 100-120 thousand dollars.. according to my interpolations
what changes? Personally, nothing to me, just the satisfaction of having guessed correctly lol

Yes bitcoin price has started to rise Bitcoin price will increase several times in few months. Many people think that Bitcoin price will reach around 100k$ by 2025. I think we have to wait few months for big bull run next year. Bitcoin  If the price starts dumping now then many people can make a big loss. Many people have invested seeing that the price of bitcoin has started to increase. Now if the price of bitcoin suddenly starts dumping many people will fall into depression. So let's see what the price of bitcoin can be in the next few months.

There is more possibility that bitcoin is going to hit $100,000 by december, we should watch out for it, but before that time arrives, there is going to be more volatility and the market may sound unpredictable to an extent, this is what we can also deduce from how its performing these days, more indications currently are showing for more bull than bear, we should be getting ready soon.

We can expect to see the peak of Bitcoin price but I think it won't be in this year. $150k isn't possible to be reached in this month, or the next 2 months left in this year. It should be the possible price to be reached in 2025. However, I am not sure if we will easily to reach $150k because it is very high price. I only think we can reach $100k only.  ;)

I believe the best part about this current situation would be just reaching to a level where we can make as much money as we possibly could do so that means we need to just keep holding and accumulating. If it reaches 85k then its great, if it reaches even more than its even more great, if it doesn't reach those levels but still goes up? Then still great.

We can expect to see the peak of Bitcoin price but I think it won't be in this year. $150k isn't possible to be reached in this month, or the next 2 months left in this year. It should be the possible price to be reached in 2025. However, I am not sure if we will easily to reach $150k because it is very high price. I only think we can reach $100k only.  ;)

$150K?, That's quite massive IMO, and I think that we are still far from that for the now. What is even likely to occur in the coming month is probably $80K or the $85K as mentioned in the thread, which might possibly happen after the November US presidential election. The market can decide to wake up further, leaving smiles on the faces of hodlers. And on the other hand, things might still remain the same.

With the current momentum in the market we can expect to see price improvement very soon especially if the price of Bitcoin is 80-90k which is logical. However, since the Bitcoin price is affected by various factors, it cannot be said for sure until the price reaches a certain level. But since we are going to see a big bull market in Bitcoin in the next year, it is only a matter of time before the price of Bitcoin reaches 85k. Bitcoin price has increased by around 12 percent in the last 7 days and if this trend continues for the next few days then it is not too difficult for Bitcoin price to reach 85k. Besides, there is still a lot of time before next December and by this time we can improve to the expected level.

It can happen by this December, or it can also happen in the month of November. Depending on what happens in the crypto or bitcoin world, if there is good news in crypto and bitcoin, it can help or add to the push through to that price.

But for me, let's just focus on our own way of trading activity; if we can make money and we can do it in one day, then let's do it.
Now if we are long-term holders,
just wait.

I honestly expect an ATH at 100-120 thousand dollars.. according to my interpolations
what changes? Personally, nothing to me, just the satisfaction of having guessed correctly lol
I also expect BTC price to rise as high as that at the peak of this cycle, probably as high as $150k, but this should happen sometime next year, so we have to wait until then and see. What changes for me? Lol, i have to say a lot, but without going into details, it is a great time to be part of this network.

Look, unfortunately it's not easy to predict but you're saying a sensible figure
but what makes it sensible is if you explain to us why you think 150k

I think 120k because from interpolations, therefore a method that is worth nothing, the lines meet at 118k
the explanation makes it clear that it is a very "casual" prediction and not very good

I have never thought about the most precise money figure for my target for selling my bitcoins next year, because I will sell my bitcoins gradually at $100K, $120K and $130K.
predicting the price of bitcoin accurately is not easy, so I have a different target and adjust it to the market movement next year.

If according to the predictions of some seniors, the price of bitcoin will reach $85K in early December this year, I also have the same thought because there is no good news that can push the price of bitcoin up to 485K for now, because the market still seems to be waiting for the price of bitcoin to range from $65K - $68K this month. And maybe there will be a correction at the beginning of next month, because we know whales will always manipulate the market.

Bitcoin will soon go to $70K then very likely $100K in December even a faster rise is unpredictable whether we will surpass early or not.
It is certain that there will be many other opinions about bitcoin if it is trending up then this opinion will be positive or vice versa.
Still have to be prepared.

Bitcoin price has already hit $69,000 today. I am very optimistic that Bitcoin will hit $70,000 in just two days. Bitcoin price has seen a lot of positive sentiment for some time now. If this continues, the price of Bitcoin will exceed 80 thousand dollars very quickly.  But if the price of Bitcoin crosses $100,000 it will be really incredible because I don't think it is possible for Bitcoin to cross $100k in this halving. I have seen very few users predicting that Bitcoin price will cross $100k in this halving or next year.  But since anything is possible in crypto, it's not impossible that it could happen

Now Bitcoin movement is good. Some days ago Bitxoin price was under $60000. But gradually it’s price increasing. And now Bitcoin price is near about $68000. I think everything is Possible in cryptocurrency market. So if Bitcoin price increase like this then Bitcoin price in December will hit $85k. But now a days huge risk in cryptocurrency market even world economy for middle east warel crisis. Anytime could be anything because Iran Israel are now very aggressive. If they both entire in full war then Bitcoin price will fall instantly. So we should be more concern about it.

Well, here we are at the local peak of 69k for the fourth time in recent times. And this time the choice is coming soon, which means there is a chance that the price will break through this resistance level, and we will see 76k and higher for the first time.

Maybe after this there will be another market drop, a kind of correction for the crypto price in the market. Because so far, the increase has been quite rapid. While this is only mid-October. So, maybe next week it will go down first to prepare for the next increase? Because usually the crypto market will always have a correction every time there is a very significant increase, that's why we must always be ready in various market conditions and not panic. Because at some point, the market will also get better and better again.

The stochastic has faith that a price can pierce the resistance level and rise to other better levels but as much as this is the case it is important for us not to be over optimistic without factoring in the risks of price breakdown. Cryptocurrencies have been fairly volatile, and while they manage to cross the resistance level, price rise is not always linear. This particular price is very sensitive to factors outside the control of this company such as global market cues, government or political influences, or shift in a particular country’s economy. So we have to act carefully because major sell out can occur at any time particularly when many players in the market want to cash in especially after a breakout.

It is wiser therefore to think of a better way to re-invest that will offer a better investment arrangement. This includes good risk management where people put in stop loss, check on volume frequently and exercise a lot of caution bearing in mind that anything that happens and circulates in the market is a news. Thus, we can support the value-creating activities as well as provide sufficient safeguarding of investments against losses.

As we can see the market has been doing wonders within these few days and I think 80k-100k extremely possible because of numerous news that has been hitting the crypto space, so as trader or investor it's important to have a very cool position to have their asset sets, but presently it's also necessary to buy and hold because we may not see bitcoin at this level again.

There are investors who believe that the price of bitcoin will rise but there are some predictions that say the price of bitcoin will fall, so be prepared for whatever will happen. because the crypto market and global conditions are difficult to predict. As investors who have been in crypto for a long time, we understand that usually October will see the price of bitcoin rise as long as there is no bad news hitting bitcoin that will affect almost all altcoins.

Yes, at the moment, the news background is calm, and Bitcoin is performing well in October. However, things can change very quickly.
For example, if the conflict in the Middle East escalates again and Israel decides to respond to Iran for those strikes, I am more than sure that the BTC rate will react negatively in this case, and we will see another red candle on the chart.

According to Coinmarketcap site, today Bitcoin has reached $69,462. It is almost reaching $70k again, it is very close. But the price suddenly dropped to $67k now, it seems Bitcoin still not ready to reach $70k. But after this correction, I think there will be higher chance to see Bitcoin price at $70k again. Now, we need to be patient and wait for the next pump.

I even think US president election makes more people to be enthusiastic to buy more Bitcoin. Moreover, the FED keeps lowering the interest rates. If this good condition continues, $85k is very possible at the end of this year.

BTC still looks bullish on the big timeframes. And to be honest, it is good to see that the bulls are not giving up and are trying to break through this strong resistance. However, since there was no breakout of the resistance level, I think we should expect either a deeper correction in the short term or consolidation at the current level.

I recommend you read this thread on bitcoin talk

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5513984.0

because I recommend it, a bitcoin price is hypothesized using gold as a comparator
it certainly has its own reason given that fiat money is always something highly volatile and also highly printed, I don't know if you understand what I mean
comparing bitcoin with fiat doesn't make much sense

Neither having some break out or having that rejection on which these are the only two possible ways on which the price would really be able to head on. There's no way that we could really be able to predict on where it would be going. Whom have thought that we would really be having that rejection that $70k price point when the market tends to drive bullish recently?
Just as anticipated that this is something a ceiling that couldnt be easily be break because if it does then it will really be heading to 80k in no time but of course things wont come
easy and this is why im not really that making myself being too optimistic so that it wont give out that disappointment.  :)

December is still a long time away from when the price of Bitcoin can change significantly. The market will turn again at any time even if there is little change in the price of Bitcoin in recent times. Bitcoin bull run is now everyone's hope that the market may change very soon. I expect Bitcoin to reach all-time highs by 2024. It may be $100k or more. But we will definitely be able to see a big movement between October and December. But this is just speculation that anything can happen at any time which is not impossible for Bitcoin.

I want to agree with your words that December is long time away form the price of bitcoin can change significantly because if the market is on his positive track market pump at bull season and make changed even creating a new all-time high price in the cryptocurrency industry.
I think even in two month or three month period bitcoin can have the significant pump. And what I think about the next bull season we will have the smells of the new bull season in the December of 2024 and the bull season will kick of in the beginning of 2025 and it will start its huge activity in the first quarter of the 2025. And these are only based on the previous performance of bitcoin.

Just today, we have seen a very big surge in the price of bitcoin and it is now trading very high above the $72500 as of writing this post. Some people are already saying it is the bull run while some feel there are some time left and the main bull run will start by next year. Nevertheless, the price getting to $85K doesn’t mean we are in the bull run yet but may just have assumed a new all time high like it did before and we all thought it was bull run season. A lot of things such as fundamental news like you’ve mentioned may have affected the market but I don’t think this surge is been pushed by any fundamental news now. If this trend continues, we will definitely see the price hitting $85K by December.

I've heard it said before buying any currency in crypto go up the stairs and down the elevator in a bull market. Doing your homework by researching the previous some year market cycle is something you would be wise to do very thoroughly. Either way my best guess is that the price of bitcoin will rise to an all time high of $87K to $96k in late 2024. But the stock market near the end of the time cycle can be affected by a black swan event. We expect some research and speculation based only because the future of crypto is unknown to everyone. Getting rich is easy if you can be 100% sure about the future of a currency. So this is impossible since we can only guess and proceed to invest based on that.

I'm afraid I may miss the higher pump if I sell now actually. I already thought of selling when the price hit 69k but glad I didn't sold it.

If the speculation that Trump may win is the cause of the rise, I hope Trump wins then. The BTC promise will be granted.

Many people hope that Trump will win because the promise of bitcoin support will be fulfilled but we don't know the results yet, let's just see the results of the US presidential election next month. So if reality says otherwise, Trump loses, then prepare your USD to buy to hold next year.
November we will likely see the price of bitcoin fall, this is predicted to happen early November

I think right time to sell Yesterday because bitcoin price right now have dropped to $72k and you can buy back later at lower price, I don't surely with potential close to reach to new ATH because many time when bitcoin price almost close reach the last ATH price always get failure and few moment later easily big correction.
If want take profitable in short term better sell awhile and believing bitcoin get correction few percent buy back around $66k to $68k seems easily for correcting. Now have dropped few percent and seem continue for few hours later have possibility get down after difficult for bitcoin keep defending above $73k.

well we got very near an all time high today 73.1k

i feel this is pre election betting and many are of the belief trump will win next week and are pushing up the price now.

I think we will retrace much of this next week on monday before the election.

Time to sell?
I'm afraid I may miss the higher pump if I sell now actually. I already thought of selling when the price hit 69k but glad I didn't sold it.

If the speculation that Trump may win is the cause of the rise, I hope Trump wins then. The BTC promise will be granted.
The bull run pump has been designed in a way that the halving comes on the same year with US elections, so that the election will be another event to pump bitcoin price in order for us to see a new ATH in that circle. I feel that this recent surge in price is the work of the election that is approaching, and I believe that after the election, we would see bitcoin price make a new ATH. There is no doubt that bitcoin price can reach 85k by the end of this year, because 100k is the focus price by all investors.

Yes, that's exactly what the laser eyes meme is all about
people expect and people want the psychological wall of 100k to be broken
in the end for some it is a sort of challenge and nothing more than that
honestly, I also expect him to get over it, it's actually become a meme now.

A few weeks ago many people were afraid about the price of bitcoin, all my friends told me to sell because there could be more dump.
But i held according to the plan with my own experience so today i entered the market with a big profit. I have already planned to sell 40% and hold the rest. Many expect bitcoin to cross the $100k mark this year. However i am coming up with a bigger pump and am refraining from purchasing at this point.

Many people have sold their invested bitcoins thinking that the bitcoin market will dump. There is a high probability that the bitcoin market will reach $80k in the next few months. But it is not right to invest now because if the bitcoin market starts to dump, there will be huge losses.  .So those who have invested before can wait for a month if they want. If they sell after a few months there is a chance to get many times more profit. I sold some of my invested bitcoins after reaching $70k waiting to sell the rest after a few months.

The most used currency in the digital currency market is bitcoin. Moreover, by investing in the crypto market you can earn millions of rupees within a few minutes, there thinking that. Based on this, many institutional investors are buying bitcoin. But there are some people who rush to sell on price rise and during the pump line they think it can give big dump again. Actually they want to go both ways, they want to hold and sell out of fear. Since the start of the Corona pandemic, the price of Bitcoin has been steadily increasing. Because then people were more inclined towards crypto. Those who are researching bitcoin are buying and holding because they understand the potential for future gains.

now bitcoin has made a healthy correction to 69k, perhaps it could drop further to 68k
but he is there, he made an ath and therefore it is obvious that there are many take profits
the point is that it is establishing increasingly higher supports, by around 3k at a time
at this rate 85k is plausible for December

It seems that many investors have taken profit when the price of bitcoin is almost approaching ATH and now the market is back in the red and the price of bitcoin has dropped to $69K, it is likely that the price of bitcoin will drop again below $65K.
and the target of selling bitcoin at a price of $100k is still reasonable, bitcoin will reach ATH $85K by the end of this year according to many people's predictions.

Hm... looks like you won't be able to see Bitcoin at 50k unless a "black swan" happens. But I'm sure everything will be fine. It's very funny how we discussed in early October how likely it was that it would become another green UPtober, and now Bitcoin is a few hundred dollars away from the old ATH (it seems like Binance has recorded a maximum of 73.777).
Lets continue to accumulate according to DCA. And someone can say that now is the maximum of price, but soon it will be the minimum, we have 100k ahead.

I hope it will drop to $67k-$68k. I've sold some of my Bitcoin when the price was in $71k-$72k. I planned to buy again and hold until the end of November or December. There are few of my Bitcoin that I often traded them. But most of my Bitcoin, I put on my wallets for a long term holding.

I don't really understand what support you mean. But I agree that $85k is possible to reach in the end of this year. However, it needs something big to trigger significant raise. If Trump can win the election, I'm very sure $85k will be achieved at the end of this year. But if Trump failed, Bitcoin price may drop a bit.

Bitcoin had approached ATH but early November dropped again and when the price of Bitcoin $ 68,224. Get ready to face sharp correction after the US Piplres if Trump loses in this election and don't hurry to buy before the presidential election results are announced. Because of the possibility of correction or a surge if it turns out Trump won the US presidential election this time.

When you ask me, i can tell on the probability of bitcoin getting to another all time high by or before December and this time we should be expecting something close to $100,000 or more, we are already in the bull season and we should also be more careful of the market volatility, things could easily change before the blink of an eye, we should anticipate for more in this December and those trading should do that with caution.

You're right. It seems we are ready for the real bullrun season. Today, Bitcoin has created a new ATH, it is above $75k. Now, the price of Bitcoin looks to be around $76k soon. This will keep growing and it is not impossible to be above $90k at the end of this year. So, it is not impossible to see Bitcoin price nearing $100k if this good news continues. December and January probably become 2 important months for the increase of Bitcoin price in this cycle.

Trump won the presidential election in the US, and it all turned out to be a surge in Bitcoin price because of that. Since yesterday and today, the market has been showing a positive surge because of the victory Trump has over Harris. At least Bitcoin has given an ATH of $76k today. The next ATH we may be seeing at the end of the year may be $90k if Bitcoin continues with this positive move.

To the best of my knowledge, it will surely be because I don't think there will be any negative news that will be big enough to stop Bitcoin from surging.

so in reality there are many factors that favor a pump

Well, until now everything has led to quite a positive trend. Both from a fundamental and technical perspective. The only problem is that I'm worried that there will be a big Fud that will follow after this and make Bitcoin correct quite a lot. But if you look at the history of each period after the presidential election in the US, the market usually tends to be in a fairly large upward trend. And I hope this period is the same.

Not only that, but every October, November, and December, we see the price rise until the new year, as it did last year.

However, I am not sure if we will see $100k this year. I am more confident with $85k to $90k, after which it will retrace a bit before surging again to reach $100k. My estimated date is January or February, around the Chinese New Year period.

Let's begin to anticipate how we can go further from here in bullrun, if the market remain favourable in this season then we are likely to end the year with bullrun and get to over hundreds thousands dollar on bitcoin market price, as we have always been having an increasing numbers of users adopting bitcoin, the same is the market going bigger and bullish in this current circle we are into.

We can currently see Bitcoin hitting an all-time high of $76,850. Bitcoin price has started to rise and it is estimated that Bitcoin will surpass 80000 dollars in few days. Maybe we don't have to wait until December as Bitcoin could make an all-time high of $85,000 in November. However, such a surge in Bitcoin price has fulfilled the expectations that Donald Trump had given the cryptocurrency community due to Donald Trump's victory. Maybe if Comella had won the US presidential election and not Donald Trump, we might not have seen such a surge in Bitcoin price. But surely Bitcoin will cross 85 thousand dollars before the end of 2024.

As per my prediction it is likely to be 80k to 90k in this year and a correction may also be seen towards the end of the year. However, after Trump came to power, Bitcoin seems to be moving forward quickly. Bitcoin price is generally difficult to predict. Some believe that Bitcoin may reach its highest bullish level earlier than expected. I believe a Bitcoin price of 85K by December is not unreasonable. If market conditions remain positive, we may see 85K or more this year itself. Usually the last time of December sees Bitcoin's big bullish movement that ends well into the next year. If that is the case then it must be done until next year. And during this period Bitcoin price will be slightly upward and it will correct again.

we are already at a good 76,000, the road towards 85k is quite probable at this point

let's remember that we are post halving, that fewer bitcoins are being mined and that suddenly everyone wants them

Trump said, I don't know if it's true, that he wants the FED to hold 4 million bitcoins... it's starting to get tough

For the time being, we do not see much evidence that it will surge to $100k, but the good news about Trump is that it will help a lot to break the ATH, which is what people have been waiting for since the price reached $73k before then suddenly turning bearish after that it can't reach more than $70k from May to October. Investors lose hope since most of the prediction is above $100k before the end of this year.

$85k by the end of the year is not an unreasonable expectation.
We broke another ATH today, which currently is set at $77,252.75, so we need only +10% from there to reach the $85k. Not to sound too greedy, but if all goes in a similar pattern as in the last cycle, we could expect much more than that.
But I have a feeling that something might go wrong. It's just strange that the price behaves the way that everyone expects. It's too good to be true.

For someone who do have that experience on how this market behaves neither following up some patterns but we do know that there are tons of instances or times that it could moved out
on to those moments or time that we do least expect. This is why on the moment that you will really be having that kind of optimistic approach the price on which you are already expecting something higher but the price ends up on the other way around then you will really be having that kind of disappointment. This is why it will really better that you should be that
having that kind of versatile personality so that you will not be able to lose your control on the moment or time that market moves into the least thing we do expect.

$85k looks possible if we keep having good news. Yes, we can break ATH $77k just in few days after we have good news of Trump's win. It was the price still below $70k in November 6. We have a lot of days before the end of this year, so why it is impossible to reach $85k? However, we must be realistic, Bitcoin may not increase constantly. There should a dump or correction.

Well, even if it seems too sweet to be true, but it is not impossible, right?
If we have another good news, it is possible we will see $80k soon. November and December are the time of green market, so there is a chance of the further increase of Bitcoin price.

It is actually $80k just a few minutes ago, the price reached $80,380, and it seems it is still going to pump more.

It seems we will see $85k these coming days or before the end of this month. The election has had a significant impact on the cryptocurrency market, and election betting is now legal. I don't see any sign yet for bearish momentum, but it keeps rising.

we have also broken through 81k, so as you can well understand, we are close to both 85k and the next milestone, 90k
little by little, one after the other, these objectives will be achieved and the last myth, that of the 100k, will also fall

With the current upward momentum in $BTC, it's likely that the token will surpass $85K and potentially reach $95K. I believe that a majority of crypto enthusiasts are buying and holding before the end of December which will contribute positively to the price, especially ahead of Christmas, as it will likely see significant demand.

So far so good, BTC has broken the $85k price mark and is moving to $90k. It's quite certain that the price could get to $90k even before the end of this week.

The Trump effect on BTC has really made a huge change in the market. This I'm sure is the very first time in the crypto industry where we experience two new ATH in same year (I stand to be corrected)

The battle of BTC getting to $100k price mark will be determined before the end of November, cause the move in November is not slowing down, a lot of green candles on the charts. 2024 will close up on a $100k ATH or above.

Corrections may come in later after the new ATH.

It's $89,575; with one more spike, it will touch the $90k level. The uptrend momentum still keeps increasing it seems the buying pressure is still high compared to selling. Even without much more trading activity these hours the price still pushing until it reach $90k.

Trump's victory has had a significant impact, and I believe new policies will be implemented for crypto that attract people to invest more in Bitcoin.
This is the most frequently mentioned reason in the news for Bitcoin's price surge.

We can pass $90k, but it seems not easy to pass now.
I see BTC already tried to pass it few times, but the price dropped again to $87k. But I think it won't be something bad although the price returns to $85k. It is normal, we also need a correction to make everything balanced. After we experienced some big pumps, there should be some dump. Now, everyone must expect a big correction before the Bitcoin price continues to reach $100k.

Currently the price of bitcoin has made 4 attempts to reach $90k.
- The first flop was priced at $89.5k
- The second failed at $89.4k
- The third failed at $89.94k
- The fourth failed at $89.87k

And it looks like bitcoin will try again in the near future. Hopefully it reaches past 90k. Because I already want to see the altseason after this. because it seems like the party up to now is still just around bitcoin

If I didn't see badly we even passed 90k
so oh my if we made 85k by December
scary
I think the next goal is 100k, which in my opinion is the psychological threshold that we are all waiting for before we can say that we are truly in a bull run
in my opinion of course

The title of the thread made me to open it again, because this is still November and we’ve already seen a breakthrough the $85K the OP was expecting by December. With the big move already happening in the market, I’m left with no choice to believe that this is the bull run and we are already in it. The psychological threshold in no time will soon be reached and when it does happen this month, or by next month, the next threshold for the bull run should be $150K. On how the market moves to get there will determine more how far and what price we should be expecting to be the all time high of this cycle.

We have already reached 94k in a very short time
I expect to break 100k by the end of the year, and i don't think I'm the only one expecting something like that
in general there is really a lot of euphoria, the fear greed index is at its highest ever

but be careful, squeezes are always around the corner
