Title: L2s Saturation And Opinion on Restaking projects
Post by: akeemqaz on October 14, 2024, 11:50:01 PM
We're seeing many Layer 2 networks on Ethereum, now appearing on Bitcoin and BNB Chain. I think Layer 2 on BNB Chain is unnecessary.

Due to low success of previous L2 tokens, I've shifted focus to restaking projects on networks like TON, EigenLayer, or Sui, as they differ from L2 projects.

I've seen many restaking projects and I recently came across $Puffer on Eigen layer due to thier airdrop trending on X.
However, I would love see more suggestions, especially on the networks I mentioned above. What's your opinion on restaking projects?

I know puffer. The restaking protocol with 1ETH criteria. It's trending cos it makes native retaking on eth chain accessible.. I'm a trader though not a liquidity hunter but I'm guessing this would be good. Or you can explore the token, it's available for trading already and also launchoools/staking. Dyor

Yes, Puffer is a restaking protocol, and their platform offers a restaking solution by lowering restaking requirements. However, it’s still limited to a minimum of 1 ETH, which to me is a restricted solution. Their airdrop farming distribution wasn’t good enough—I didn’t receive any tokens despite participating. But I managed to get it at a lower price upon listing, and I staked BGB on launchpool to earn more because I still believe the project has utility

What would be your goal with restaking?
Just thinking about airdrops?

There are a lot of L2s these days, and most people use them to farm airdrops. In a few months' time we'll have a better idea of which ones will survive
But even so, they're good options that are proving successful, like OP for example with their Superchain
