In recent months, I have been claiming my airdrops on the various Crypto wallets. Most of them have seen notable developments with various platforms introducing new features and improving user experiences. Here's my experience using some of the most popular wallets.
MetaMask is a good one. I noticed increased activity, particularly in staking and decentralized exchanges. However, the network congestion on Ethereum can lead to higher fees.
On the other hand, Bitget Wallet has seen an increase in popularity as I noticed most people were using it as well. I have tried my luck in the various earning options such as Launchpad, Task2Get, and staking. It is a rewarding adventure. Even then, at one time I faced some challenges with the network.
At some point, I also used the Trust Wallet. I like its ability to handle multiple blockchain assets. The downside of this is that the customer support response times can be slow.
Which wallet are you using and what's your experience?

We are different because I am not staking any coin. I prefer to just hold. Most of the coins I have in wallet are bitcoin and fiat backed stable coins. There are many open source wallets that have these two coins. I prefer to use Electrum for my bitcoin wallet and Unstoppable wallet for my altcoins which many fiat backed coins are also part of them.

The problem with airdrops and new tokens is that there are profound changes to the code in short periods, so if you do not follow the latest news and updates, within 6 months you may find that the token cannot be withdrawn. Therefore, withdrawing these tokens to the wallets means that you should stay informed of the news once a week, otherwise it is better to leave them on the platform and invest in small amounts.
-
So have you claimed aidrops token from any these wallets?
I have used Metamask for years I have not heard of a news from them releasing their own token so I wouldn't expect them to airdrop anything. Trustwallet does have a token but I think they were not sending anything to anyone either.
There is a wallet for every token and having the corresponding sallet makes it safer.

The particular wallet any user chooses to use depends on what he does. If you asks lot of bitcoiners you will find out that they make use of wallets that work with bitcoin only like ELECTRUM or probably something like mycelium that uses a few other altcoins alongside bitcoin as the main currency. Anyways sometime ago I usually made use of mycelium for bitcoin transactions but I stopped a couple of months back.
For those that have used mycelium in the past you can admit to the fact that there is always numerous syncing problems most of the time and that was the main reason I think I decided to switch to Electrum.

I don't do many of the things you do, like airdrops or staking and i don't have too many altcoins to hold. I have an Unstoppable wallet though, though with little or no funds in it, but i have tested the wallet and i like how it works, it is also great that it is open source. And as for my BTC, Electrum is my preferred choice of wallet and i have been using it since the beginning.

I think he is talking about which wallet is better for claiming airdrop, although there is a great similarity between trust and MM but MM settings can be easily modified to add any token or any airdrop on any blockchain easily. Also the option of creating multiple independent accounts will reduce fraud if malicious smart contracts are connected.

I'm currently using a variety of crypto wallets simultaneously: MEW, Metamask, TrustWallet, Anchor, Coin98, and a few others. Metamask is quite convenient as I can use it directly in my browser, while TrustWallet is my go-to app on my smartphone. I'm quite fond of both and rarely encounter any issues with them, the only gripe I have is the exorbitant transaction fees on networks ^^
With dozens of wallet options available, everyone has their preferences and trusted platforms. However, the most crucial aspect is to steer clear of fraudulent wallet applications and to safeguard your private keys diligently to ensure the security of your crypto assets.

Meta mask doesn't decide the fee, it's the network traffic so what wallet you're using becomes irrelevant unless we talking about custodial ones.
Bitget has wallet? Never heard of it.
There's not really much options when it comes to adding new tokens that we usually claim from airdrop so obvious choices are MEW, Trust wallet.

The downside of this is that the customer support response times can be slow.
What kind of issues do you have that you need to ask the support tho? As far as I'm aware TrustWallet is a non-custodial albeit closed source, even if you ask for support I don't think they can help you bump your transaction fees for example.
That aside, I think it's closed-source nature is the biggest downside. I'd suggest you look for open-source alternatives tho, unless you're aiming for TrustWallet exclusive airdrop or something similar.

Bitget has wallet? Never heard of it.
Google Play shows 10 million downloads, the APK is developed by an unknown company called BitKeep Global Inc which was created by Kevin Como and Yan Yun who are two unknown developers/investors. The wallet is closed source and I think the reason for trusting it is because of the trust in Bitget Wallet so I don't think using it would be a good idea.

There's nothing MetaMask could do about ETH's network congestion. But these days there are better browser wallet than MetaMask, such as Rabby which support more device and some handy feature to prevent scam.

It's also worth to mention some recent airdrop or play-to-earn GameFi support this wallet. So user could obtain and sell the received coin or token easily.

Crypto wallets are DEXs that provide access to early tokens before they get to major centralised exchanges which is why I like them.
For me, my experience began with Trust wallet and then Metamask which are known for their airdrop features. I recently saw that Bitget is thr second most downloaded crypto wallet and when I checked, they have a good slippage and have been used for major airdrops this year, I wish they had been around earlier when Shiba Inu came around, but in all, I believe subsequent updates will make our experiences better.

I also use several crypto wallets like you like Metamask TrustWallet OKX Binance Web3 Wallet etc. They are convenient and work well but sometimes fees are high. When picking wallet it is very important to do research. If we want to avoid fake wallets and keep our information safe. This means being careful with our private keys. There are many wallets in market to choose from so we need to be careful. We should choose trustworthy wallet keep it updated and watch out for scams. This will help keep our crypto assets safe and make us more secure. But if we will not do research and will choose a bad wallet so we can lose our money.

Bitget is a fairly well-known CEX in the market with a daily volume of over $1B. It has a fairly successful BGB token with impressive price increases since its launch, and it also has a Bitget Crypto wallet with many attractive incentives for users. According to their announcement, they have over 40M users, which I think is a great success for Bitget.
I personally don't use the Bitget Wallet, I'm a Binance user so I'll choose Binance Web3 Wallet which is built on TrustWallet instead of looking for a wallet app from another CEX. I don't want to be confused managing too many crypto wallet apps ^^

I have three wallets, metamask, Trustwallet and Electrum. They are my preferred wallet with different functionality. Metamask is one the oldest crypto wallets, though it has no native token but has great features with integrated blockchain networks.
Trustwallet, a well known wallet with almost every features that are necessary to effectively engage on crypto activities. Stake, swap, save, airdrops bounties, game etc.
Electrum, a good wallet specifically for my Bitcoin Transactions, it is a very simple wallet and easy to use, not much features but I'm very satisfied with the interface.

I'm using Bitgate wallet. For me it is very convenient. this wallet supports various blockchain in a single wallet. they do also offer a lot of promotional services that I can join and earn some extra cryptocurrency.
for Solana blockchain I do use phantom wallet and for turn blockchain I do use Telegram inbuilt wallet and tonkeeper. I think it would be convenient if you do use that blockchain dedicated wallet.
You can use Bitget wallet for all these. It's upto you in which youre comfortable.

I have been using Metamask since ages, and now that they have added snaps, it has become more than just a ethereum wallet.
Rabby seems to be giving touch competition to MM lately but since they had compromise with their swap feature, I kinda lost trust in it and am continuing with MM.

I don't realized a crypto users would have to pick a wallet for claiming airdrop but it's still best to use Meta mask because the user can just claim a token whether it's from BSC, ERC or Magic he cannclaim anything as long as he adds the network later.
I was surprised to have some airdrops in my wallet when I added a network in my metamask. They were scams though.
