Title: Are AI and GameFi the Next Big Things?
Post by: akeemqaz on October 18, 2024, 09:10:45 PM
Gaming and AI projects are making waves these days, especially on the TON network and SOL network. I've seen lots of coins, including AI meme coins, pumping.

Apart from the launched AI, gaming, or GameFi projects, I've been looking for other related projects on Ethereum which are yet to launch. So far, One of the ones I love the concept of is $CROS, which is yet to launch.

I would appreciate it if anyone can give more details on CROS, or if there is a pre-sale or any way to get it before the listing date as announced on their Twitter page.

Gaming and AI are a good incentive to get into crypto without breaking the bank. They’ll do very well this time around given that the bear has provided time to build.

For Cros, yeah, it’s a very nice project that will operate in the field of in-game advertising marketing with players on the web3 side. It connects developers, advertisers and 3 billion players and more than 500 Brand Partners. I think it will do really well.

Unfortunately, I haven't researched CROS, so I'll only talk about AI and GameFi based on my understanding.

AI tokens have been very successful in 2023 and 2024. We've seen impressive growth from FET, ARKM, OCEAN, RNDR... The huge profits and positive market sentiment they bring are undeniable. The AI trend has really helped the market overcome the crypto winter more smoothly.

GameFi was expected to explode this summer along with DeFi, especially with many GameFi projects having major upgrades and bringing many traditional game publishers to the market. Gaming is one of the basic entertainment needs of humans. We have billions of people playing games on consoles & mobile devices. We can see the potential of this market and the opportunity for GameFi in this cycle if projects truly want to develop games seriously. I hope they succeed and I can experience many great Pokémon games on the blockchain and collect NFTs of my favorite Pokémon ^^

I'm not familiar with the cros you're talking about op, although I did see it on bitget exchange and it looks like it's just a new listing on this platform, I haven't seen anything special about this coin so far. Although its volume is also around 4 million in dollars every day.

Maybe I should observe it first, but from what I can see it will drop a lot, maybe it will drop 0.01$-0.05$ I'm just guessing, you know those styles when they are new to an exchange often drop a lot right? most of the time.

I really thought that indirect advertising by creating a thread only happens on the other forum. Turns out, it's also happening here already.
Anyway, not familiar with the project that you shared, and I will not say anything about the project, so I will rather focus on the question that you asked.

GameFi? It's over already and although there are some new Web3 games popping out, the hype around it is low and the amount of players playing it is low as well hence, it isn't gaining any traction and popularity as well.

AI? Can you please give me a project that's specifically focused on AI? The projects out there that are being categorized as AI-projects aren't even related to AI at all. They're just using the term "AI" just to increase their popularity and to stay afloat. Right until now, there's no project that's really related to AI at all.

What did you like about the project or make you think it was something special? I searched and did not find much information about the project. Also, Ethereum tokens are no longer as valuable as they were in the past, while most of the liquidity went to Telegram and TON projects.

Yeah, AI and GameFi are pretty cool.

AI's got lots of potential for crypto trading and stuff. GameFi's also changing gaming, making it profitable.
But there are challenges, like scalability and regulations among others.
Regulations are  making it hard for companies to comply.
Laws are unclear, security's a risk, and adoption's slow.
It's a headache, but devs and regulators are sorting it out.
They're working on better infrastructure, clearer laws, and security measures.
It's a process, but we'll get there, eventually!
If you're interested in investing, research Numeraire, SingularityNET, Axie Infinity, and so many of them
Just be cautious, don't put all your eggs in one basket.

I've been following cryptos since 2017 and I've seen great narratives like ICOs, airdrops, mining, cloud mining, games like Axie Infinity, and apps like STEPN...
But nowadays it's very difficult to follow the narrative because it's changing so fast
In a matter of a few days you notice the sentiment changing and suddenly everyone is talking about a new narrative

I think GameFi is a narrative that will stay for a long time, since games are everywhere  ;D
But I don't think there's a big wave about GameFi

GameFi is part of what is happening with the pumping of TON and Telegram, and if the project fails, GameFi will lose momentum and will be transformed into DEFI AI ICO and other projects.

AI and GameFi are changing the game. AI is making crypto trading smarter, while GameFi is turning gaming into a way to earn money. However, there are challenges like scaling issues and confusing regulations. The laws are unclear, security is a concern, and adoption has been slow. It’s a bit of a hassle, but developers and regulators are working on better rules and stronger security measures.

     -        I'm not very updated with AI and gamefi in this crypto space, as long as all I'm doing right now are Top altcoins,
top meme coins that I'm doing dca on until now.

And these times when the market crashes, be it altcoins, meme coins, and others,
it's up to you if you want to also do dca on the crypto assets that we're saving right now.
