Having been involved on one blockchain networks or another, I thought that you may have a good ideas of some likely platform to look out for in 2025 that will hit the moon .

Firstly crypto currency communities and forums as well as blog sites will contribute to promotions concerning Blockchain innovations like this and one of them I'll mention is Bitcointalk because of the vast majority of crypto users there coupled with the traffic it generates constantly. However massive discussions like that may not be stirred up there if they relate to altcoins more than bitcoin.

Most crypto enthusiast are actually speculating a lot of progress in 2025 especially on the solana network and it's meme coins if you make use of X (formally twitter) you may have come across speculations like this a couple of times.

I think that Bitcointalk is a bit particular when it comes to discussion that involves altcoins - most of new projects that usually come there are not welcomed, so it’s a bit difficult to see discussions like that there.
I’d go to other platform like X for altcoin info then to use Bitcointalk - the only time I’d choose Bitcointalk is when I need some critical analysis on that project that’s when I’d go there because they’ll surely provide you with good analysis on the red flags but if the topic is reversed and you ask why they think the project is good they wouldn’t want to come out with anything probably because altcoin is risky and if anything should happen they don’t want it to be traced back to their account that they once supported that project.

Bitcointalk is open to altcoin and there are bounty campaigns going on which altcoins are fully engaged with but the platform is dominated with bitcoin activities and discussions maybe since it is a bitcoin platform with much concentration and discussion centered on bitcoin, you barely see anybody talking of altcoin there and if you see, it is just a few which I think one can not get much update on unless they do a further research on other platform to get more information that could guide them through.
If OP can, OP should check X platform for to see altcoin mentions as their are lots of them their and for any technical analysis on possible red flags, OP can ask here or the other platform on members opinion and view about such projects but talking of wanting the members to suggest to OP where to invest, then it is something nobody would want to advise OP to do because if things goes south, OP would definitely come calling at them to have giving wrong investment suggestion. So everybody is just being careful

Telegram is a great medium and we are seeing a lot of airdrops there right now.
but bitcointalk is the first forum I got to know crypto before I switched here, both forums have a lot of members sharing their experiences.
although twitter and telegram are more crowded media discussing airdrops but many prefer to stay active in the forums in their daily lives.

It's a new L2, and yes there's a lot of L2s trying to compete for money, but it's Uniswap who is building this new network/layer, they have tons of experience, lots of money and a safe product until now.
They have everything to build a solid product to DeFi users

Beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum, I'm interested in a few blockchain/ecosystems for this bull run:
1. Layer-0 such as Cosmos, Polkadot, Avalanche, and LayerZero: These could become significant market players as the demand for cross-chain interactions increases.
2. Layer-2 solutions such as Arbitrum and Optimism: They are the future of Ethereum.
3. NFTs: Flow could potentially revolutionize the NFT landscape in this cycle.
4. GameFi: ImmutableX, Ronin, and Pixels are the most promising projects for bringing the best games to the crypto market.

You come up with a banner so you win haha just kidding I agree with you. Uniswap is a good platform and it allows good structure for defi projects but still all the defi projects made via it are not that advanced I mean they don't just acquire more features than uniswap so other than just swapping, converting etc there is nothing so unique in uniswap and its blockchain or mention something I missed would love to hear that.
I prefer TON ecosystem more if I have to make money, besides OP and Linea's blockchains might do some good in the future and Scroll can also, but for now, Ton is breaking barriers, and I am wondering what's the next big thing for it.
PS: Even if I did not posted a banner believe me I love Ton haha.

Telegram have indeed taking the forefront among many platforms that stands out to invite people into cryptocurrency. And it’s no news to anyone that what motivate that was the telegram mini app airdrops that are currently on the rise and people making money from them. When we talk about growth and mass adoption of new people into the crypto space, the telegram platform have really done greatly well to enlarge the space. One thing I dislike about those that get to know about crypto through airdrops is that they have little or no knowledge about it, and they can make decisions that will make them regret joining the crypto space and may dislike it forever.
The crypto space is way beyond just airdrops, there are more to know especially privacy and security which most people that joined the space through telegram mini app games don’t know. After this era of telegram airdrop, I am sure we will have a reduced number of people participating in the crypto space since many that engaged in the projects were not given enough pay to make them feel to still be part of the space. Those people may likely dump crypto after now and focus on what they’re doing before this era came through. Only few of them will be left but telegram achieved and benefited more big from it.

TON probably is the most interesting platform to watch this time and although we might think it's not the best when it comes to anonymity, TON however is sweeping the crypto space despite it's CEO under pressure.
The project wouldn't rank to the 10th position if it weren't this good to invest. Those tokens created in TON chain are just starting and it's going to compete top chains.

This is the first time I’m reading about this network probably because I don’t do that much reading on altcoin.
But this sounds really good - since it’s unusual related, I think I’ll check if it’s something I will like and also keep an eye out for them should incase an opportunity comes for me to be part of any project that might come to the network.

So, are we talking about building a blockchain network?
I think it's still quite similar to what happened this year, 2024. Maybe it won't be too far. The Solana blockchain and also Ton Networks will still be more hype in 2025. Especially for now, various projects on both of them are still emerging and bringing hype. Many new projects are still projected to use the Solana and TON networks. especially with the concept of memes and games that are still favorites or whatever they are called that are still often hyped.
So for now, I will still be watching some upcoming projects that will be on both blockchains. at least until this bullrun era ends, I think both of them will still be able to adapt and also develop well and can also be accepted by the market very well.

It is true that telegram is a medium of getting ideas of crypto currency and as a matter of fact, many newbies got onboarded via telegram medium into crypto space and so far the crypto adoption is getting noticed globally as a result of the telegram platform. I have come in contact with many people who got into crypto as a result of telegram airdrops they took part in just as you have said and they have been following up with the system and some are now perfectly knowledgeable of how the industry works. Twitter is a great platform to also see more of crypto projects there but all put together can not really give crypto enthusiast knowledge as bitcointalk and altcointalk platforms can. On both platform, you could learn more through interactive sessions with other members through engaged comments and post replies where you could be referred to materials and articles to read and get more knowledge as it pleases you. One could exchange ideas and seek help for analysis and lots more that could be of benefit to one. These are the advantages of these platforms over the others.

I am also agree with you comment. I also believe that NFT and defi is one of the best and popular in cryptocurrency world. We also saw that's many general people are accept in NFT and defi in this time. We know that bitcoin is also the best popular in cryptocurrency world. So i believe that that's blockchain could be discussion in bitcoin and others crypto currency in cryptocurrency market. But if we follow in others, we saw that telegram is also the best medium in this sector, so i think that it’s will be best network in 2025.

Yes, I can sense that TON will grow more and its influence will expand significantly in 2025. TON may not really be the very best when it comes to critical features but because of its strong community that will only get bigger in 2025 there will be no way to stop TON from exploding, the right way. As for me, the things we are seeing with TON in 2024 can just be a preview of what can be in the coming years. Of course, this is just my speculative prediction and I don't have any say of what the future will be holding for all of us. At the same, there will, of course, be many good competition and some platforms can even better options but all in all things depends a lot on how good they are in attracting users and players under their wings.

I'm not that familiar with a great deal of altcoins however I'm aware of the progress and adoption telegram has also brought to meme coins , tokens and altcoins too. Before now, most airdrops where usually on twitter a long time ago however telegram kinda took that up.
There was also a time that Ethereum network used to have a couple of common altcoins and tokens but I think people gradually left that network to solana's also because of network fees or gas fees.

What do you mean they left the ETH? ;D It's still there with lots of new projects, however, the fees are still there on the main net and the scalability of the ETH is unmatched.
OP and ARB both can be used to build something unique along the lines.

I would have suggested the Solana Blockchain, considering the good numbers of projects that have come from that angle in recent times, but TON seem to be the new sheriff in town, so we should probably watch out for the TON in 2025 because it seems there are more opportunities to be discovered, and there are series of projects that might still come out from it. We've had good ones lately, which I even missed.

It's mostly X and telegram I get to see these airdrops. Both of them are mor popular when it comes to chilling and promoting altcoins or tokens. For btt. Its mostly discussion on major projects or bounty campaigns that are being hosted there. If one wants to get to know more about some popular name coins then they should consider joining some x(Twitter) space. There are lots of them over there.you just have to know be able to differentiate the scam projects from the real ones which I know is difficult also.

I agree Unichain is a good product as they are collaborating with Optimism to create a group of L2 chains known as super chain and they also mention besides making interoperability among super chains, they will also find a way to make swap between chains outside the super chain I just wonder besides the OP stack's feature and security (don't know much about what level of security they are talking here) what other stuff are they involving in it that makes it more unique Also, the concept is not unique, just the way to represent it is a bit unique, CMIIW.
Ton is indeed a good bet for the 2025 bull run, but I am wondering why Ton is not already pumping so hard. I don't know the tokenomics completely, but I think they are not burning or might have to look, but the adoption is crazy, but still, it's like the team is not performing well to come up with good collaborations or it just feels like they don't want to or don't have skills.

I'm not sure which of the blochain network that is going to pump by 2025, there seems to be more number of different blockchain and many layer 2, now how do we even pick one that is going to do well in the next anticipated bull run. Almost all the network are unique on their own, they are good in their transactions but all of them don't have the same support.
I think that people are now smarter than what happen in the last bullrun, everyone want to make money from investment but nobody want to lose their hard earn money on any projects that's why I'm still skeptical about 2025 bull run many people are expecting.

I will give my own choice for the best blockchain for now and in the future, namely from the Solana Blockchain. I noticed that the chain from Solana is getting tested day by day and this really makes me sure that the Solana blockchain is the best for now. I see Raydium which is a DEX platform from Solana also now has a price increase of more than 20%.

I think your view and opinion on TON chain is absolutely correct. TON chain obviously have enough potentials and is yet to be discovered by many which signals a good time to hold more. So far the TON chain has a good utility value being the telegram platform which is worldly recognized and crowded with lots of people using the app globally coupled with the fact that the project has several mini app games and project running airdrops on the chain platform alone could give it a boost and so far it has been a successful one for some project that launched on the platform.

I think Ton is not that reliable like the way we have found solana to be, when we consider the recent coins and tokens launched on the ton network, they have been falling perpetually and hardly rises back to a new high, except for the first ever launched which is notcoin, but ever since, most of their projects are not found promising, unlike we do see with the solana projects from the way of their performance.

Perhaps you should examine Telegram channels and see what is happening because the airdrop trend is dying down. As of last month before Hamster Kombat was launch on the exchange, there was about 110m active players playing the game and before the launch the game, only 2m weren't eligible for the airdrop but today, inky 55m is playing the game.
Most or the people left are still bot accounts that are waiting for their vested tokens and seeing how valueless the token has become, I'm not sure how they are going to distribute the little token available. This is similar to all other telegram mini apps that have been launch, all dead because the hype is going down.

Perhaps you should examine Telegram channels and see what is happening because the airdrop trend is dying down. 55 million is still huge and if these are real users, its a big numbers that can push Ton and not only Hamster, Notpixel also has a huge number and so is Blum, OKX and Binance. Moonbix has huge numbers and you need to link your account, So far, there's always new airdrop coming every week

That's bound to happen; a project cannot keep up with bots and I also like these project to implement anti bots to weed out fake accounts, The hype is likely going to go down but there will remain projects that will stay on and gain the support of the community and with this it will keep the TON in demand they may not be the best chain but They are still worth our watch this 2025

Following this thread because I was not that knowledgeable about updates on what would be the next big thing in crypto space. I am a bit busy right now and just sneaking in here to see some good news and stuff. Though I have had experiences with previous successful projects like Solana, Arbitrum, Base and others but I know something is gearing up for 2025 and that is what we are waiting for.

Following this thread because I was not that knowledgeable about updates on what would be the next big thing in crypto space. I am a bit busy right now and just sneaking in here to see some good news and stuff. Though I have had experiences with previous successful projects like Solana, Arbitrum, Base and others but I know something is gearing up for 2025 and that is what we are waiting for.
While some of us are perhaps preoccupied at the moment, the crypto space is always evolving, and many people are expecting great things for the next year. We know that the next successful project such as Solana, Arbitrum or Base may come along and open up other opportunities. At the same time, anticipation for what is to come stays up and, we stay per ready for significant advancements that would, in turn, bolster the cryptosphere even more.

I’d go to other platform like X for altcoin info then to use Bitcointalk - the only time I’d choose Bitcointalk is when I need some critical analysis on that project that’s when I’d go there because they’ll surely provide you with good analysis on the red flags but if the topic is reversed and you ask why they think the project is good they wouldn’t want to come out with anything probably because altcoin is risky and if anything should happen they don’t want it to be traced back to their account that they once supported that project.
Bitcointalk is open to altcoin and there are bounty campaigns going on which altcoins are fully engaged with but the platform is dominated with bitcoin activities and discussions maybe since it is a bitcoin platform with much concentration and discussion centered on bitcoin, you barely see anybody talking of altcoin there and if you see, it is just a few which I think one can not get much update on unless they do a further research on other platform to get more information that could guide them through.
If OP can, OP should check X platform for to see altcoin mentions as their are lots of them their and for any technical analysis on possible red flags, OP can ask here or the other platform on members opinion and view about such projects but talking of wanting the members to suggest to OP where to invest, then it is something nobody would want to advise OP to do because if things goes south, OP would definitely come calling at them to have giving wrong investment suggestion. So everybody is just being careful
I think according to the name of the forum, bitcointalk, it will definitely focus on bitcoin discussions, but on the other hand, in the altcoin forum there will be a lot of discussions about altcoins from Eth, bnb and other altcoins, there are also many articles that discuss crypto actually and that is enough to find information
Regarding the best network to watch in 2025, I think TON will be a trend in every new project, because of the ease and low cost of sending fees, just like the BSC,SOL networks.

I have not seen Bitcointalk forum name in any of the social media platforms I am participating but defi and NFT are always appearing to me, mostly in Twitter when I was using it. People are involving themselves in cryptocurrency everyday through different platforms and the highest platform that people are coming to know about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies both old and new is telegram. And I strongly believe that Telegram is leading the way and not the two Op mentioned. And why people are using telegram to know blockchain is because of airdrops. Many people that I know that are not investing in any cryptocurrency are busy farming/mining and gaming airdrops in telegram. So it attracts more people to the blockchain ecosystem.
Telegram is a great medium and we are seeing a lot of airdrops there right now.
but bitcointalk is the first forum I got to know crypto before I switched here, both forums have a lot of members sharing their experiences.
although twitter and telegram are more crowded media discussing airdrops but many prefer to stay active in the forums in their daily lives.
I think not anymore, because the majority of airdrops now in airdrops are not getting good results from their Tge, and that's what I saw. So, I think the season of airdrops on telegram is over these days, because most of those who airdropped on Tge are just like hamster kombat.
Similar in the sense that their participants are also scammers after benefiting and getting paid, they will not fulfill the promises they made. So those should not be supported, just participate in others and not on telegram, this is just my opinion.

It's a new L2, and yes there's a lot of L2s trying to compete for money, but it's Uniswap who is building this new network/layer, they have tons of experience, lots of money and a safe product until now.
They have everything to build a solid product to DeFi users
I haven't really heard about this unichain you mentioned particularly and i guess it's not a popular or widely acclaimed blocchain network afterall.
However,i think if we are talking about blockchain network that is doimg well in the market and is likely ro emerge more better in the market by 2025,we'd talk particularly about wave,solana and etherum.
The way solana in particular survived and scaled throughthe market this year is really something to talk about.With it's estimated value at 251 dollars at the moment, i guess by march,we should be seeing 300 or thereabout.
I also think wave would also do really well by 2025 in the market.Seeing the way it's grasping little numbers little by little in the market and still surviving well,i guess i'd advise people to buy it at this period and HODL.
2025 is gonna be a hell of a ride.
