canada’s (https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cp9z5rpgkyeo) prime minister just announced that they plan on reducing the immigrants in the next three years he said that canada has always taken pride in the diversity and multicultural communities but they seem to have missed the balance when services are noe inaccessible and costs of living are rising
this is also a discussion in the usa, whether should they close the borders or not?
what do you think of this?

Well the only affected on this plan are those that are really dreaming of becoming a Canadian citizen or those who are coming after their family living in Canada. As long as it was not affecting working abroad then it's good but I don't know what others may think about this especially those who are planning to migrate or work there.
-
There's nothing wrong with the country's government coming out to say that they are cutting down on the number of people coming into the country because every country has it own developmental plan so if their plan is to cut down on foreigner coming then there's nothing wrong because the issue of immigration is now a global problem as citizens of country has lost jobs and working opportunities due to the influx of foreigner in their country this policy will even help them so they can manage population related matters so as to have and come up with policies that will help improve their Economy because Canada is one country where people visit the most every year
-
This is not a matter to raise eyebrows for, as Agbe has stated. Every country has its right to stop the influx of people coming to their country from year to year. Nobody or country has the right to question them about their decision because that's their country, and they know what will be good or bad for their country. For Canada to think about this plan, that means it has been given them concerns for years, and they choosing to immediate action for it. However, this should be one of the best ideas and decisions they can make to save their country from immigrants in the next three years.
-
No country would want to suffer cause of others. Today I see that the problem of so many countries is becoming this over population and it easily drags a country's economy to the wall. If Canada anyways are witnessing an economy drag down as a result of the level of immigrants it's nothing of a thought that they should close their boarder and reduce the population in time before it causes set back to them.

there are a lot of my countrymen in canada and i am sure they are also planning on getting their relatives in i admit that our country is not the best in a lot of aspects and sometimes migrating is the only way to secure a better livelihood
but if the country that most people go to is also struggling then we can’t do anything about it and accept their decision they also have their own citizens to worry about after all

so despite PM Trudeau seen as the newest dictator for vowing to freeze any assets, people are going to their country?
the allegation was due to the truckers freedom protest where the government freezes their funds while so many supported their anti mandate over covid mandates. there is even a book for World's Next Dictator.
anyway, what the US has to do next i think is sending back the illegal migrants before closing the borders. but this seem to be harder especially when tren de aragua can fight back.

Reducing immigration quotas might ease pressure on housing and services, but it could also slow down economic growth, especially in sectors that rely on immigrant labor.
-
This is the internal policy of their country so if they stop it, then it should be understood that the country has its own development plan. Many foreigners are entering their country because many of their country are losing to the workplace. Changing your status in canada is a process that requires careful attention and legal process to the details. We cannot criticize the policies of a country because it is run by the government of a country. A lot of developmental work in a country is done by foreign workers so if it is closed then you will understand that there is no worker crisis anymore.

Well yeah our families, friends and relatives that are coming there legally would I think be just fine but we also cannot ignore some that are illegal aliens and they might be deported soon as we can see in the United States just recently sad to say they are coming home but I can say that it was all lawful on the side of the Americans and Canadians because I know they don't have problems if we come there llegally. In one part of Canada we have my family clans and relatives in a village but they are legal in there because they have been living there since I was a kid. Filipino community there are huge either residents or working or studying.

borders are supposedly close. why are they in this discussion whether they are going to close or not. countries normally close their borders, they only allow people to come if they are invited or someone married someone from other country.
those who come as tourist will have to come with tourist visas. its only in this time of Biden because they politicized i as if not allowing people to come cross border is already racist.

And because of the cuts, they are now being hit with allegations by Amnesty International (https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/canada-s-temporary-foreign-worker-scheme-inherently-exploitative-amnesty/ar-AA1y7QEjl) that their Temporary Foreign Workers program has been exploitative (low wage, excessive work hours, violence, racism). I don't really know about that because this is what usually happens when you flood the labor market with so many workforce that are willing to do it at a lower rate compared to a local. I've heard of stories like a highly educated person going there ending up as a cleaner in a grocery store.

If such happens hundred of thousands will be out of work,it will really affects so many countries and even the canada citizens that reside in united states will also be expelled.

Anyone considering moving away from their country should first be sure that it is something that they both want to do, because of the challenges you will face as someone in a new country.
A new country like Canada may not be easy to settle down into unless maybe you have some sort of help as per old family and friends that are already residents there and can help you settle in.

USA constitutionn allows the goverment to force prisoners do work for little or no pay.
This mean the USA can and will force out a ton of illegal immigrants. THEY WILL STILL GET CHEAP LOW COST LABOR.
Does Canada have the ability to force prisoners to work like the USA can do.
If they don't have that in their laws they will not be as strict with immigrants as the USA can be.
I guess we will find out on Canada's and the USAs I respectfully disagree to immigrants works out for 2025 and 2026
-
Reducing the immigrants can end up both ways, most of them are working force for lesser pay than the nationals so if they are not coming anymore then the wage will be reduced and moreover people in Canada ready to do the job of the immigrants? I doubt that.
-
I think the call is in order because most of these countries that people travel to are really trying for these immigrants and there should always be a balance in the number of people that each country should have because in a situation where the citizens of a country has no job because there is high population of people in the country should be looked into so Canada trying to put tighter measures for it immigration laws is a good one that will cut down on the number of people that will be coming to the country so over time there will be more job opportunities and even the standard of living will reduce due to the fact that population is be reduced

this border issue has escalated already to tariff war against US where they are now exchanging tariffs to their goods. Canada is fighting back US while Trump tried to double down. this is going to be bad to Alaska which is part of US.
I thought Trudue already quit being their Prime minister but it sounds like he still the one running the country. In one youtube video, he was trying to encourage Canadians that they have more advantage over US in this tariff war.

I may admit if this is coming from the US because they have already taken drastic actions regarding something related here, but as of Canada, i doubt they are willing to stop anything regarding this, because they are not even helping the situation if they truly intend in doing so, we keep seeing new entry routes that support for diverse immigration process and they never stopped any other routes since then, because they know what they stand to get from doing all these and cant afford to compare themselves with US.

Every actual leaders who has the well being of the citizens at heart must take every hard decision that will keep safe the citizens. It is not to be questioned, as they have the right to do what is best for the country, citizens and growth of the country.
It will only affect those who has the intention of moving to Canada, as it's a country that has been accepting migrants around the world. This being said, he knows what to say as the final verdict.

For those already planning to move or handle international documents, one thing to keep in mind is making sure paperwork is properly certified. A lot of official documents require an Apostille seal (https://apostillelondon.com/) to be recognized abroad, which can be a crucial step for work visas, residency applications, or business dealings.
