i was gonna put this under politics board but i think it suits here better
anyway we know its election season for americans and i have seen some interesting things about it firstly i noticed that some takes their ballot from a place fills it up and can just put it in a box on the street? am i wrong?
in my country we have to go to designated places to vote and we vote there at the place we are supervised by authorities and we hand our ballots to them and they will be the one to put it in ballot boxes or counting machines then we leave the place but it seems like americans can vote anywhere surrounded with whoever? what a crazy thing
another foreign concept to me is electoral college i mean i get it a bit but not really? election in us seems really complicated

Americans make their election fair, simple, and less stressful for their citizens, compared to other countries, their citizens would stay and watch over their votes till they get counted and recorded.
Americans' pattern of voting is way too simple that someone can't vote at any time of the day without issues or scenarios of stealing ballot papers or issues of technological problems uploading results, as we hear from other countries like African countries in particular.
However, in a country whose governments are well arranged and organized, the things they do will be fair, simple, and unique for them. Whereas in other countries, those things that are supposed to be simple will be very difficult to deliver credible results because of corrupt practices that have eaten up the government

From your writeup I can guess we're you're from when it comes to election and voting different countries have different methods of voting depending on the method that is best suited them in my country election is treated with caution and extra careful as you can't vote any where apart from where you registered to vote, election all over the world depends on the country that is involved as the people will play to a major role in defining the success of the election. To me any method that is suitable for a country to practice by them is good so it depends on the country involved

It looks very complicated though and open for all to see how transparent the process is compared to some other countries. Election days are just nightmares in some countries that people are afraid of coming out to vote for the fear of being attacked by thugs and ballot box snatchers. Some prefer to stay indoors than getting themselves into what they never envisaged. In all, there must be a winner and nobody cares how the winner emanated but all they care is that they have a leader
