I have been trying to make comments in the chat box but it is not appearing and this has been happening for a week now. So I want to know if I am banned to make comments there. Or it is a setting from my end? Please can admin or any other person who can help me out? I have been battling with it silently thinking that it would work but it is not and that is why I came to here to create this thread to know what is wrong.

Admin can ban users from the chat box and as far as I know, it happened only once in the recent past which is about only for 48 hours but you said for a week that you can't chat means you seriously violated something that revoked your chat box feature.
Let's wait for the admin's reply I will pin this thread in the chat box.

what browser you use, any changes in browser lately ,
do you have ads blocker ?

Hello mate, clear your browser cookies, and also free up some space on your browser bookmarks, this way you should be able to have access to some lacking features on websites,, also try to keep your browsers updated so that you will be in a safer space.
Good luck, and nice to hear admin clarifying that you were not banned from chatbox, so if you do those things I recommended, you should be able to chat freely.

This is not necessary as this will clear all of your browser's data especially those important ones, clearing cache is enough then restart your browser. Most recommended way to to login using different browser and try the chat feature instead.

I have sent a few messages in the past that never appeared in the chat. Is this what happened to you?
I know i am not banned, so this is probably some bug...

This is not necessary as this will clear all of your browser's data especially those important ones, clearing cache is enough then restart your browser. Most recommended way to to login using different browser and try the chat feature instead.
You browser data can only get wiped when you do a data storage cleaning, but if you just manually clear up you browser cookies and some junks on n the browser or bookmarks, you have nothing to worry about, because by so doing you have selected cookies and junk that you manually picked and delete to free up your space.
Anyways the ops may not be needing all of that, if he do one or two of the suggestions already made here in the thraad.

I am using Google Chrome Browser and I don't have ads blocker and I didn't block any ads in my device or the browser. I have been trying to make comments there but no way and I thought it is because the chat is filled up so when you clean up the chat, I would make comments and I tried it again the same thing.

Exactly that what is happening to me. The messages are not appearing on the chat. So I was thinking that I am ban or the chat has filled up.

I think this has nothing to do with the appearing of messages in the chat room. And if I clear my browser cookies, I will clear some of the important websites I have kept there so I will not do that for now.

Mate, I am surprised you are yet to post on the chat. I remember in the past I'll type in the chat, send and it won't appear. I'll simply scroll past and I didn't know how the problem resolved by itself.
If you are on mobile, try logging out and re-loggin, it could work. Also, have you tried restarting your device. I could remember when I used my phone for more than 4 months and don't have it restarted, until it started to misbehave, blocked me from accessing some sites. A simple off and rebooting solved the problem.

It has started again. I followed the instructions of sister wiwo to post on the chat yesterday and it worked but just now I was replying to the admin question "how I did" to post in the chat box but it wouldn't appear. And it was thrice so I have to left it again. Probably admin is working on it now.
I will check back later in the day or tomorrow to see if I can comment there.

So if you are using Chrome and no ad blocker, then you must not be having any problems in sending messages on the chat, although I don't use the chat that much, but only when I have to ask some questions, and I don't face any such problem even though I made a post using Chrome as well.
Did you tried to change the browser see if that works.

Sorry if I have not replied to you on that reply that you made probably forgotten. Sorry for that. I don't have ads blocker. Either yesterday or there about I was about using the chat box but the text which I send after typing didn't appear in the chat box. And I was also not actively participating in the chat box but it is recently that I was about using the chat box but it was not appearing and that made me to create the thread.
I have not tried another browser and should be the thin I have to do now to test if is the browser I am using is the caused of the issue of from the forum bugs. Thanks for suggesting another solution for it. I will try that.

Browsers like opera and phoenix, i may not advised someone to make use of any of them, there are many others in such categories too which could not give users the required interface needed for the use of this forum, so its more better to use browsers like chrome, firefox, brave among others that are strong, my thought as well was that if you actually violated any rule but since this is not it, then you may have to recheck from your end to why this keeps occurring.
