Title: Overview of Crypto and ETH Staking
Post by: akeemqaz on November 03, 2024, 07:04:43 AM
Decentralized crypto staking platforms seem like another good thing in crypto. I've been wondering how their governance tokens will succeed.

Like ETH staking and other assets staking. I found one lately called Zircuit built on Ethereum and mostly focused on ETH staking. It caught my attention because of the investors. But I wonder if this token will be a good one to invest in.

Anyone knows about the listings or any more support apart from the ones listed on the website?
Also what's your opinion on these kinds of governance tokens?

Defi staking has always been a thing from the onset, but not most people leverage the opportunity. I don't know much about Zircuit but from the quick twitter search I did their leveraging zk rolloup technology and it's EVM compatible. If it'll do well I really have no idea but it's on pre market atm, you can search exchanges that offers those, or if you're staking eigen, you'll likely get the drop.

I don't know if this token is a good investment option, you can do some research and look at the governance of the token, but I didn't find this.
But some people are staking ETH just to get this token not from the investment they make by buying directly on the exchange, but staking ETH contributes a lot to the development of this project so there are special rewards for them staking there.
So far, I haven't followed the development much because I didn't stake here.

From my quick search, it seems Zircuit use Liquid staking mechanism where you get token which represent staked coin. Personally i'd recommend you to stick with more popular option which has been around longer, such as Lido or RocketPool.

I have not encountered Zircuit and the staking opportunity it is offering to the market...but I heard on Zircuit in the many crypto communities am in from time to time. One thing for sure, just like anything in the cryptocurrency market you need to evaluate the potential rewards and risks involved. I am sure that if the platform and the things it wanted to happen into the future can be solid then am sure that its token would be reflecting this reality. Good luck on your Zircuit journey and please update us here for any good development.
