As the year comes to an end I cannot help but think of the next trend for the new year, and if the one for this year goes extinct.
The NFT trend a couple years back comes to mind. It's hard to believe that people would actually get over it, although there are still a few, like RoOLZ that make anime-themed NFTs available in its app, and even rewards users with $GODL tokens based on engagement and achievements.
I think we might see a comeback for NFT related projects, next year, even though I know we might still see a lot of hype around TON related projects following the success of projects like NOT and DOGS.

I was also surprised how the NFT quite down, I remember when I use to grind for OG roles and WL but now everything is different, most are just into memes this days, but with project like Roolz still preaching the gospel of memes let's see how it goes

Even though Coingecko reported DeFi and NFTs as the hottest trends in recent months, I haven't really seen that reflected in the crypto market. We're not seeing the same NFT explosion we had in 2021. Memecoins seem to have sucked up all the market liquidity, making it tough for older trends to make a comeback or grow.
I get it, NFTs have huge potential for crypto projects and real-world solutions. But we're still waiting for the right time for NFTs to be used effectively. For now, I think GameFi success could boost NFTs. And as you said, Ton with speed 100K tps is perfect for top-tier NFT projects, as long as they find their niche.

I am sorry to disagree a little bit but I don't see the big possibility of NFTs coming back to a new high in 2025. Instead, I am predicting that there can be more memecoins boom just like what we have right now. Of course, web3 will also be getting its share of the actions along with other top alts. To tell frankly, there can be more excitement with memecoins compared to NFTs as memecoins can easily adopt many features with other coins and tokens got. Yes, this is just my speculation and I am not a god that can make things happen so listen with some grain of salt at the back of your mind.
