All of the teams have played 11 games so far, and Remo Stars are in first place with 22 points, while Rivers United FC is in second place with 21 points. Although there is no difference between their points, which shows that the league is extremely competitive. I am disappointed to see Kastina United in 17th place with only 12 points. It surprises me, to be honest, because I followed their page on Facebook and TikTok, and i see how crazy their fans are in terms of supporting them, and I always assumed that they would be the club with the most fans in the NPFL, which makes me also have passion for the club, but I hope they will improve before the season ends.

Plus one for this breaking down of points in the Nigeria Football Premier League in this season. Kastina United is more much better than Bayelsa United. Bayelsa United performance is very poor in this season. They have 2 win, 4 draw and loss 4 matches. They are 13 point as the moment. Remo Stars from beginning were good and Rivers United started well but these days Rivers United is not doing well again and that made the club management to warned the coach that if he still loses the next game again then they will fire him again. I am predicting that Remo Stars and Rivers United will play the final.

The match between Nasarawa United and Akwa United is today, and based on their performances, both teams are weak this season because they are still in the relegation zone in the league table. With only three points separating them, Nasarawa United has a chance to move out of the relegation zone that is, if they are lucky enough to win, which I doubt will be possible given their head-to-head records, which show Akwa United has more wins and goals than Nasarawa.

Also, there is an interesting game between the top teams in the league, Remo Stars and Rivers United. Both teams are performing well because it is difficult to top the league table, but I think Rivers United will win despite Remo Stars leads by one point. If Enyimba defeats Abia Warriors, they will advance to the top two.

The match between Nasarawa United and Akwa United is today,
The match just ended and Akwa United won Nasarawa United 1-0. P. Acquah scored the goal in 34 minutes as the start of the game and R. Bala got red card in 70 minutes of the game. And Akwa United protect the goal until the end of the match. As was said by others and me as well, the problem the Nigeria Football Premier League is channels to watch it. Though News channels like AIT show it once a while and NTA sports once a while but NTA sports only in StarTime decoder.

In this season I am suspecting that Remo Stars will this cup. But others are saying that it is Rivers United that will win the tournament. But let's wait and see who will win. Kano Pillars are also there.

Akwa United did a wonderful job to controlled their head-to-head records, at least if they can enhance their performance, they will move up in their position. We can't predict what the future holds, it's possible that two of the teams Remo Stars and Rivers united won't even make it to the final because there isn't much of a gap between their points from number one to seven, but any winner among them will have advantage to top the table .

Kano Pillars 1-2 Heartland Owerri is still going on now and Heartland Owerri is winning the match. I trusted Kano Pillars before but things are changing. And that was why we said football game is unpredictable. At the time of posting this, they have played 69 minutes of the game.

Bayelsa United won Akwa United 2-1. Bayelsa United is playing football now. Thy have won Rivers United and now Akwa United it is Remo Stars that is left for rhem to win. And if the improve more on their strikers and scoring power then they will play the final and it is now they on 24th position ranking of the table. Though they still have a long way to go buy they can do it. Rivers United are on the number top of 32 points while Remo Stars are on the second position of 30 points. Enugu Rangers are on the 28 position. The final game in this season will be very tough.

Enyimba 1-1 Bayelsa Unite full time today. Bayelsa United will not go anywhere I. This season so they have to restructure the team for next season. Heartland Owerri 0-1 Abia Warrior. There were 6 matches today and all the matches were tough.

Remo Stars and Rivers United will play the final game and Remo Stars will win the trophy.

This is a great result for bayelsa United because going away to ABA  of all places to get a point in the Nigerian Premier League is not an easy one so kudos to the team with this draw away from home bayelsa United is now in 15th place in the NPFL table though not a comfortable position in the table but playing their next game at home thy have to get a win because any thing less than a win they will be in the relegation zone again, Bayelsa United target this season should be how to escape relegation

Coming to Nigeria footballers, Victor Osimhen is really trying to make things good for the team but others are not trying. I was really disappointed in today's Match. And their next match should be June this year. As Victor Osimhen scored the goal and players like lookman, Boniface and other also scores then the game would have been guaranteed for them to move up. Nigeria Super Eagles are not going nowhere. And instead of giving me heart attack, it is better they didn't qualify in the World Cup.

Is it not better the coach brought some of the players in the Nigeria Football Premier League? Because those players in the National Team are not doing well.

The season is about to and end and everything team is rapping things up and the winners are clearly at the top of the table. Remo Stars are on the lead with 60 points and Rivers United is with 52 points and Abia Warriors has 50 points and Shooting Stars has 47. So with this breakdown we can see the winners clearly. I thought Shooting Stars would take the second position or place in the season but they are far from it now.

I wish that next season, more resources are pumped into this local league so that it can become more popular among football lovers like us. For instance, many Nigerians like myself do not know the particular television channel where we can follow up and watch these games, and also even the local supporters of these clubs do not have a strong community because the government has not invested enough in them.

I will agree with you here because one of the major issues I think the Nigeria Premier League is facing relates to more publicity, as the local leagues are not taken seriously. If the Local League committee can meet with the local Television stations and other private stations as well in their various states to negotiate with them and also involving the state government, the possibility of them getting time for match day on the government stations is sure because the government would give them support and making sure the local football content is promoted in the state and nation at large.

Nigeria don't even have local sport TV Channels where people can watch Local Sports but nothing to show. Frankly speaking I have not watched in a local channels but if only DSTV decided to show it in their sports channels in Africa before I can watched it or if Local News channels show it before I can watch it. NFF still have enough work to do in the commission if really they want to develop the sports industry. If there are local places to watch NPL, people would have watching it and comments would have full here by now.

Let's see who is going to take the cup this season Shooting Stars is nowhere to close to the trophy in this season.

There is none as we can see, despite the increasing rate of of sports and football spectators, fans and supporters in the country, they are lacking behind in many ways, come to think of it from this aspect as well, if they can be this far behind, how could it have been with the national team when they are playing and competing with other countries, lots of things would have been left unattended to which is strongly affecting their performance.

That is one of the biggest problem of the Nigeria Premier League game. And Money is always pumped into the sports Ministry yet they can't provide even a channel designated to Nigeria Premier League only and other sports. And if there some sports channels to watch games in the NPL games, this thread would been more active and having more participants here. And right now the season is about to an end yet many people don't know what is happening.

Now that season is about to an end it's the time some of the weak teams are waking up to beat up the strong teams in the season. Bayelsa United has not been doing well in the season and they were about to relegated and they struggled to escape from that zone and today I was surprised to see them beating Shooting Stars 3-0. And their squad today was well form and their ball possession was good with nice control on the pitch.

O. Ifeanyi scored the first goal, M. Wisdom scored the second goal and K. Lawal scored the third goal. If they were playing like this from the onset they would have been the top 3 teams in the season.

Today's matches were not really good because even those teams that won their matches were struggling to win and draw with 1-1 is more and the 1-0 matches then 0-0 out of the 7 matches today.

Nasarawa United, Akwa United, Sunshine Stars and Lobi Stars are in the relegation zone and I was thinking that Sunshine Stars have escaped that zone but they didn't.
This this the results of today's matches.
