As interest in Hamster Kombat declines, PAWS surges, outperforming the once-top Telegram Mini App.
Once a leading tap-to-earn game on Telegram, Hamster Kombat has seen a steep decline in its user base and engagement due to political backlash, bans and new competition.
Hamster Kombat boasted 300 million users in August, but as of Nov. 5, the game has only 41 million active monthly players — an 86% decrease.
Meanwhile, Paws, a newly launched Mini App on Telegram, has surged in popularity, reaching 20.5 million users in its first eight days, surpassing Hamster Kombat’s growth trajectory.
According to IntoTheBlock (ITB) data, on Sept. 27, active Hamster Kombat addresses peaked at around 772,330. Since then, user activity and token interest have waned, falling more than 36% in the past week.

This is something natural and highly expected as a result of their deception and the disappointment of the community with the Hamster team, after months of working on the application and wasting a lot of time they gave subscribers a little bit of garbage whose price is still decreasing continuously.
They were not honest from the beginning despite the great popularity they gained, but because of their greed and stupidity they deceived people instead of gaining their trust.

This staggering and even unbelievable 86% decrease in users and activity in Hamster Kombat is representing that strong message of disappointment and non-interest after the airdrop had finished. In other words, as a platform Hamster Kombat would have a very hard time to be a leader and soon it would just be one of the many and can even slowly undergo a natural death which, of course, we did not expect. Then we are seeing a new star on the horizon...which can be a cycle in this part of the cryptocurrency industry: one will emerge big and leading and then a new one will take in the chair for some time until a new one will come and take the spotlight.

Yes that's true, unfortunately they didn't maintain their position they had the highest number of subscribers in Telegram apps but they simply lost it. This is really shameful.
They tried to release the second phase of the game to regain the trust of their community but I think they failed and their project is over because they lost the trust of their community and they will never get it back no matter how hard they try. I don't know if it's greed or mismanagement but they failed anyway.
-
- What the hamster did that was not good is already imprinted in the minds of millions of communities here in the crypto space. And most of them have moved on from my observation. Now, if the millions of community of hamster kombat in PAWS have glimpsed or have glimpsed that it would not be good to participate in Paws,
Why did I say this? my answer is of course we all know that when there are many participants the chances are really high that the rewards we will get are also small, I am not expecting huge profit, my point is for sure it will not be worth the time and effort I will spend there. This is just my opinion.
-
I don't know if this is sad or happy news, because previously getting a little Hamster Kombat allocation after playing for months was a disappointment for the community.
If they have a very sharp decline then this could affect the market liquidity of Hamster Kombat, is it possible that Binance will delist Hamster? Because we know this token has decreased in terms of this important community.
-
It's not new anymore to see how shit coins will eventually become shit coins, although there may be those who succeed in trading it and get very big profits. It's just that for this case, whether it really can be successful or not, of course with people's experiences it will definitely be different. And never mind, I also don't think it will go down like that, it's just that maybe HMSTR lovers don't do it.
-

One aspect of this unfortunate turn of events is that people came to HK not because they really like the game but just to get something from the game...and once people realized that their needs were not met at all they all left and look somewhere for an alternative to do. For now, I am not seeing a bright future for HK unless a big miracle could come from somewhere and save it from oblivion. I am sure that there will be more to sprout and take what HK gained. This can be another classic example of greed masquerading as interest, support in our exciting, expanding cryptocurrency industry and how this element can make a project go down the flame. And soon we can even see similar stories to HK and people will be disappointed again and again.

If they have a very sharp decline then this could affect the market liquidity of Hamster Kombat, is it possible that Binance will delist Hamster? Because we know this token has decreased in terms of this important community.
This is possible of course, if Binance notices the community's interest in the game declining and the game starts to decline more and more and no longer complies with Binance's terms, it will definitely be removed and that will be the final blow to Hamster.
But regardless of the community's interest, as long as there is a large buying and selling movement on Hamster's token on Binance, it will not be delisted.

It sure was. Imagine playing the game for 3 straight months and only getting paid like 20-30 USD! Luckily, I never used the Hamster Kombat bot, but many of my friends did. And I could literally see the disappointment in their eyes. After NOT Coin, everyone had big expectations from hamster kombat. But they couldn't meet our expectations.
There is a possibility of that, yes. Losing 86% of users is a big deal. If this goes on, then it's the endgame for them.
-
300 million is a very large number and I think that most games and applications do not reach 1 million users so I doubt its accuracy. Are there any other sources that can verify the data of applications or is it left to the platforms? Generally, such games do not last for a long time, especially if the main purpose of it is profit, and therefore you will find that the number of users may vary significantly within a week.
-
Many have seen Paw telegram mining to be the next hype and can also perform well as dogs, but some were already saying that it may not be the same expectation we have in it, all fingers crossed towards most of these telegram mining because they are unpredictable, we may not be that accurate with the way of their performance, but the best we could do is to mange take the affordable risk in any one of them or trade wisely.
-
Even without the deception, I think Hamster will be one of those projects that will slowly bleed as a result of player's continues desire to earn more profit. We already know that the trend with these games is that users tend to find something new and become early adopters with the hope of making it big. Paws will experience the same fate in a few months time.

I'm one of these people leaving.. I've deleted the application after I dumped their worthless token and I'm checking all the airdrops I'm joining if they have the same features like hamster so I can also dump them because there's a big possibility that they have the same owners.
There were so many newbies who joined their platform who were disappointed they were successful in fooling people and because of this, I have a hard time inviting people to join other airdrops with potential.

Many are disappointed with what Hamster Kombat is doing in its distribution, plus there are so many airdrop participants up to hundreds too, maybe this is a record but still the wrong one is the developer because for me this is a little unfair.
Reading the news that developers are only concerned with the results of profits and then divided equally, there are still disputes because they feel betrayed.
Never mind I don't want to see this token again, if the possibility of delisting from Binance means that the developer cannot maintain it.

It's not unbelievable, it's actually surprising 14% of them are still accessing the app.
The free money giveaway is gone, why should people play this game which is no different from 1000 other games and far worse than others?
The writing was on the wall all the time, one have just to remember Axie to know how things will go on from here!

I don't know if this is sad or happy news, because previously getting a little Hamster Kombat allocation after playing for months was a disappointment for the community.
It's no secret that meme coins like this will easily have bad news. Funds and big reasons why many users leave Hamster Kombat, I personally never opened the Hamster Kombat mini game app after what happened in the first round yesterday, the results were really disappointing so why continue playing mini games with really disappointing results, right?
and it seems that not only losing users but also the longer it goes on, the price of the coin is dropping. even when most altcoins prices are up following Bitcoin which is in an uptrend position for the past few days, the price of HMSTR has actually experienced a significant decline. even down more than -30% in the past month.

Look at the chart on coingecko it seems very scary for HMSTR to be bought or invested because I see the chart continues to fall every day, this is beyond my expectations when I once heard that the Tap To Earn game on Telegram was very fun, it turns out that it takes a long time and the rewards are like old dust. Just look at the effect of the community that did not buy HMSTR and finally the price is now sinking to the bottom and continues to fall.

Yes it's good that you left because it's not worth it they are just a waste of time, they disappointed many people and left a bad impression on the rest of the airdrops as participants fear that they will be as bad as Hamster too.
They deserved what happened to them, Hamster will be a good example of a rise and fall story, it will be an example for others in the future about failed projects that rise to the sky and then suddenly fall due to greed, management failure and broken promises that caused a loss of trust from the community.

It's not only Hamster Kombat that experienced this steep decline.
I don't know the exact numbers, but I believe coins like DOGS, CATI, and even NOT also experience a decline as well, but not as steep as HMSTR. The said reasons are the ones that caused the project to experience this steep decline, and I don't know how they will come back after this one. As for the new project, I'm a bit curious about it, but if this is just like other telegram mini-app games out there that's has a tap-to-earn aspect then I will immediately go "MAMBA OUT" because I hate tapping already.
Internal dispute, internal problems are for me the main reason why the project is declining. It caused the trust of the investors and participants towards the project to diminish, and they immediately dumped their tokens as soon as the token got listed.

Absolutely, there are many things that can be learned in Cases such as these. Depending on how the projects are handled, they fail to deliver the promised trust and consistency which in many cases leads to unfavorable outcomes. Thus this failed project depicts the key principal ingredients for a stellar community to be an unblemished record of transparency and integrity. It can also be a wake up call for everyone of us to be more selective and work on projects that really deserve more attention so that every effort invested get the desirable pay off.

- That's why Binance listed it on their platform because obviously the users were the only motive they were aiming for at that time. Also, there are quota requirements for all the coins listed on their platform, and if that is not maintained, the hamster coin will be delisted immediately.
That's the revenge of the communities that have millions of participants who broke the trust because they didn't value the community; instead,
they valued the profit they got from the people.

It is possible to wath this as a challenging period which can make us reflect as for the strategy behind Hamster Kombat, for the community supporting it. On the negative side, the market swings can be worrisome, but the combined Might of a community can be the strongest force to keep the token relevant as well as liquid. In the same spirit, we are positive that through increased innovation and cooperation Hamster Kombat could improve in the future.

Actually NOT is doing worse than all, nearly 75% off from its ATH, Hamster and Dogs are still somewhat better losing just half of their value, but taking into account the whole market is green and Bitcoin breaking an ATH is really showing how bad the meme mania is doing now.
Everyone would have expected them to outrun Bitcoin in a bull run but it ain't happening.

There's no full-fledged altcoin season on the market yet, so all those meme tokens from Telegram haven't actually shown themselves in any way yet. Personally, I think that NOT and Dogs can make a good rally during the alt season, but I don't expect anything special from the HMSTR token. The fact that the hamster has lost most of its audience after the airdrop only shows that this project and token aren't interesting to anyone.

Hamster Kombat Pumped more than 150%+
Hamster Combat actually went into such a dumping position a few days ago that it seemed like the project would soon crash out of the market. But prices are currently higher than previous records.
Now price more than. 0.0057$

Yes, the Hamster price has recently increased, but it is still 2-3 times lower than it was on the first day of listing and during the pre-market. So, there is nothing good for those who still hold HMSTR tokens.
The hamster price may be speculatively manipulated, but by doing so, they won't bring back the 70 million users who have already stopped using the app.

What I mean is here is the same as you. Totally agree with you, even though now the HMSTR coin is up but in fact the price is nothing compared to when it was first listed. This price is still scary and is still considered a Dump. IMO

Damn, 70 million people play HMSTR on Telegram and they are fooled by rewards made from 30 corn kernels. Even if they are burned, those 30 corn kernels will not be enough popcorn to accompany us watching Netflix's Dora the Explorer. ;D
I also think that the current increase in the price of HMSTR coins is also manipulative to find those who are new to HMSTR coins to get trapped again at unreasonable prices.

The 70 million users' community doesn't play but stopped logging into the Hamster app. If I'm not mistaken, the monthly number of users was over 105 million on the listing day, and now Telegram shows that there are only 33 million left.
It's worth noting that 33 million users are still a huge number, but in percentage terms, the loss of audience is colossal.

Have small reward including with vesting distribution, how damn its after 70 million user joining hamster kombat airdrop but finally reward allocated too small and must distribution for several time. I think not huge significant of hamster price moving yesterday due all airdrop hunter have sold their reward maybe waiting the next reward batch distribution begin will price keep stable or not?
Actually not only hamster kombat coins raise up significant but all telegram coins airdrop huge movement, DOGS, NOTcoin have up but just defend few hours only before going drop.

There is a chance that the next batch of HMSTR token distribution will be more profitable for those who still show some activity in the Hamster app. Although the airdrop for the second season will obviously be small as a percentage of the total emission, but the number of users among which will be distributed tokens will also be small.

You sound like you are not satisfied with the result, but it is actually good. You did not do anything special to get hundreds or thousands dollars. I dont mean that you did not deserve that, but what you got is the average amount for a default airdrop or clicking/tapping game. In fact I dont understand why people are so disappointed with low payment. It is impossible to divide 1 pie into million pieces and make everyone full. The game was full of bots and multyaccounts. If everyone played fair, the results would have been better.
-

Yes I agree with you on this point.
Because of the large number of players for the Hamster Bot, the distribution was very bad, because if they gave large amounts to everyone, it would lead to the token inflating and losing its value greatly.
Maybe they should have been satisfied with the large number of players they got at some point, but greed made them continue to get more profits and this was the result.
-
Hamster losing 86% of its users will be good news for its players, especially Bello Musa, a pharmacist from northern part of Nigeria who quit his job because of the trust he has in the Hamster Kombat project. He said he was expecting 1hmstr = $100. ;D Other projects, such as Avacoin and Rocky Rabbit, have given players small tokens because of the large players they have or what they just wish, but the hope people had for Hamster Kombat was too alarming.
I'm eager to see if memefi allocation performs up to their hype.

This is actually a good reason and why I also think the same thing about Paws. In my experience, 90% of projects with a large number of participants distribute garbage to users, and people expect that the hamster Kombat will distribute more rewards than dogs and notcoin. But unfortunately, some users received rewards that weren't worth the data they purchased to participate in the project.

I think that you could express correct opinion in your post. Because we also saw that's hamster combat users could be decrease in huge amount in telegram airdrop. Because we believe that many investors and traders who would be play hamster combat, they could be created a best losses in telegram bot. Because i believe that hamster combat could cheating to us. We know that they Couldn't give us sufficient token for our work. So i believe that 86% users left behind in hamster combat project. So i think that season-2 hamster combat could be best opportunity for there users.
-
You could literally smell the decline coming from a mile away. They didn’t have major investors, backing and used users to farm views on YouTube, twitter and telegram and gave community dust in the end. At least they didn’t milk miners and still perform poorly like a certain meme project on telegram did.

Hamster Combat could not give anything like that in Season-1. Customers gave a lot of time behind this airdrop but did not get anything like that. They could have made a little better profit for the customers if they had wanted to, but they did not give it. Customers will only get Hamster Combat for Season-2. The popularity of this Telegram Hamster Combat game has decreased a lot, nothing good will be achieved from here in Season-2. Because those who could not do something good in the season-1, how can they do something good in the second season? Customers have lost interest in playing the Season-2 game, the project's hive has been destroyed, and they will never be able to raise the hype for the first time; that's why they cannot do anything good from here.

Well, the good thing though about the token is that, ever since it pumped up in price a few weeks ago, it stabilized and now its price is at around $0.0035-$0.004 within the past week. It didn't move that much, but still, I don't know if how the project will sustain and its price as well.
They don't care about major investors because they have all of their users back then that are watching their videos on YouTube in exchange for some shitty tokens. I admit I did it once and never done it again. :D That alone gave them a huge ad revenue because all of the views of their videos are averaging at around a million views each. The project is shit, and it will stay at the bottom 200 for a long time that's for sure. :)

Since then, user activity and token interest have waned, falling more than 36% in the past week.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/hamster-kombat-decline-telegram-game-competition-rise-of-paws
Well, I am happy because you said "because of their greed and stupidity", for indeed, greed and stupidity is what cost them a fortune of an opportunity. I really do not blame the Hamster team for a small airdrop they gave to their players, which we all who understand how this things works can indeed, agree that it's not really their fault, the number of users who qualified for the airdrop was too much, way too much that even if they distributed the entire supply of the token which is 100 billion, alot of persons still won't be satisfied as what they would get won't match the time and effort they put into the game..
So, for me, their mistake was allowing too many people into the game when they have no provision for such magnitude of users, and they made this mistake due to their greed, they were making alot of money from users through social media engagements and views on their YouTube videos, they completely neglected the community that gave them the opportunity.
So, in essence, it is what it is and a lesson for others to learn.

Since its ATH in September, until now, the price of HMSTR has dropped drastically to -59.28%. Its ATH price was $0.01004 and now, it is only $0.004077. Just imagine, those who got HMSTR tokens yesterday when the game was distributed are still holding until now, the nominal value is not even up to $1 if accumulated, maybe many are much bigger, but mine personally, is not up to $1.
or one day this can really be as good as pepe at least and survive for longer time. I don't know, there are still thoughts or hopes, but in reality, I don't know, because there is no guarantee for this kind of coin.

So, for me, their mistake was allowing too many people into the game when they have no provision for such magnitude of users, and they made this mistake due to their greed, they were making alot of money from users through social media engagements and views on their YouTube videos, they completely neglected the community that gave them the opportunity.
Yes this is the main mistake, they should not allow all this large number of users who will get the airdrop because this will lead to the inflation of the token and losing its value completely.
They should have been satisfied with a certain number of users but as you mentioned their greed to get more money through interactions on social media and views on their videos on YouTube and others made them ask for more and more, in the end they lost the trust of their community and I expect their project to fail completely.

This is the thing, they could have given the community twice as many tokens, or maybe they could have printed more, the result is that the price declined, so as a free market and per laws of demand and supply, there was more money coming out than going in!
If people had more, it would have simply meant more money out, and an even sharper decline, some need to understand that for a coin to at least keep the value you don't just have to reward the holders but make it attractive for buyers, and that, well it's definitely lacking no matter how you look at it!

Humster combat is a failed attempt to parasitize on the idea of notcoin. It was clear from the beginning.

If you take it like that every single meme coin is a parasite from doge, making it even worse is that they don't even have their own chain, just a token on a network, you can count on the fingers of one hand how many of them could claim they have like 10% o the original utility and how much is hype and pump and dump1

Yes, this is the main point, in order to make a coin attractive to buyers, there must be a project that has a goal or covers a necessary need in the market, what will make investors buy a coin that has no project other than speculation?
If they were smart enough, they would have used the token to buy in-game after listing, this would make players buy the token and thus increase demand, but unfortunately, as you can see, all these bots that require in-game purchases are asking for purchases with Ton and not with the game's token.

We are seeing most of telegram bot projects are not being successful. Hamster also a Telegram bot project. After listing Hamster price decreased huge. I am also holding Hamster coin and already near about 60% decreased my asset.
Now we are in bull session but hamster price till now very low. I think it will loss project for me. We are seeing many Altcoin even meme coin price increasing but till now Hamster price low. I am waiting for few recovery. If hamster increase 20% to 30% i will sell my token and i will quite from hamster.
