Title: Bitget Wallet to support Telegram Mini App financially.
Post by: Gposas on November 11, 2024, 01:30:28 PM
In collaboration with an investment firm; Foresight Ventures, the Bitget wallet powered by the Bitget exchange announces a $20M funding programme aimed at boosting the Telegram Mini App ecosystem...
I guess this would be a boost to TON even after it has faced some challenges at the arrest of Telegram CEO Pavel Durov.
And it would likely affect the price of TON which is still struggling around $5.2 as of today.
On the other I feel it would create a wider space for more T2E airdrops in the innovation and development of The Open Network (TON).
What are your thoughts on this...

When I tested the wallet few months ago, I noticed it is one of the wallets that was very developed as it supported almost all coins, including the lastest at the time which were BRC20 tokens, and bitcoin lightning network. But the reason I did not like the wallet is because it is close source.

About this Telegram of a thing, I do not like how exchanges and wallets wants to have mini apps on Telegram. I will prefer to use exchanges and wallets directly using their apps than to be using Telegram.

I see the TON ecosystem is getting a lot of support still through their telegram mini app games. I was thinking they’ll be coming to an end anytime soon, but looks like they’re in for a very long time and profitable time with the initiative of the built in app games which is gaining a lot of attention and also brought them a lot of users and new people getting featured into the crypto space for the first time through their platform. Bitget have invested after seeing the wide adoption coming from there, it’s all business and they’ll also benefit from it after investing in them.

About this Telegram of a thing, I do not like how exchanges and wallets wants to have mini apps on Telegram. I will prefer to use exchanges and wallets directly using their apps than to be using Telegram.

The most concern about this is the users account been banned or hacked and they have some money in their telegram wallets, how will they get access back into those wallets to withdraw their funds. That alone is a very big deal no one will want to trail for anything.

Probably it can be different from the Telegram wallet. Bitget may let users be able to generate the seed phrase. But even if people that are making use of the wallet can generate BIP39 seed phrase, I can not still recommend the wallet.

Any funding is great, although IMO $20 million isn't that big when you look at BitGet 24h volume (3.6 billion when i write this post) and trading fee (ranging from 0.0416% to 0.2% depending on user's level and whether they use BGB).

About this Telegram of a thing, I do not like how exchanges and wallets wants to have mini apps on Telegram. I will prefer to use exchanges and wallets directly using their apps than to be using Telegram.

I agree with you. Although this funding and TG mini app popularity shows many users strongly prefer convenience.

Currently telegram mini apps game is very viral due to which many exchanges are working on this issue. Lots of people are working on telegram bot gaming and many new members are joining bitget exchange. I have already joined bitget telegram mini apps and now i need to deposit money to increase level. But this money will only operate the deposit and you can withdraw it anytime. Indeed, after the arrest of pavel durov then ton faces a multifaceted challenge. However, some new projects got huge success by ton support so due to which ton network has to be considered as a strong platform now.

On point mate of which are the likes of HMSTR and other popular T2E airdrop games.... Though they got support from TON, so also did they provide support and other form of development to the ecosystem..
If you observe closely, every Telegram Mini App airdrop always have a task of making a transaction with TON, thereby fostering the popularity of the TON token which also in a way affects the price thereby.

I guess this support from Bitget wallet is a welcome development as it will foster a positive growth on the TON ecosystem and also encourage new projects which will be willing to collaborate with the telegram mini app airdrop...

So many of these tap-to-earn airdrops are just a complete waste of time, do we really need more of them. So many of them have left people disappointed, though i know that people are still very much interested in it, but personally i do not have any interest in tap-to-earn airdrops.

Actually people are interested with these Telegram games all because they are looking forward to gain something from their participation hence there can be a HUGE disappointment if a project will fail to give some financial windfall just like happened with HAMSTER KOMBAT. What we should be wondering is if there will be no incentives to possibly gain from these games, can there be massive participation still? I think the empathic answer is NO. Now, I am still looking at this Bitget support as a big push for TON because whether we like it not there is no question it is so trendy and it deserves more positive developments.

The main reason for this is that now a lot of people are participating in tap to earn gaming due to which no one is getting a good profit at the end of the day. But we should follow those projects which give points in exchange for daily checking and some tasks. Because a good project will not disappoint you with more work. Like dogs everyone got good profit and there was less work. However, currently tap to earn is a real waste of time. I myself was involved in tap to earn for some time but not getting good profits so now i have reduced my interest.

Lately i have also noticed this that bitget is having some relationship or collaboration with he telegram app whereby through the app you could launch their wallet mini app and things like that, i think this same thing also is happening with OKX users as well, when they are providing for the means to without the coins, they make provisions of options like that for their users to choose, which i see nothing that bad in it.

Though most of us are already disappointed with the outcome of these T2E games but the TON ecosystem isn't disappointed with any and I guess they'll appreciate more and more T2E airdrop since it brings a little development to The Open Network.

With my little observation, all these T2E airdrop projects is a perfect way of generating more users for The Open Network (TON) and also a boost to it's token $TON since it serves as a gas fee to any transaction based on these airdrop games and users are opportuned to gather more points by making transaction with TON coin.

Its a marketing opportunity for Bitget they have seen how massive Telegram Mini Application is, which generates 50 million users on one game alone. And they also have seen how Ton is struggling with keeping up with the massive transactions, so they explore this territory to gain edge over their competitors.
Bitget already has 2 mini-app app games on Telegram, not really attractive compared to other games but it still gains a lot of users because of its affiliation with Bitget.

i think it is definitely a win-win situation here

bitget basically is investing in telegram mini apps and if you are someone constantly looking around for airdrops you would know just how huge telegram plays in a lot of it, in fact most of the airdrops are on the form of telegram mini apps

now most of these games would surely have bitget as their in-app wallet and would boost bitget and at the same time the funding would help telegram mini apps

great partnership

Bitget exchange team is trying to compete with the already established crypto wallets out there, and investing on Telegram mini App is a great boost to the adoptions of the wallets.
I think great efforts like this will increase adoptions and the bitget exchange community. This wallet should be able to break through to a huge numbers of users globally.
Honestly, bitget exchange Telegram mini app wallet integration will definitely attract many users participating on various airdrops campaigns that are being launched regularly, and many users could also be part of the bitget exchange platform now and in near future.

In fact, Telegram mini apps have become very attractive due to the huge popularity of Telegram, so not only Bitget but also many large exchanges have started supporting Telegram apps.

In addition to Bitget wallet, there are OKX, Bybit wallet and Gate.io wallet, all of these exchanges have launched their own apps on Telegram in addition to Binance and KuCoin.

In fact, these mini apps and the very large number of users on Telegram help exchanges to attract more users due to the popularity of these apps, their ease of use and their integration with Telegram.

This Bitget is not playing because the allocation of funds is very large, around $ 20M, it can certainly provide positive things for the ecosystem of Telegram mini. This is like a collaboration specifically for the TON project. Btw, is there a special relationship between Bitget company and Telegram?

I guess this would be a boost to TON even after it has faced some challenges at the arrest of Telegram CEO Pavel Durov.
And it would likely affect the price of TON which is still struggling around $5.2 as of today.
Logically, if there is good news, it should increase the TON coin, but I see at this time on Coinamrketcap that TON is still around 5.1 dollars. Maybe we have to wait a few more days so that TON can rise again quickly.

On the other I feel it would create a wider space for more T2E airdrops in the innovation and development of The Open Network (TON).

This TON innovation should not only play in T2E but should go further in developing a TON coin. Maybe it can be developed again to the latest technology such as in the field of AI or RWA.

Bitget Launches More Ventures in TON Ecosystem
The $20 million fund isn’t the first venture by Bitget into the burgeoning TON ecosystem.

On June 25, Bitget Wallet launched a comprehensive support package for the TON network.

The initiative aims to connect decentralized applications within the TON ecosystem and further solidify Bitget’s presence in the rapidly expanding landscape.

In addition to the wallet launch, Bitget had previously introduced the Telegram Signal Bot to streamline direct trading signals across various trading communities, enhancing trading efficiency and convenience.

Earlier this year, Telegram launched a new digital payment feature dubbed “Telegram Stars,” allowing users to make in-app purchases.

The ‘Stars’ is compatible with both iOS and Android devices.

The move comes with the recent surge in Telegram’s mini apps with millions of users joining every day.

Furthermore, the TON Network has surpassed 1 billion total transactions in the wake of a high-profile memecoin airdrop, which also caused two major network outages.

As reported, the network’s transaction volume has now exceeded 1.04 billion, with half of these transactions occurring in the past three months alone.

TON’s continued growth is largely attributed to recent developments, including the introduction of the W5 smart wallet standard.

The smart wallet standard, launched in collaboration with Tonkeeper, promises to deliver gasless transactions on TON blockchain.

As we might have noticed, since Telegram mini app has made some hype with some of these successful play to earn, Tap to earn, Gaming etc, meme tokens, obviously, Telegram mini app has attracted millions of users, and there are still filling with some of these Cex exchanges that through these telegram mini app they can attracted new users to their platforms. Honestly speaking, this is just part of their marketing strategy to expand their various community based.
OKX, Bitget, are working very hard to increase their users based through collaboration, integrating with these telegram mini app Taps to earn, play to earn, games, and meme coins platforms.
