When I started my journey in the world and market of cryptocurrency, I felt many fears which many times even held me back to be bold and possibly reap more profits...but at the same time fear held me back from being victimized by scams and frauds.
People who are not tech-savvy can be afraid looking even at the long crypto wallet address and that possibility of making a simple but uncorrectable mistake that can transform something into zero.
What are the things that you feared and doubted when you started in cryptocurrency?
-
Well everyone in the crypto sphere today may have at some point of their early beginnings had a few doubts and fear, (at least I believe so). But I think one of the most generally and commonly felt fears is the fear of succeeding in the crypto world, since it’s already said that profitability isn’t guaranteed and there are risks of losses, just like you said, fear of also making a terrible mistake that may likely not be corrected but lead to financial losses.
Again, we know already that many people have been around in the crypto world but yet still have absolutely nothing to show for it, at least nothing but losses. Hearing these kind of thing may actually instil some fear and doubt in the minds of newbies too. I believe everyone must’ve been through this very phase.

What are the things that you feared and doubted when you started in cryptocurrency?
The volatility itself gave me chills and fear. While thinking about it, I saw it as an opportunity but at the same time when experienced the great dips, it had scared me a lot. That's for real and to be honest, that made me better in terms of handling my own emotions because whenever the market moves a lot and dips a lot, I just can't do anything anymore but to miss those profits and gains that I should have taken but then, it taught me a lot of lesson about being patient at all times.

What are the things that you feared and doubted when you started in cryptocurrency?
My major fear was FOMO, and that made me to make some mistakes, though I regretted the mistakes, but yet it had no effect on me, because I am a hunter.
When I jumped into the crypto currency trading market without experience, that was where I experienced the Fear Of Missing Out (FOMO). This happened when I was looking for the right time to enter into the market and ended up entering at the market's top pick, and at that moment, the market faced downtrend. It took me time for the market to come up again for me.
When it comes to the wallet address, I never for ones made a mistake of typing it, cause its length was something else.
I had no doubts, I started following cryptocurrency for fun, not really at the beginning knowing what it has in stock, until I started receiving some money from it.

What are the things that you feared and doubted when you started in cryptocurrency?
Fear of getting scammed? I didn't feel it when I was starting
Not being tech-savvy? It's good that I've been using a computer since high school hence, it helped me at least on my crypto journey.
I guess the fact that I started learning every single basic information that I need to learn is the reason why I didn't feel any fear when I was starting in investing into cryptocurrency. It's not that common yes because most of the newbies have something to fear when they're starting, but not in my case. TBH, learning first would be a perfect start when you're a newbie in whatever field. Forget about earning first when it comes to crypto because opportunities are everywhere, and learning first will help you get those opportunities.
If I will give one though, I guess it's the fear of losing money.

What are the things that you feared and doubted when you started in cryptocurrency?
Before investing in cryptocurrency, we all have the same fear that we will lose. There is a lot of scamming currently seen in cryptocurrency. Many big projects disappear from the market through rug-pool with investors' funds. Considering these, I have a fear of investing in crypto currencies. And that's why I always try to choose top level coins so that I don't have to be a victim of fraud or scam.
At first, these things were also in my Bitcoin case, but now that I have experience, I no longer have that fear in Bitcoin, so now when it comes to Bitcoin investment, fear does not work in me, when it is for the long term.

We both share the same experience when we first invested in cryptocurrencies, I had no fears too. Before starting, I invested alot in learning the basics I needed to know about crypto. I already knew that the cryptocurrency I was going to invest in was highly volatile, so I prepared my mind for the worst outcome and I was also willing to wait till my investment appreciates. I was only careful not to give scammers the opportunity to steal my coins. Maybe the confidence I had then was also because I was willing to lose the amount I had invested.
Investing in cryptocurrencies when you have no idea of what you would be expecting can be quite risky and challenging. If newbies take their time to learn first before investing, they will be able to make right decisions and at the end they will realise that those initial fears they had were not really neccessary.

Losing my funds was the fear that I had, and that made me never care about going through all the important features on the wallet, because I felt that there is what I might click on that will make my bitcoin disappear from my wallet. I have not lost a dime in crypto because I am a hodler but what still comes to my mind sometimes that will make me somehow scared is what if I don't have access to my seed phrase anymore. I have already backed it up.

What are the things that you feared and doubted when you started in cryptocurrency?
The only problem I had when I started crypto, was making a mistake during transaction.. back then what I did to help me avoid such inevitable mistakes was to send my funds to wallet in bits. This way, I can see if my destination is valid before I move my coin totally.. again one problem I had was securing my keys.. upon joining the online space, I came to know about different means by which I could keep my coins safe and away from scam.

When I got into Cryptocurrencies I was afraid that I might lose my investment if I invested in Cryptocurrencies and I also thought like you that my investment might vanish because Cryptocurrencies are so easy to get so much so quickly. Never imagined. First everything seemed impossible to me like how people can earn money from here but after joining crypto currency I slowly understood everything and when I became proficient in everything it seems cryptocurrency is everything to me.

I was worried if i will be able to effectively be my own bank, coming into this network from using just fiat, were the bank handles people's funds can make one scared if they will be able to keep their funds safe themselves. The good thing is that i learnt how to safely store my funds and be my own bank and i have not had any problem since then.

My fear in crypto is making the same mistake over and over again when making a decision. This is what I experienced in the past during the previous bullrun, where I set a lot of target prices for TP that were too high, seemed very greedy and in the end it all had to end in regret because it was not sold. Well, this time I don't want to be like that again, indeed, sometimes regret is always there, but this time it must be avoided and managed so that no matter what, I can get back my investment capital, so that whatever the results are in the bullrun later, it's just a bonus.
-
When I first got into crypto, I started by working on a lot of bounty and airdrop campaigns and my fear at that time was, whether this job was paid or not and whether it could be withdrawn in the form of real money.
I was really a beginner at that time and when I saw a long address, it once crossed my mind when I miscopied the address or deleted just one letter, then the funds sent would be lost.
There are also many other things that scare me when it comes to crypto, about scams and the many malware that attacks crypto users who try to take over our wallets and accounts.
But, to overcome these fears, we as crypto users who may have been around for quite some time or those who are new should know how crypto works and never believe the words of strangers who are trying to trap you.

What are the things that you feared and doubted when you started in cryptocurrency?
When I got interested in crypto, it was the period when ponzi schemes was at it peak and everyone was skeptical about anything that has to do with investing money in it as the entire society label all acts as such practice although despite the fact that I have a brief knowledge about Bitcoin I was still skeptical about it because making that mistake of investing in the wrong asset would scare you as a newbie to the world of crypto and more especially when the period was the conjoin with the big FTX saga.

Not really fear, but back when I didn't have hardware wallet, and used to use mobile wallets to store crypto, it made me paranoid to do anything on phone, peace wasn't there until I got myself a hardware wallet.

Security is very important.
Every crypto investor should have one hardware wallet. I became much more calm and feeling safer after I acquired my hardware wallet. I have an old ledger nano which is safer and supports basically every coin

Around 2014, I heard about Bitcoin in the name of internet money and I didn't took it seriously because at that time internet is not that evolved among commoners like now and internet is filled with scams so I took the wrong step just because I was afraid that it's a scam but years passed then I started to understand things and finally step forwarded to invest couple years later.

I can understand this feeling of having your funds in the same device you use to surf the internet, it can be very scary, because you do not know if one mistake will mean you have lost all your money. Good that we learnt how to safely store our funds in an airgapped or hardware wallet, for safety and peace of mind.

What are the things that you feared and doubted when you started in cryptocurrency?
Like you, its the so many fake projects. Scammers and hackers have found their way into this industry, and they are so good its hard to differentiate a good project from a bad one. This has been my biggest fear ever since: getting involved in a project whom I believe has potential but later out doing an exit scam or Rug pull is still my biggest fear, because if you let your guard down and you are not updated, you will get scammed or get hacked.

This makes us really have to be careful and vigilant with things like this, because love it or hate it, scammers, fraudsters, and projects that are easy to rugpull will definitely always be in the crypto world, which we can't stop, yes it seems we can't stop. that's why we ourselves can fortify all of that, its bad influence, and also the risk of things like that. So that we will not easily fall into the trap of scammers and the like including hype coins that are easy to rugpull. caution is very important that can make us more vigilant and willing to prepare ourselves to learn first, and be careful in concluding or taking investment steps, so as not to be deceived and lose our money easily.

Experience would really be the best teacher on which on the moment or time that you will really be able to experience loses and other mistakes then it would be impossible that you wont really be able to make yourself that be learning all those stuffs and would be avoiding on next time. There would really be those times or moments that you will be hesitating on the things that you are
dealing into because you are afraid to experience more errors on which this is a normal thing but actually it could hinder out your success when it comes to this kind of behavior.

Fear of scams and losing investments in crypto, as no one will guarantee losing money in crypto because it's one's own responsibility.
In addition, I am also afraid because losing crypto is caused by scammer attacks that make the perfect trap to drain the crypto wallet we have.
But I also have to be aware that I need to be careful, if it is not done loss will always be an obstacle for us to continue to progress and develop.

My biggest fear was lack of knowledge about what and where I am buying, as well as where and how to store it. Biggest fear was very first purchase. Long time ago, on other forum, I started to notice posts how people earn with crypto, how they buy, then price pumps and they sell with huge profits. Most difficult was to make first step. Those who were experienced with crypto, send me to find answers in google. So biggest fear was, when I have found exchange, registered, passed kyc (so stupid of me), to make a first purchase via card. At that moment I had zero knowledge if the exchange was scam or not, if my credit card data will leak or transaction will be safe. Bought my first BTC and did not even know how to observe price change and etc. Had to login into exchange, prepare «exchange crypto to fiat» option and see if I am positive or negative my purchase.

Am sure that the fear of losing from scams, frauds and hacks can be considered as the top concern of many people even those who are already involved in the cryptocurrency industry. There are people whose focus is to victimize crypto platforms and crypto-holding people so their assets can be snatched from them digitally...and these people are well-funded as the enterprise can be worth millions with the many success they already made, that is why from time to time we always hear news of scams and hacks from this and that. So sad, actually, but this is already the very reality we are in so what we can do is to educate ourselves on safeguarding what we have and to always be careful at all times.

my first fear and probably one that i still have is using the wrong wallet/exchange and getting my funds stolen right under my nose i always overthink when i use my phone i am now a lot more careful in clicking links or downloading things on my phone because i know i now hold something very valuable in there
What are the things that you feared and doubted when you started in cryptocurrency?
aside from one ive mentioned it’s always not being able to maximize a good opportunity whether to buy or sell i am pretty chill about decisions like this i can move on and accept my decision pretty quickly but still i am afraid to miss a good chance to earn more

Mine was really about the security guard of my assets or my digital currency. I was scared of scammers and fraudulent cause alot of people always be a victim of being rugpull by project or some individuals. I was so curious about the security measures and how strong and reliable it is, what makes me to be so curious and concerned about that was our transactions and trading will be transparent and will be store in a blockchain (public ledger for that matter).
But as I got to deep and understand more about the crypto space I came to know that it very secure and stable and more options of securing your asset was being introduced for example like the Airgapped ( airgapped is when their is separation or departure between a computer or network from other networks, to avoid some sort of interference between them and avoid unknown source to have access or control of their networks or computers) with a lot more of security measures like 2FA, wallet security and lot more.
That was how I got more confident about the security measures of cryptocurrency despite the transaction was transparency I still had more confidence to it.

Scam and hacking news has become FUD news that even continues to be talked about with the aim of lowering crypto prices as low as possible.
Usually it is planned and some victims may be like a big exchange experiencing a hack but users are still safe because they have a reserve of funds for users when a hack occurs.
But related to personal wallet hacking, it will not be recoverable and yes, we need to educate ourselves to be safer and more aware of all kinds of scams and hacks.

What are the things that you feared and doubted when you started in cryptocurrency?
Well, when I started in crypto market, the only fear I had that how things work in this market. And, as a trader I faced huge volatility especially of poor alt coins and back then I didn't understand the difference between Bitcoin, good alt coins and poor alt coins and that's why I faced the losses due to that high volatility levels.
However, after reading many articles and remaining as part of crypto market I learned that all those fears were there only because of lack of my knowledge regarding crypto market. I don't have any of such fears now and I'm happy to say that now I'm also part of crypto community for many years and it has given me a lot.
-
What are the things that you feared and doubted when you started in cryptocurrency?
It's more of how we are going to profit in this market, in the beginning we really don't know, we can only heard people of making good money but we don't know if there is a secret on doing it. Of course scams as well, I myself has felt victim to it when I was just starting around 2016-2017, it was a bitcoin doubler.
But I guess as we mature and got the experienced, we learn how to mitigate and not become a victim of scams. And as far as profits goes, it's the simplest strategy, which is DCA and then be a long term holder.
-
When I first came to cryptocurrency, I had no fear because I didn't understand anything that much. Later, when I slowly learned to understand, I realized that I didn't have that much knowledge, so if I suddenly invested here, I might lose money from here, so I didn't invest here anymore, but I definitely did the small events that could be done.
The first coin I bought was a two-dollar Bitcoin, at that time I didn't really understand what it would be like, but I had a desire at that time to buy some Bitcoin, so I bought some Bitcoin. Anyway, at first everyone was a little afraid, but after learning slowly, of course, now there is no fear anymore, I do something with understanding, so these fears have disappeared.
-
Although I don't know if you can call it fear, what has always worried me most is safety. The concern about having all the assets safe, so that no one can steal them, is one of the things to which I have dedicated the most time since I learned about cryptocurrencies and began to be interested in them. So not only did I learn a lot of ways to protect assets, but I also learned quite a few things about general security. I can say the same when it comes to investing. Always trying to maintain maximum privacy (although we already know that it will never be 100%) and learning to compare information in different ways have meant that I never have problems in that regard.
-
My fears in the crypto space are mostly on failure to take profits on time, investing in coins that will later be rugpulled by their owners, entering the k at the wrong time, when the market is at the downside after investing at a high price
-
investing in coins that will later be rugpulled by their owners
This happens with a lot of new coins out there, you buy them and then the developers run away with investors money or they just stop working on the project and it becomes a dead project. I don't invest in new coins, but for those who do, they have to do their own research before buying it.

It seems to be a trend these days for irresponsible new project developers to abandon the project and run away with the money of the investors who have trusted them. Not a few developers also stop the project in the middle of the road so that the project dies, or it can also continue, but the price obtained is not in accordance with the investment made, aka the investor experiences a loss. I am the same as you, I have no interest in investing in a new project at this time until the situation has recovered, but there is no problem if someone invests in a new project because they have analyzed it well.

My main fear when I discovered bitcoin was the Fear of Missing Out lol
I really believed in bitcoin, and I still do.
I put some money to it , it was a lot for me at the time, although I think i should have put more

What are the things that you feared and doubted when you started in cryptocurrency?
Well, I didn't understand anything about crypto and blockchain at first but I wasn't afraid of the technological barriers related to creating, protecting, and managing accounts because there were always available tutorials on Youtube. I am an investor so honestly, I am afraid that my capital is being misused and cannot generate maximum profit.
For example, BTC holders are getting higher returns than ETH holders, meaning that BTC investors are using capital more efficiently than ETH investors. The scariest thing is when we blindly believe in deadcoin and then suffer losses instead of investing in more potential projects and gaining a lot of profits.
-
What are the things that you feared and doubted when you started in cryptocurrency?
I was not very confident in my ability to keep my bitcoins safe; the concept of self-custody looked very cumbersome and something risky. Risky yes, but not cumbersome with the proper information is what I later got to find out after not letting my fear hold me back. There are people who have failed to invest in bitcoins simply because they could not overcome the fear that they have. Fear can be a limitation, and we must never allow it to take roots.
-
-
What are the things that you feared and doubted when you started in cryptocurrency?
What I fear is losing assets because the cryptocurrency owner is absolutely the one who owns it, no one knows and no one should know so that hacking does not occur. If the price problem changes all the time, I have anticipated it by selling when it is green and buying it when it is red.
If the coins I have like Bitcoin and my wallet are hacked and my Bitcoin is lost, then I will definitely lose my assets. What is feared is hacking and this is my personal opinion.
-
Initially there were two types of disagreements, first the one i followed got profit and encouraged me to invest. The second one who had already lost money by investing showed me the downside several times. Such differences hamper the journey of new investors. I was invested by practice and research but of course the risk factor always pushed more. Everyone has the fear of losing money, so new investors get this fear more. But if he researches crypto well then he is definitely worry free to invest.

Of course, everyone at first will be scared of losing his funds, especially if he gets updates on hackers stealing funds from people's wallet. I also felt this, but as time passes on, I increased my knowledge and understand how to keep my wallet safe. This is a big problem for many newbies because some of them leaves their coins in an exchange and it can lead to loss of assets.

Fraud and scams are something too rare in today crypto market, I mean there is no need to be fear of getting scammed by any project, you (as a newbie) just have to pick one token from top 100 and start analyzing it's patterns and once you think you have some data about it in your mind and you can process it and extract some meaning out of it then you can make trades confidentially.
I did not feared from cryptocurrency as it opened many gate ways for me, I earned from this field and if I lost some money in it that's not a big deal but tbh I did not lose that much in this field yet and I am very grateful to Allah for that. I made money only. But as a newbie my first fear was to send my money from one wallet to another. I feared that what if the money won't appear on the other wallet and what if it stuck in the network or that someone from the network will stole them etc. etc. I was too paranoid about it as till now I did not seen any newbie in my life who was this paranoid. haha.

I think it is true that the fear of hackers is the main one. Everyone will also feel a loss, as you said, because they lost their crypto assets due to hacking by people we don't know, but all of that can be avoided, because it is returned to ourselves, whether we can't take care of it properly so that the wallet is not hacked, the main thing is not to open links that we don't know and usually from there most hacking occurs. While about the price you are right that it sells when the asset is green, and we feel that we have enough profit and buy when it is red.

Not sure of what I'm scared of, but there are probably two things I'm trying to afford at all cost. One is the fear of falling for scam, while the other is buying a project that I won't be able to get out of after investing heavily. I've seen some people that gets stuck with new projects just because they believe they can make profits from it, thinking it still has that same pumping momentum compared to when it was newly listed.

It's natural if you experience fear of falling into a scam trap and everyone who does anything will be the same as you and that's common and very understandable.
Investing in new projects is what often happens, where the project looks great, but when we invest, but what happens is a scam or paid, but the price we get is not comparable to the value of the investment we made.
The dilemma as an investor when choosing the wrong investment that we will make even though the analysis is good.

Even if a good analysis will not guarantee that the project will be successful, there will be many obstacles that may occur.
When at the beginning the project was completely legitimate and would have made more profits, but in reality the project was a scam and their coins were just garbage.
My personal experience has been and even participated in many projects that ended up being scams.
Spent thousands of dollars to get into a new coin investment project in the presale,
but in the end the project failed and did not produce a definite distribution and the coins were worthless.
This is a risk that you really have to think about before investing in a new crypto project,
because there are a lot of problems that can happen, and you lose all that money.

I think the best way to give a straight answer to this is to hold on the topic.
I literally heard about cryptocurrencies at the mention of Bitcoin and during then was the memory of MMM the Ponzi scheme which developers scammed people in the platform seemed to be investors that I had to reflect investing on Bitcoin is not far from being the same
Then I suffers a lot and could not afford a dime possible to loose without panic and then I just declined from investing on it.
Then now, I am admitting my thoughts about cryptocurrencies then was wrong since I could grow up with a maturity in the head of accepting the risks involved and same process learnt about the reality of cryptocurrencies.

Many people thought BTC to be scam, a bubble and all sorts of wrong ideas, it is not just you, a lot of those people now own BTC, they admit they were wrong about BTC and they are now bitcoiners. Many people thought BTC to be scam, a bubble and all sorts of wrong ideas, it is not just you, a lot of those people now own BTC, they admit they were wrong about BTC and they are now bitcoiners. BTC is a decentralized and safe network, though your coins are only as safe as the device you store it in.
Eventually those who initially underestimated bitcoin, they will start buying bitcoin as it continues to reach a new ATH and now reaches $100k++ becoming a tremendous attraction for new users.
There are even many people who say that bitcoin will go to zero, but the proof is that Bitcoin is now the most popular digital currency today.
Those who are afraid and do not have any strategy, will only be left without profit.

At first, before knowing in detail about bitcoin, it is certain that everyone also had the same thoughts as you said, but now everyone understands that it is not like that. In fact, bitcoin is very popular with many investors for being used as an investment because it is very profitable.
Because of its decentralized nature, no one is able to regulate and intervene directly, aka it is very safe, but it still has to be put in the safest place, according to you.

Some things I fear when I dive into the world of cryptocurrency, the first is hacking... yes until now I have been a victim of hacking several times with various methods, and it really harms me... hacking is very difficult to prevent, especially if our main wallet turns out to be the target, it will clearly make us panic and even this is very much related to mentality...
The second, I am afraid that my sacrifices are in vain... I often spend money to learn cryptocurrency or take classes, but what I fear is if the effort is in vain, at least I want every learning I do to be able to be applied or practiced...

i am sure we are all scared of being hacked there is nothing wrong with being scared of this at least you would not be irresponsible and reckless when it comes to clicking links, entering websites, or connecting to public wifis and etc fear is what keeps us safe and what allows us to make protective and precautionary measures

knowledge will never be wasted mate if you look at the market and the community many people have already make profit and progress when it comes to money so if you are worried about that don't just make sure that you apply your knowledge well correctly
anything you learn is something you can keep forever and something you can use anywhere you go so nothing about what you are doing will be in vain

I come from a place where everything that is related to online technology and requires you to put money is called a scam. When you begin to engage in them, you’ll be scared of being scammed or losing your money and you won’t have anyone to hold responsible when those money are gone. That held me back even when I heard about cryptocurrencies earlier, the more general view of people was what we were following and also the impression that everything online that requires you to put your money is a scam was my biggest fear. But today, what was possibly the fear is now my best but I never regretted joining late because I feel I’m still early looking at the number of people that have adopted the bitcoin technology.
The fear also made me to be able to avoid scams which I haven’t really fall into any major scam scenario before. Before the invention of cryptocurrencies, there was scam and fraud that were prevalent even in the fiat market, so I don’t see the reason why bitcoin can be called a scam or a fraud when it’s decentralized, an outrightly spoken technology that prioritize more its privacy and security for the total control and ownership of one’s assets.

It's natural to be afraid of hacking that happens, and I've experienced it when I had trouble asking for help from the admin, who didn't know the admin was fake, and I easily followed his instructions so that the hacking happened. So if you want to say, it's true that all of that is because of the carelessness we do and don't correct it first, but maybe now it's more about links that are very foreign, and we are often not wise and click on those links.

Prior to becoming accustomed to trading cryptocurrencies, I am afraid of the market's volatility, particularly its volatility in terms of price fluctuations. I had to learn about digital marketing and weigh the benefits of trading the valuable coin before entering the business world, but now that I know the business model, I feel fortunate to be a part of the industry and am taking advantage of the chance because I believe my future cryptocurrency investment will be excellent and beneficial to my financial situation. I'm at a loss for what to do if not with the knowledge and attitude.

This may often happen and it works for them, they can easily scam their potential victims, unknowingly, their victims can easily follow the instructions of the scammers who pretend to be fake admins quickly. Fortunately, some were saved because they realized it first, but many still became victims.
and for hacking itself, this is cyber crime, which is sometimes difficult for us to avoid in the online world. However, we can also be aware of this, because no matter what, we have to protect our assets, so we have to be more careful in storing assets, storing personal information, PINs, passwords, and so on, including not clicking on random links that are likely phishing links

It's natural to have doubts or fears when considering something new, especially when it involves technology. With scammers operating through technology, it's understandable to be cautious. Investing in cryptocurrency can be intimidating, and concerns about losing money or falling victim to scams are valid.
I had similar concerns: 'What if I lose my investment?' or 'What if I miss out on potential gains?' However, after taking the leap and becoming more knowledgeable, I realized that investing in cryptocurrency was the right decision for me.

It is indeed easiest to commit fraud, which can be done very well by fraudsters by changing themselves as admins, and it is inevitable that in the end it can be easy to take over our wallets.
I agree, that hacking is the most unacceptable act for anyone because it is very detrimental to those who experience it, and it is true that this is a cybercrime that is sometimes difficult to avoid. We should be able to prevent this from happening by always being more active than those who commit fraud by updating everything we do.

The stories of theft and hacking, price fluctuations, and scams held me back the initial time from moving stronger in crypto investment, but as time went by, I began to realize that one could avoid all that, that could result from falling victim to scams and theft and focusses more on Bitcoin investment than altcoins investment because you are sure of having a return of loss investment in Bitcoin compare to altcoin that one doesn't know their future, whether they can get back to their ATH in the future.

can you believe that even some of those who were also among the early holders of bitcoin never really saw the vision that Satoshi saw, either did they believe that Bitcoin would come this far, so i don't blame those who felt or still feel skeptical about Bitcoin or its potentials because they are among those who do not really understand what Bitcoin is all about.
this is why we always encourage investors, especially he newbie investors to always try as much as they to stay informed and gain as much knowlegde as they can so can they can really understand the true concept of BTC before even venturing into its acquisition.

I remember someone yelling on YouTube and telling people that Bitcoin and crypto are scams and he wants to debate to anyone who promotes BTC.
Now that the price was increased and more people are investing, I don't know what he can react to at this current price, and people are more interested in investing more in crypto. I can't blame them since they are newbies about crypto, but yelling about Bitcoin and crypto in public seems like a pretty bad idea, pushing people to believe that Bitcoin and crypto are scams. Not all cryptos are scams; there are some of them, but not all. He needs to do research first and study about Bitcoin and the whole crypto before randomly yelling in the public without knowledge.
-
At one time, the fear I had in crypto currencies was that if a coin like Bitcoin dropped to $15k, would it ever rise to $69k again? This was my idea about the bitcoin in 2021 when I was completely new to the crypto world.
But later I realized that the Bitcoin market runs on a certain cycle and for this, I now have only one fear and that is if I sell my Bitcoins, then if it pumps again later, I will miss out on some extra profit. And I am also seeing that here I also get into FUD. These were my the first fear in Cryptocurrency now.

Well you should make peace with the fact that people are always entitled to their own personal opinions, not just in cryptocurrency or in Bitcoin but also in other areas of life, people would always publicly say what they believe. It might interest you to know that even some of those people are/were canvassing online about Bitcoin may not actually even believe that it’s actually a scam but are only saying those misleading things online just to make engagements online or gain traction on their website or social media platforms.
Don’t be surprised that even at the current price of Bitcoin, there’ll also be people who would still say that Bitcoin would not exceed its current ATH but would rather begin to dip. In the long run, it’s their opinion and they’re entitled to it and cannot be robbed of it.

What are the things that you feared and doubted when you started in cryptocurrency?
My first fear was how to learn crypto and the second one was how to get the financial assistant needed to start investing, while the last one i fear most was on how to avoid losing my investment on the crypto asset i've chosen, undoubtedly, these are also found to be the most common of what we see among those starting new in cryptocurrency, but now that i've learnt more about crypto, i can be able to invest without fear on missing out since i have the knowledge of what am doing and could make it right unlike when i started new.

It seems that what you said from the beginning is, of course, very fundamental for everyone who follows Crypto and that is a common thing to do, but from all that you say, what I fear most is the loss of investment that we have saved well but can be hacked by irresponsible people.
So everything we have collected just disappeared in a blink of an eye, and we can only regret because all of that from our negligence is not because of other problems. For this reason, knowledge is very important before stepping on Crypto.

It was normal that you feel afraid if Bitcoin dropped to a very low price. When I was a newbie in 2018, I also feel afraid if Bitcoin suddenly disappeared due to the bans of the governments around the world. But since the government also begins to invest in Bitcoin, it is impossible that they ban the Bitcoin now. Moreover US government seems to start to have their own Bitcoin reserve, it is clear sign hat Bitcoin will have great future. Also, we must be aware that there are too many big companies in the world that are joining Bitcoin investment, too. With this condition, it is impossible to see Bitcoin around $15k anymore since its ATH is above $100k recently.

This is a natural thing when it is new and has never experienced a bearish period before. I was the same, so scared that sometimes we panic sell. and this may also apply to people who are new to crypto.
However, over time, when we start to understand and are also active in forums like this, we gain more experience and knowledge about Bitcoin patterns from bearish to bullish which are also followed by altcoins.
Another fear is when I become greedier at the peak of the bullish period later where I lose control and become greedy when I take profits, until finally I end up losing the moment.

it’s normal to be scared of losing an opportunity as we know that in this industry timing is very crucial and chances sometimes don’t come our way the second time but we should not be scared of our greed because it’s something we can control and manage we need to be able to bring ourselves back down if we feel like we are aiming too high if you are a stable person this would come easy because you can think objectively and logically

All of us feel the same way as you, but it's normal because any investment has risk. What's important is that you know what you're doing, you have a plan to what you should do here in crypto. If you're planning to invest in crypto, but doesn't have idea when to invest, I am telling you it's still the best time to invest because we are still in bullish market. Don't just let your fear will be the reason why you're selling your assets at loss. For me, what I've feared a lot is transferring assets to a wrong address.

It is never strange if you practice a lot of cryptos to gain knowledge. Since you are new to crypto first get an idea about crypto then research the investment. Invest only when you understand that your investment will be profitable. In fact, new investors suffer huge losses from first time investments due to lack of adequate knowledge. There are many members in this forum who lost their first crypto investment. So success requires hard work so invest time in crypto then find your best journey.

It may (or may not, since it depends on each point of view) be a good time to invest, but I think what's more important than when (since the market usually offers new opportunities), is where. Fewer and fewer projects appear on the market that may be worth the risk and investment, we continue to see many scams, abandoned projects, memecoins and also projects that simply copy something that already exists. Fortunately, we still have some “safe” values like Bitcoin and Ethereum (and very few others), although the latter, to a lesser extent and overshadowed by Bitcoin.
So the decision can be more or less clear, it all depends on our investment capacity, our patience and the market. And these decisions must be thought with a cold mind.

Yes, crypto knowledge can be obtained very easily anywhere today, it's just a matter of how one wants to learn and understand it. Investments can be very promising with high profits, but they will also be a place of great losses if they cannot be managed properly. Because many beginners just want quick profits but in the end will only end up with losses.

It is not weird, what would be weird is being happy to lose money you worked hard for. Everyone is scared to lose their money, that is why research is important. If you buy any coin, without doing any research, chances are high you will lose money, this is why i mostly buy only BTC and coins that have utility.

You are right, that many beginners only want to get quick profits without wanting to learn properly first, so it is not surprising that many complain because of the losses they get. Of course, it is very unfortunate in this situation. Even though there is a forum that provides the opportunity to learn properly first, so as not to fall into losses that can occur in running investments in a good and correct way as long as there is an intention to continue to want to learn properly.

My biggest fear was when I was buying cryptocurrencies for the first time. I have read and heard those stories when people fill in their cards numbers in the internet, and their money got stolen. First purchase what on a exchange and I doubted what I was really doing. I have bought «numbers and letters» and did not even understand what I own now. Fear was to be robbed. With investing it wasnt that scary, because before that I did daily trading for months, and participated in bounties. Before making and investment, I already had some experience where to look, what to search for, where pay attention, how to try to identify scam from honest project.
-
Fear of making an investment and not making profits out of it after many months of waiting was my major fear in crypto space. Because I hate being in a situation of having a loss investment when my thoughts was to make huge profits in months of waiting not for a loss investment.
However, as the days gone by as of then, I begin to realize that loss of investment in crypto can only happen when you invest in altcoin not Bitcoin, even though you can experience loss to Bitcoin investments but you can recover your losses in Bitcoin with time, compare to altcoin you don't the possibility of recovery your loss investment
-
I fear so much memecoins, because they are very volatile and hard to predict on, the more you think you're knowing them the more it will be appearing to you as if you're just starting, then the other aspect of them all is that, you will see most of them working in the opposite direction which you may took in for them, as the one you may think will dump may pump well beyond your expectations, same also happens the opposite way.

It is certain that all those who invest are afraid that what is done in the investment will not work well and they will lose the funds that have been invested in the investment.
I agree and strongly agree that what you said is the truth and investing in altcoins is very vulnerable to losses compared to bitcoin, because bitcoin can recover in a certain time and not necessarily for altcoins.

Investing in shitcoin is what those new beginners do, because they don't know that bitcoin is not shitcoin, they believe that all cryptocurrency is bitcoin and that idea make them to invest on these pump and sump coin which bring losses to them. In my crypto journey, my first investment was on shitcoin and after losing big time, I almost gave up on crypto until bitcoin brought back the zeal in me to be in the cryptospace.
