Title: Are exchange tokens benefiting from the market boom?
Post by: Gem hound on November 16, 2024, 07:29:03 PM
With the current surging market everything is pumping from popular tokens to lesser known alts. This is honestly the happiest I've been all year but what's particularly interesting is that it seems like more people that have been on Hiatus have come back to trading and it's either the increased volume or just the current surging market but even exchange tokens have been on a rise recently. So I have to ask even though I'm holding some, is it wise to add more exchanges token to my portfolio just because some have started to pump?

We are in the bull run period. If you have some little amount of money, you can use them to gamble the exchange tokens. If it happens that you make money from it, then you can sell. But I will advice you to categorize them just like other altcoins, although they are kind of better as some get to all-time high, but I prefer to believe more in bitcoin.

Since you are looking forward to increase the amount of native exchange token, while the bull run is about to pick up the speed then yes do it.

If you meant Bitget token as I feel like shills are about to spam this thread, do it lightly. Not so blatant that you can lift this thread every minute.

Yes, that's true, anyone from those who stop temporarily comes back for the hype and bullish market to get profit again.

So I have to ask even though I'm holding some, is it wise to add more exchanges token to my portfolio just because some have started to pump?
At least from the top 20 exchanges and their token (if there is one) on the CMC list; I won't consider having them lower than the top 20. If you can check they are all the same patterns of charts so better choose the lower price to gain more profits.

in my opinion, altcoins has not started pumping because many of the altcoins are yet to surpas their previous record All Time High, for example, Etheruem, BNB, XRP,  ADA, MATIC etc, are still trading below their previous respective records.
I have considered the current bull run only on the Bitcoin market, and I think altcoins has not started pumping except for few coins that are following the current Bitcoin trends.
Now Bitcoin need to maintain some stability, and a lower dominant rates for altcoins to pump. I am hoping that altcoins full season will come fully in 2015.

What's your take on OKB?.
Based on the chart alone it seems like the token is pumping just like any other alts. I don't think you have to necessarily hold them if you're not using their service though. It also depends on your target. If you're looking for higher gains buying low marketcap meme tokens will probably give you better results if you find the right time to enter and exit as soon as possible. This is not financial advice and surely you know that most people don't have a magic ball to predict the future, so do your own research too.

I am hoping that altcoins full season will come fully in 2015.
It seems like many people predict the same. I don't know why but this run gives me 2017 vibes. I'd be cautious and secure some profits in January to see if the tren will last or not.

Holding the tokens of the exchangers is really a big risk. And we have already got an example of this through the crash of the FTX exchanger. However, I have seen many people gain profit in the meantime. I have a few personal friends who bought a few BNB when the official coin of the binance exchanger BNB was around $200. Currently, he has gained three times the profit.
So from this perspective, yes, you can be profitable by holding the coins of exchangers, but not all exchangers. I think if someone wants to invest, it would not be wise to choose the coins of any exchanger other than Binance. But I definitely won't tell anyone to invest now because the market is already bullish and if they invest now, there is a possibility of loss. Moreover, there will definitely be risk for the long term. So I always suggest everyone that if anyone wants to invest for the long term, then they should follow the DCA scheme and invest in Bitcoin regularly.

There is something peculiar to all this exchange tokens, they’re always not getting rugged and losing value as long as the exchange is still active and working perfectly. All exchange tokens tends to do well during the bull run season and as this year’s bull run began, I have seen them also surging in price in the direction of bitcoin just like every other altcoins are also performing. It is very necessary to also check in for the best ones to buy during this bull season based on how they’re better than each other even in terms of their exchange service and adoption of it by the people. Remember, treat them as alt also, bitcoin still may remain preferable to adopt more than they should.

I also think Binance's dominance is going down slightly this season, even though that doesn't seem to affect how their token has performed previously. I'd buy exchange tokens if I use them regularly to get the benefits of holding them in my wallet, not necessarily for investment purposes. CMIIW.

But if that happens the damage is quite severe, like FTX as mentioned above. It's not so different with projects like Solana or other alts imo.

I will say also that they do not lose value if nothing happens to the exchange but it is good to know that the price of the coin can not always be increasing. They also fall very well during bear market. But one thing I want to like about the exchange coins is how they are getting to ATH. Example is the BNB that I noticed to get to ATH after bitcoin got to ATH.

It can be happen because in the past Bull season the way there market cap has been increased actually in this bull season and not saying anything like that right because in the time of the past bull season and all time high of the BNB price the BNB market cap was around 108.5 billion currently this time there is struggling at 94 billion market cap.
However, I don't know what the future holds for BNB Coin, but I currently see that Bitcoin's dominance in the market has decreased by about 3 percent, while altcoins' dominance has increased by about 3%. And which are a signal for the next altcoin season I have some investment on bnb coin let's see how it can perform I am actually expecting at least 1k in this altcoin season.

Some of them but not everyone of them, the leading exchange are definitely going to benefit from this market hype, Tokens coming from exchange like Binance, Kucoin Bitget among others, are on the hype If you're a fan of this kind of token, then add more in your portfolio.
Exchange tokens are here to stay because they are backed by a platform that always makes a profit from market boom.
