Are there any other special ways of Investors comprehending that the market will experience a price dump on any Crypto asset apart from news update?
With the current market trend, we all see a positive growth in price of these crypto assets especially the likes of BTC and other top ALTS. Though as of today BTC is hovering around 90k - 91k, but it is clear that we are in a bull season which is likely going a long way in price pump. And this is a period of the green candles and a profit oriented season for Investors/HODLers.
Now, concerning the bear season, a period of downtrend and price dump and a season of the red candles. How possibly does Investors come to acknowledge that the market is going to start a bearish move?
Is it only from news update that is likely to incure negative impact on the Crypto market that they can be able to acknowledge a reason for change in trend?
Not concerning traders rather Investors, what are their source of comprehending when the market is likely to start experiencing a bear season?

I think investors are good traders as well so they do technical analysis for them to know where trend is heading but aside from TA I think the most common way is to get on social media which I think is related to news update. Observing the market can be the best thing to do and gathering historical data so investors can analyse the possible trend.

I don't have a perfect answer, but i believe once the cycle is over and BTC starts to fall fast, investors would know that we are no longer in a bull run, but in a bear run and the price is expected to continue falling. Pump and dump coins are different though, they just pump and dump very fast, people simply have to sell when they have made small returns.

From the charts, it can be speculated whether an asset is oversold or overbought. If overbought, then there's a high chance the next trend is downward. If oversold, then upward.
The current or upcoming geopolitics could be one of the major reasons too. If you know there will be military attacks, what are the likelihood that the global economy would be affected? Let's us remember that crypto might be different but people reacts almost the same when these things happen.

I think that you could express a best opinion in your comment. I also believe that some are investors are best technical in cryptocurrency market, i think that they could understand easily in cryptocurrency market. I also believe that all crypto news are published in social media and there chanel. I also believe that bearish market is also a best time in some investors. Because they could hold there perfect currency in long time.

Some investors will only decided to sell and wait until after the bear market is gone.
Some investors will decided to continue holding if it is bitcoin and not altcoins. Altcoins will disappoint people because they do not get to all-time high.
As for your question, only what I think is to open a short position using just 1x or lower leverage and hold in long term.

The market is concentrating more on BTC, it doesn't care to the altcoins market which whatever happens to BTC will also happen to altcoins.
Traders know the bear market is about to start when indicators in their chart says so. The pattern in crypto seems the same since the cycle. When the bull run peaks, there usually a ban or a regulation update like it did in 2018 and then everybody seems to be dumping. In 2021 I think the SEC hammered harder.

Every trader and investor does not remain silent, they must look for information about crypto and also information on future market progress so that their assets are safe from high losses so that by looking for information they will know the future market conditions, when they know the future conditions from the results of their analysis so that they develop a strategy to manage their assets..
For now I don't know the latest news about crypto, whether there is a negative or positive impact..

I agree with you, although all these methods we mentioned are very effective, but all predictions based on technical and fundamental analyses and others cannot be 100% accurate and cannot give a completely correct reading of the direction of the upcoming market movement.
There are always surprises that no one expects, sudden events may lead to the failure of all readings and data and a sudden and unexpected change in the direction of the market, so you must always be careful and follow the safety rules when investing or trading.

Market movement is always a domino effect; when there is bad news, expect the market to follow, I'm not very good at trading, but this is my experience ever since once I read that negative news: I always prefer to cut my losses or unload a percentage of my portfolio.
Usually sentiment plays a big factor when whales sell their portions; small investors are likely to follow and that brings a domino effect of the market.

Yes, one of the ways that investors, or traders asertain a likely Bearish scenario is when a big supply is entering into the market. To know if there are huge supply coming into the market can be through news channels and social networks.
For example, when the Germans government wants to sale off some of it's ceased Bitcoin, the were some information on social networks that ignited Investors/traders the awareness, and everyone were monitoring the situation closely.
Again, when MtGox exchange decided to pay it's users after the hackers incident, there were also information that alerted investors/traders etc.

This is a very important question you’ve asked here because many that are new into the market will not know when the bear market is starting and the bull season finally comes to an end. One good sign I feel everyone can say is when bitcoin does not continues its uptrend and witness a massive decline and continues to break structure downward, many investors will believe the bull run cycle is over and the bear season has already began. I use to wonder how investors get to sell at the best price during the bull cycle, such that they get to sell at a price close to all time high price or the ATH price itself.
I remember discussions about this going on in the other forum where some intellects that are more familiar with the bull season suggests an investor has a target for the bull run and when the target is reached, it’s better they sell and wait for another bearish tmw to buy again against another bull cycle. This was suggested before of the uncertainty of the market and not getting to sell at the best price possible.

From what I've seen, it started around November-December or when we reaches the peak of the bull run, and established a new all time high.
in 2017 - It was December, up to the last week
in 2021 - It was November, but people still thinks that we can reach 6 digit that time
And in 2017, at the start of the New Year, there were already signs that the market has change already, up until March that we confirmed that we are in the bear market.
Same in 2021, by January, there are already signs of bearish market.
So the signs is still the same, you just have to be very quick to notice that shift.
