Guys, I never thought I'd come up here to ask for movie recommendations but here I am.
Can anyone please recommend something worth watching?
Any genre is welcomed but most preferably horror or sci-fi movies.

I stopped watch Chinese movies a longtime ago, I feel all they do is just fly around and fight, defiling the laws of nature ;D ;D and most importantly the fact that they don’t usually speak English in most of their movies, probably because they just assume everyone who watches them understands Chinese or they all don’t know how to speak English, though they do put up some subtitles but it gets boring sometimes to have to read every single thing they’re saying before you understand what’s going on there.

I stopped watch Chinese movies a longtime ago, I feel all they do is just fly around and fight, defiling the laws of nature ;D ;D and most importantly the fact that they don’t usually speak English in most of their movies, probably because they just assume everyone who watches them understands Chinese or they all don’t know how to speak English, though they do put up some subtitles but it gets boring sometimes to have to read every single thing they’re saying before you understand what’s going on there.

Do i even have time for watching movies like that, since am too engaged with crypto activities, some times i would have saved some interesting movies on my archive to watch later, but before i realized it, time has flies away and yet am not privilege to watch any of them, am now getting to know that in some situations, one can be too engaged to the extent of not having time for movies except on vacation or other free hours outside the work schedule.

Ooh, interesting. I don't watch movies too often, but I started one recently titled "Bodyguard". It's more of like a British movie and has to do with security related. I didn't even know that British movies can be as interesting as American movies. You might just want to check it out. Though, the movie is not new, and it only contains 6 episodes in season one, and sadly, they haven't even released the season two of it. You might just want to exercise some patience for that.

It really hard for me to watch movie for the past last months cause I’m always full with works and my free hours I rather be in this forum scrolling and learn more things than sitting for hours watching movie.
But I can recommend a very perfect and informative movie horror very interesting and understandable. I’m a type of person who watch Animations films, horror and action movies mostly British or English movies. The title of the movie is DIE ALONE I promise you will enjoy the movie.
If you are more of Animation I can recommend a lot of it for you 😅😅

Yeah, not everyone usually has the time to spend watching movies lately, I also prefer to spend most of my leisure times scrolling through short videos on Facebook because my spare times are often short lately, even when I manage to watch a full movie, I’d literally split it into 2 halves or sometimes 3 and I’d watch them bit by bit or I’d simply just settle for a series, so I know I’d split my time between episodes and I won’t have to spend too much time trying to finish the movie at once when I could just watch a few episodes, go back to whatever I was doing or have to do and then come back anytime to continue.

Try watch Mad Max part 2, this movie is going to show you how the begging of the part one started that led to how the young lady was moved and turned to what she becomes, its exciting and inspiring as well as a kind of movie you will have to fall into passion, because of the way this young Furiosa started struggling right from her tender age to the time she fully grow up and how she lost one of her arm,

If you're into SciFi maybe check out one of the great Christopher nolan movies like Oppenheimer and interstellar if you've not seen them.
I've watched Interstellar and find it quite enjoyable, although I enjoy The Martian more. Does Oppenheimer focus on the science part? Based on what I've seen online most people seem to focus more on its psychological part. I think Inception is also quite good, although it's quite old and most people probably watched it already.

You can't generalize whole Chinese cinema like that, every cinema industry has different kind of movies being made; I am sure if you dig enough, you will find movies which exclude stuff you mentioned.
...and most importantly the fact that they don’t usually speak English in most of their movies, probably because they just assume everyone who watches them understands Chinese or they all don’t know how to speak English, though they do put up some subtitles but it gets boring sometimes to have to read every single thing they’re saying before you understand what’s going on there.
They could be catering to Chinese audience hence no other languages. I personally prefer original audio with subtitles (if I don't understand the movie language) as original audio conveys emotions well compared to dubs.

Well I’m not a big fan of Chinese movies, so forgive me if I don’t have the lucid going to dig deep in order to find a suitable one. I’m more into American war or RomCom movies. I used to have somewhat interest in Korean Sci-Fi movies too some time ago, but right now I barely even watch those anymore, not like I suddenly lost interest in them, but because I barely have time to watch movies.

When it comes to horror movies then Evil dead is the good and funny horror movie series that I used to watch when I was a kid. It's really an awesome type of horror move that can pass someone's time and it's quite entertaining.

haven’t watched this but when it comes to horror i do like the classic ones like the conjuring and insidious i do like horror movies with more plot instead of just full of jumpscares i like a horror movie that makes you think and keeps you awake at night to think about what happened in the movie lol
zombie movies also usually do not miss though i noticed that they are quite not that popular these days anymore

Evil dead is one of the biggest and greatest movies in horror series it very entertaining and scary also a very deadly movie. I will recommend one of the best and scariest movie in horror series SAW this movie hit a very different level of promotion this movie is very interesting and very entertaining OP try and watch this movie and give me Feedback when you have watched it.

Actually i don't understand chinese language at all but i enjoy their movies a lot. But i like horror and zombie movies more. On the other hand, i have seen the avenger and avatar movies many times and enjoy them every time. A story of a movie can make the movie rank well and earn a lot of money. Personally i don't always get free time now so i don't watch movies much. I was addicted to movies when i was in college.

I like movies that challenge me intellectually; I will not be so interested in a movie strictly about love. I am currently rewatching Prison Break, even though I have seen the movie before. Rewatching it is giving me another perspective. If you have not seen Prison Break before, I recommend again.

Personally I think the "pursuit of happyness" is a decent movie, not sure why you didn't liked it!
Anyway, I recently finished watching a German series called Dark (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5753856/) (3 seasons, 24 Ep in total)! The timelines of this series is soooo complex that one needs to watch each episode multiple times just to understand what's going on, how everything is connected. This series is in German language, and I prefer GER voice with ENG subtitle, gives it the original vibe! If you have the time you can watch this, highly recommended!

I can count how many times that I have watched movie this year due to my busy schedule. I prefer watching football during the weekend when I am not busy because I enjoy the live matches more than movie. However, a friend of mine visited two months back and he made me watched a movie with him for old friend sake. Since you said that you love horror movies, you can check this out "Pope Exorcist".

I have been looking for movies to watch also since this season is just bringing boredom but I would recommend, into the badlands it is very interesting and the fact that it is a seasonal movie make it more interesting to watch.

I watched it few times and everytime I felt emotional while they were going through the struggle especially the bathroom scene at the train station.

I never knew this kind of thread existed until today and I was kind of wow because I'm a very good at downloading films on one of my old laptop from telegram channels. I just downloaded Venom "the last dance yesterday" and I watch it that same yesterday and all I could say is that Telegram is one of my best place to get movies I can't watch on Netflix and Prime.
Interesting thing about this movie download isn't like I want to be downloading them, I stream most often on my subscription but they don't play latest movies by Marvel, Sonic entertainment and DC movies and it's frustrating because I haven't even been to a cinema before, don't have that time.

Nope, watching any movie at all seems uninteresting to me probably because I conditioned myself watching long series and better stories than the movies that can explain so much in 2 hours time frame. I watched the Deadpool x Wolverine just because of the hype and I loved some scenes but overall not that great.

It doesn’t, however, take much to make us enjoy something and there certainly always is a spark of joy to be found in something entertaining or emotional. Occasionally, a long storey within the sequence seems far more interesting due to the fact that time is allocated for the characters and the plot. Though the experience is different from what might be imagined, watching a film is always a great experience in its own way. In every work although we may not feel that every part is special, there are parts that can always be enjoyed. In the end, the question is what makes us choose one view and not the other – a long storey or a short storey with a powerful statement.

Telegram does not give you what you want if you use the Telegram search engine but rather it gives junk just as you have said. Sometimes it can be very frustrating that you will open the channels to see for yourself if it is what you are looking for and you will see another thing there which can be annoying. Some of them would even require you to pay some fee for what they do not even have to offer may be a way to scam people.

I don't know how you tried to download it, but I have never encountered anything like that!

Let me put it this way!
First of all, if you are unsure of it, then don't download it. And secondly, the prompt you are getting is a very common thing. There is nothing to be sorry about. Because the APK file is coming from an unknown source, that's why you are getting that message, it's pretty normal, and you'll see that just with any downloads. That warning doesn't necessarily mean it's harmful, but only as a precaution.
Anyway, if you are still unsure, if you have a secondary device for testing stuff, use that to ensure the safety!
BTW, the warning you are seeing, I have seen that a thousand times. Hope that helps! :)

Hey guys, I didn’t want to create another thread to seek for this movie recommendation, that is why I decided to bring it here since there’s already a thread for opened for discussion about movie recommendations. And so I saw this movie highlight on Facebook Reels and it really caught my attention and interest to watch but I don’t know the title of the movie and was hoping I’d bring it in here and someone might be able to know the name of the movie.
I wasn’t able to take a screenshot or something so all I can do is try to give a quick description, it’s actually a Horror movie, I think it’s Korean and the movie was about a virus outbreak that led to zombie outbreak, and these zombies weren’t like the regular slow or sluggish zombies, they’re a lot more faster and smarter. And I think movie was staged in a High School or something, I really can’t say for sure. I’d be happy to get some recommendations.

Actually, I think that you could explain a best opinion in your comment. So I can be agree with your prefer comment. I also believe that if we watch different movies, it will be very helpful for our minds. I also like horror movies in this time. I also see DIE ALONE movies, it was very interesting moment for me. But I think that some American movies will be very interesting for us. So I think that if we want to spend my leisure time to see movies, I think that it will be very prefer for us.

I watched Omkara couple days ago , a Bollywood drama, it was very good, I would rate it 8/10.

I watched Bollywood movie called, 'Padmavat' recently, I was mesmerized specifically by performance of Ranveer Singh than anything else, guy owned each scene he was in, I was disappointed with the ending though.

Speaking of good movies, has anybody watched the second Avatar movie? I think it was called The Way of Water. I'm surprised that the next part is coming this December with a title called Fire and Ash. I think I watched the first one in middle/high school. If the last part is coming in 2029, it will be a long time before the whole franchise ends (unless they extend it and make the plot worse, like the Transformers).
I'm planning to watch the movie again but I'll have to subscribe to a streaming service since no one sells the BD in my area.
