Title: Are DEX protocols the new ground for airdrops?
Post by: Cryptochamp1 on December 05, 2024, 08:05:23 PM
We're seemingly in the era of airdrops from Decentralized Perpetuals Futures Protocols (DEX platforms that facilitate trading). In recent months, we've witnessed airdrops from GMX, Hyper, and now it appears that SynthFutures is about to follow suit with the $F airdrop and TGE (Token Generation Event) scheduled for tomorrow, December 6th.

Was anyone here an early supporter of SynthFutures? If so, could you suggest similar platforms where I can establish my digital presence and position myself for the next airdrop? What are your expectations for $F as the claim goes live tomorrow?

Well those airdrops are always a good way for the exchange to increase their user base and popularity within airdrop hunters and other popular communities with large user bases, some people didn't know about some projects and ecosystems until there was an airdrop for it. I'm sure there are people out there that only know synFutures because of the airdrop lol

Sycfutures is a dex not a cex mate. And yeah I didn't really know about it until I saw it trending on X as regards the airdrop. If you' didn't get the drop cos it's listed already, there's an opening to farm if you fancy

I made a trade on synfutures a long time ago, so I was expecting myself to be eligible for airdrop but I wasn't — It was peanut amount, and a single trade, so not surprised with ineligibility but nonetheless expectation was there.

      -      I just found out about synfutures that you're talking about mate, but I looked into it today and I saw that it just finished its season 1 airdrops and there's still a season 2 though there's no certain date yet for when it will start and I'd like to join this season 2.

This is the link I found about this matter https://medium.com/synfutures/synfutures-f-airdrop-5a849c464ffb and also its dex platform seems to be okay in my opinion, so I might deposit a small amount and stake F which might be eligible in the near future for their season 2 airdrops https://synfutures.foundation/airdrop/#/airdrop
