Title: trends
Post by: bitterguy28 on December 07, 2024, 06:25:35 PM
how important are trends? and i mean the ones we see on social media that most kids like the ones that are usually fleeting do you think that these viral trends have a bearing in audiences and therefore must be considered by business owners

some business owners like to run an earnest and true to their purpose kind of business meanwhile some would jump on any opportunity to promote even if it meant joining a ridiculous trend

so what do you think? are following trends really important when running a business?

I don't want to talk about the viral social media trend in particular but in general the trend matters a lot and the classic example for that is Nokia and how it went deep down from the market leader when they didn't switch to the evolving technology.

Every opportunity to reach audience is great and that's become cheaper with the social media influencers compared to advertising via channels.

Trends are important because they help businesses attract more customers. Some trends are temporary, so it's key to pick the ones that align with your brand. You can use trends to boost visibility without losing focus and incorporate them into your products or services to gain an edge over competitors while staying true to what your business is really about.

In business, you have to stay dynamic, but not too dynamic that you lose the core values that your business hold. Most successful businesses have been able to master this act which is remaining trendy so that their customers remain interested in doing business with them. Following the trend does not mean you should change your business with every trend, just you should keep things interesting.

Sometimes it matters to maximise both sales and profits however some other times it may not and this actually depends on a couple of things like what ecosystem you are in and how or if that particular trend relates directly to it. Sometimes there isn't much you could do about the trend if it's not related to your ecosystem. Imagine you own a tool shop during a dance trend, they seem to not be connected at all.

However comparing it to someone who sells a couple clothes and bags, and probably shoes too. He could easily stock up with materials of that trend to make decent profit.

the AI trends seem to be real. the tokens are growing high. but the old trends still up. social media memecoin  trends was up even in the last bull market and it picked is its track again this 2024. its the Defi trend that was left behind. trend and narrative is almost the same like?

the trends they mean in trading is different. its where the market direction which i guess is what your friend should be. just as they say the trend is your friend.
