Before when I used to search for this forum on Google, it would index bitcointalk rather. While now, when you search altcoinstalks, you find this forum only along with it's other relevant links.
This is something I noticed and wanted to share.

Edit:
Lol, I figured it out, I used to make typo with the forum name and Google would suggest Bitcointalk, look at this image, and it still does.

I don't know, but this forum has shown at the top of my Google page ever since if I use "altcoinstalk" or even "altcointalk" without the "s". Where if you search "altcoin forum" bitcointalk is always at the top.

This is not possible. Bitcointalk and Altcoinstalks are having a very different names and Google will not kistsken one for another. It is possible that you were typing altcoins forum before that makes Bitcointalk to be at the top just as PX-Z posted.

Your browsing history also has an effect, in this case cookies and Google's system also tend to recommend altcoinstalks.com when you visit it more often with the intent of the keywords you type in the search box..
I just tried it from Google with a new profile (guest), typing altcoinstalks (complete with the letter "s" in the middle and behind) does produce a link to this forum in the number one section, but if without the letter "s", Google still recommends other links ...
This is also progress, because maybe the traffic to this forum has grown so that the SERP algorithm starts to read this forum as the forum intended for related queries.

yeah if you just make a typo and search it without the ‘s’, google will show you links leading you to definitions of an altcoin and other altcoin projects you might be interested in

hopefully but as said these search appearances can be because we have interacted with the forum or something similar that it is now in our history and is being reused but i am pretty confident that if someone who hasn’t searched for this were to search for the right words it will eventually come out so it is still not too bad

Good you figured out that you were previously typing altcoinstalks the wrong way, which is why Google shows you results from bitcointalk instead.
Because for me, since I got on this forum even before 2020, my altcoinstalks Google search have always indexed results from this forum and not from bitcointalk, except times when I type "altcoinstalks" the wrong way, then I end with results from bitcointalk.
I think you should include this note on your initial post, so as to let new visitors and readers know that you figured out you were making a mistake, this will help to counter spam, as without doing this, some users may come around, read the initial post and proceed to post their own comment without reading the replies to find this particular post you corrected yourself with.

This is irrelevant imo.
It should appear in google searches when searching about altcoins, not for "altcoinstalks" which is the domain name.
For example, when searching "which ethereum wallet", or "what is a good altcoins", or whatever, it should appear.
Bitcointalk appears in searches where we search for bitcoin, this is what a strong domain authority means

Google should be able to pick up Altcoinstalks when searched , unless you are talking about words search in the Altcoinstalks domain. In BTT, if I search words or group of words and ends the search with . Bitcointalk, it takes me directly to BTT.
However, I understand OP clearly. The indexing of Altcoinstalks has improved.

Google is now the number one search engine in the world and Google's Ai is powerful and smart enough so it can never show any wrong information. But I don't know why it happened to you. But I have never faced anything like that.
Maybe you searched Bitcointalk a lot and suddenly realized your browser cache when you searched for Altcointalk, which is why you got wrong results. And now Altcoinstalk is getting enough traffic that it is only natural that Google will put it at the top of its search results
-
I have not used this forum in google Search and I know that it will be there. But I use bitcointalk every week in google Search Engine in different things. Sometimes I used it to check threads and others words and users but not in this side. But in this forum I use the forum search bar regularly.

Google search results vary greatly depending on several factors, the most important of which is your cookie data. Therefore, if you are an active user of the forum, results related to the forum will appear first compared to what will appear to everyone who wants to search.
In general, Google search results are not a measure because they can be manipulated, but the forum is witnessing remarkable growth.

You really do have a point though, cookie data really implies too but for real this forum have been getting more popularity and engagement lately, the forum is really promoting just so much as bitcointalk and this is really bringing a lot of attention and support to the community. So much users have been more supportive and active to the forum and bring a lot of positive impact to the community.
But they are some other topics you can search on google and will take you directly to this forum, topics made by users on the forum just as bitcoin talk, this forum has gain more users than some years back and even active users with the help of teleportation most Bitcointalk users have the privilege and less stress by joining this wonderful community.

Well, this could be confirmation of the development of the AltcoinsTalks forum after many years of invisibility on Google. This could be the result of the forum maturity or SEO has been improved and more effective over the years.
Many years ago, many investors also had difficulty finding the AltcoinsTalks forum on Google and I was forced to send the forum link to them. Currently, this has become easier, I would be happier if the topics on AltcoinsTalks were suggested first when users search for information about crypto on Google and many other search engines.

I like to think that plenty users transporting from Bitcointalk might have also helped with visibility.

Yeah, if searched term is relevant to topic existing on this forum, it should definitely be indexed top of list.

I am not sure but aren't we able to search this forum before? Well one thing I am sure of is, whenever I have to seach some topic on BTT I directly name the topic and just write BTT or bitcointalk with it and it opens that topic for me and I can even search the member's profile by typing their usernames and writing BTT.
But this searching was not happening here for ALtcoinstalks, maybe the forum as not indexed due to lesser traffic and now as a whole year passed with continuous traffic and we all know a site can take 1 year at least to get recognized by Google (not talking about indexing) but searching and all that and this is a good sign for the growth of the forum and with time we can directly search anything from Google by just typing ALTT with it.

Unfortunately, altcoinstalks does not have that strong authority in terms google search page results yet. If ever you search about a keyword and that relevant results with at least 4 websites altcoinstalks, this forum will shows in the last (forth) unless you include "altcoinstalks.com" in the search bar.

Altcoinstalks is already indexed in google it just that it's not that high authority enough to shows in the top of the google search page.

This is partially due to the weak SEO strategy of the forum, as well as the lack of unique and high-quality content. Most of the topics discussed here have already been discussed in other places, so it is very rarely quoted somewhere with altcoinstalks, which is one of the most important conditions for good positioning on search engines.
-
The more we keep having increasing use case and forum activities from here, with referrals linking to google till they have it listed on their search for people to have it as an available option, now we can see how we have been going more better than before, what you cannot easily accessed from here is now made being possible, the more we go the bigger the forum becomes.

I have also mentioned several times the lack of SEO basic techniques in forum pages.
For example, json-ld schemes which are completely missing

You can test here

Yes, these are some parameters that certainly help adjust the content according to search engine scrapers, but what I already emphasized earlier is the key. Quality and useful content, which will be shared as a source of some important information or analysis, is the key.
For example, it is of great help that some managers and ANN creators have started to share the link on Btt to ANN from here on this forum. It helps, although it's not ideal since most of the content is shared identically. SE will certainly give priority to the site with a stronger domain rating.

In the case of mixers, which can`t have an ANN with links on Btt anymore, it is good to have links here, even though the authority of altcoinstalks is still very low.
As mixers aren`t mentioned in news websites, portals, neither sponsored content in search engines/social media, it is key to have some presence here. especially for SEO.
Altcoinstalks seo could be better, but it is not an easy task...

Through some discussions here, I saw that mixers are presented on other forums. However, all of these sites seem to me to be on the verge of being blackhat, so it doesn't even suit them to be visible to search engines. Perhaps Altcoinstalks is also in that direction :(

I think altcoinstalks.com is not being very present in search engines mostly for technical issues, not only content related problems.

Altcoinstalks.com rules the keyword altcoin talks, but bitcointalk still rules the altcoins forum keyword, and altcoinstalks.com is on the second spot, but with the recent burst of activity here in altcoinstalks, it is possible that altcointalks will get into the number one spot.
Right now, altcoinstalks keywords belongs to altcoinstalks.com and it will remain that way as long as the forum has a lot of activity.

No doubt about that, bitcointalk is superior in many ways in terms of domain and page authority compared to any existing crypto currency forums. The age of the domain is one of the major factors, plus the quality of posts/content. But with the continuos posts here, i guess this forum will eventually go to the top for altcoins related keywords.

We know that the Google team is constantly working to ensure that the search engine produces the best results, using various filters that act as a shadow ban. The list of reasons is very long, but one of them is spam and plagiarism, and I admit that there has been less of it lately, which has led the forum to get out from under the filter.
The large number of search queries that I see in the footer of this forum can also negatively affect the output.
-

I'm not sure that posts about altcoins dominate here.
It would be ideal if some more significant projects that also have a wide community base would appear here.
I'm not saying that there isn't any at all, but there is still a lack of quality and unique content on this forum.

Google knows this forum exists, yes, but they don't know enough about it. The evidence is clear, after performing a search with “ethereum+forum”, this forum appears in Google in position 28, while performing the same search in DuckDuckGo the forum appears in position 12. After reviewing the first 4 pages of results displayed on Bing, I have not found the forum. I have not tried the same words with other search engines, only the 3 that I mentioned.
The most surprising thing is that some websites and forums with no traffic and only a few hundred spam posts appear above this forum in the search.

The entire topic is unnecessary. If my domain name is fuckyougoogle.com and if anyone search with fuckyougoogle then obviously my domain will be shown first.

The domain name has no decisive importance for positioning on the search engine. Certainly not like the <H> tags and of course the content.
As for adding "talk" to the domain, it's a bit of a strange phenomenon, since I've seen it most often in crypto-related forums. I guess it was inspired by the success of the bitcointalk forum, so many tried to do something similar. As far as I know, only altcoinstalks and no other CT (I think that's the name of the Yobit forum.) are active.

Point being — before when I used to search the name of this forum, this forum wouldn't result in search pages at all and rather Bitcointalk links would show up, which was absurd.
It later dawned on me that I used to make a typo (as edited in op) but not that big typo to completely change the search results to altogether different forum.

I think that's part of the main reason why altcoins talks doesn't pop up as frequent at the top compared to Bitcointalk. I can remember I will be quite a long time ago when I was still into HTML and CSS more . You find out that when using search engines keywords matter a lot and altcoins talks when compared to Bitcointalk doesn't have keywords strong enough to pop up at the top.
You're a couple of keywords that you would probably type on Google or other search engines and find out that altcoins talks comes up as the top 3 results. It's more of target keywords when working with search engines.
