Title: BTC Holds Strong as Altcoins Display Mixed Trends
Post by: Interpol on December 09, 2024, 11:05:09 AM
Lately, BTC has been holding strong, oscillating at high levels and showing resilience despite market fluctuations. On the other hand, altcoins have been a mixed bag—some showing impressive gains, while others seem to be struggling to find direction.

It’s an interesting time, as BTC’s dominance might be a sign of stability, but the altcoin market is still full of opportunities for those willing to dig deeper. Personally, I’m keeping an eye on how this dynamic plays out.

What’s your strategy in moments like these—sticking with BTC or exploring promising altcoins?

Of course Bitcoin has always been ahead of the Altcoins and  has a tendency to predict future market price though not easily predictable just as obvious as every 4 years market circles users are sure of a bull-run.

I don't know if there's an Altcoin season and so doing, Investors scampers away as they would not want o invest of shit coins or less potentials coins.

There are actually Altcoins that has leaned of tapping their market values on Bitcoin that is why when Bitcoin prices has effects on some coins like the Ethereum a d some other good coins that takes chances to grow in values accordingly by Bitcoin movements.

looking at the daily chart, the price may be dipping but the momentum is about to shoot again.  all it needs is to wait for it to happen. but i think it will need to fall to 90-94k level. this is just my speculation though, it may happen or it may not but replacements always happen before another breakout.

just hold your BTC if you want or sell it now and wait for the price to dip. or sell your altcoins for USDT and buy back when 95k happens. this is the strategy.

To make it more simple by avoiding complications, we can assume this time for bitcoin season while the altcoins seasons may also be warming up to come, forget about few of them now showing ability to rise along together with bitcoin, the moment the value of bitcoin market price drops, others follows in their numbers as well, maybe we should be more patient till that time comes, where all other coins will both perform well and be in season.

I am taking extra holding on altcoins but only a few promising altcoins will make my list this time, now that the altcoins market is down this is a good time to bag up more of those shitcoins that have powers to get pumped and gambleon them trying out my luck this time.

I am putting up an amount I can afford to lose and still be comfortable with on the long run.

Bitcoin, all the way! We are now living in an amazing time for the whole cryptocurrency industry with Bitcoin leading the way and the very symbol of bullishness and with some popular alts also showing their prowess. As for me, I am sticking to what I have already since am already out of funds to buy more. Now, for people who are still looking for good opportunities in time for 2025's explosive bull run, there are some good alts for consideration.

Maybe the price of BTC is quite high, although there is still a possibility of an increase, but at this time I would rather enter altcoins where altcoins are still moving, the possibility of an increase is still very possible, so I would rather explore promising altcoins and save my BTC until a new ATH

Bitcoin is in its season and therefore, what else do we expect, this is the time we have to be more positive and also position along the pattern its taking, we are continuing with the bullrun and the market is more favourable on its investors those who have invested before now and those trading it, everyone is having the same benefits of the season as we are making all time high and a profitable investment with bitcoin.

Most of the coins that are moving in the direction of bitcoin are possibly altcoins that will make some impressive gains only this moment and may not have any effect later on at the time of the bull market run. The struggling of other altcoins that are not following in the direction of bitcoin are those that are loved to be traded by traders as their movement are not controlled by bitcoin which is actually a pain in the neck for some traders. Altcoins that are yet to make their big moves this season will only be having that much big gains in the alt season more in my opinion.

For now, sticking to BTC will be the best idea because the market is still very much in favour of the bulls. If there is not a significant retracement back to less than 80K, I don’t see bitcoin going to the bearish trend now. So I’d rather stick to bitcoin now and when the money starts moving out of bitcoin to other altcoins, we can now begin to focus more on potential altcoins that will do well in the alt seasons which will be coming soon.

I think that you could be created an excellent topic and comment in your post. Because i believe that BTC and altcoin is also the best profitable position in cryptocurrency market. We also know that bitcoin price is very better then altcoin. I also believe that gradually altcoin price is increase gradually in cryptocurrency market. Because we know that if bitcoin price will increase, then we could understand easily altcoin price also increase in cryptocurrency market in this way.

          -      There are more opportunities to make a profit in altcoins, these are facts. And the majority of the crypto community prefers to invest in cryptocurrencies compared to Bitcoin. Given that bitcoin is a given, don't expect at its current price that you will make a huge profit from it.

I still believe that you can make a huge profit in bitcoin if you are like Microstrategy, but if you are not like him, really don't expect high income for bitcoin holdings.

Nice attempt, once we can make bitcoin to be the major constitute of our investment and holding, then adding a few number of altcoins cannot be a threat to us once we make the right selection from them, the only challenge here is that some investors or let me say newbies may not know on how to filter for selecting between some of these altcoins from shitcoins.

Bitcoin dominance is currently around 55.6%, testing a huge support zone. If it bounces to a higher level of dominance, we might see a continuation of the price increase. However, if the dominance is reduced, altcoins might experience a surge in their value.

Let's see what next year has for us, as everyone is predicting a bullish year for many crypto investors will see many gains in their portfolios.

Let's see what next year has for us, as everyone is predicting a bullish year for many crypto investors will see many gains in their portfolios.
And many people expect that Altcoin Season will arrive soon, but this is still the beginning.
With the decline in bitcoin dominance and the price of bitcoin stabilizing above $100k, this will be an indication that the crypto market is rising and altcoins are recovering their prices until they reach a new ATH.
Everyone is getting ready with their bags, including me who has been waiting for this moment for a long time.

Our strategy should be to invest in both one part should be in BTC and the other part should be in altcoins and we must keep exploring new altcoins to invest for short and for long term according to our capital. We must make a list of potential coins that can give us good profits when there will be a dip.

The list will help us remember in the dip which coin to pick and further analysis of which coin can give more profit will narrow down our list. Altcoin market is already pumping but there are narratives which have not made significant move yet.

The crypto market is continuously undergoing change and that gives us many opportunities to seize any moment of its growth. However, it can be assumed that when the position of Bitcoin decreases, and its rate remains high, altcoins should begin to reveal the best of themselves. As in many other situations, it is important to have well-defined vision and excellent preparation so that we can seize any favourable signs that emerge in the market.

Our strategy should be to invest in both one part should be in BTC and the other part should be in altcoins and we must keep exploring new altcoins to invest for short and for long term according to our capital. Taking over your portfolio with a blend of bitcoin and some possible altcoins is a step that can enable us to gain from the opportunities available in the market. It is therefore strategic to make a list of promising coins when prices are low since we can then be more pointed in our decisions while conditions agree. Substantial, intensive analysis would then be used to identify those assets that could yield the most profit to the business. Even as the market for altcoins is finally stirring, more time and attention are still needed for our plan to work properly.

Exactly. That is why it is the best way to have mix holdings like 50% in Bitcoin and 50% in Altcoins depending on your priority because we don't really know the future of these assets and we all know that one or the other follows everytime the market moves so either way we make gains because we have both investments unless your a solid Bitcoin hodler.

One of the secrets of making life changing wealth in or from crypto is to diversify.
Diversification is an important tool to generating good income from crypto investments, so for me, if I am already invested in bitcoin when the market is in a situation as you said, what I did do is start researching and exploring Altcoins with great potentials, I will be investing in them little by little.

Altcoin investment may carry a degree of risk, but then at the end, the reward is most times worth the risk, but this is for those who are lucky enough to pick the right Altcoin though.

Bitcoin, of course, has no doubt the largest percentage among other alt coins. Moreover, if we have invested in Bitcoin since the last bearish period, then just try to calculate how many percent the increase has been. and what is more important is that Bitcoin is the most trusted and has the potential to always rise in every bullish era, because on the other hand, altcoins often follow Bitcoin's usual movements. Meanwhile, investing in alt coins will depend on what coin we choose. Sometimes we prefer top coins because they are solid and consistent. However, we also have to continue to monitor the development of these top altcoins.

Meanwhile, when we choose a hype coin for new coins, I think it might not be for the lobg term, but rather for the sort term to optimize the opportunity to make a profit. because usually they are very quick to go up when they are just listed on certain exchanges. But still be careful with coins like this. because the risk is so high compared to other altcoins, especially Bitcoin. That's why once again diversifying our capital to invest in crypto is quite wise. and you still have to think about what coins really have the potential to rise to the next bullish peak.

some people do not want to invest in top altcoins anymore because they already have high value with little growth compared to altcoins that they can buy for less than a dollar and eventually may hit a dollar where of course they will get more profits that way an example of this is ethereum for example it’s a pretty safe choice but probably not something you’ll buy if you want huge returns right away

if you already have a pretty good holding in bitcoin or any other top coins, i think you can already let yourself find other memecoins/hypecoins just to take a few risks

this roughly reflects Bitcoins market share to altcoins, 50/50. On the other hand I believe it is not a true reflection of the over powering sentiment which is higher for Bitcoin and this will manifest itself next year I think. Bitcoin will be favoured more by institutional investors. Personally I am not afraid of missing a rise in altcoins and hold about 80% Bitcoin.

If we talk now, of course, the price of Bitcoin is still very high and this is the ATH that many people have been waiting for.
I even have a target of $100k to sell, partially for the profit I get.

Now it is only necessary to wait whether Bitcoin will continue when entering 2025 or will experience a sideways for quite a long time which then gives greater opportunities for altcoins to recover faster and longer, because the altseason is still not optimal and this is still very early.
