Title: XRP and LTM on Coinbase
Post by: PatherIII on December 13, 2024, 12:25:29 AM
Hi. Couple years ago I moved coins from Coinbase to Coinbase Wallet. Just realized that XLM and XRP did not move. Yes, I rarely look at my coins. Wondering where they went, if anywhere, and how I can get them into a wallet that accepts them. Went to Coinbase transaction history for the day I moved my coins. XLM and XRP are listed with different numbers associated with each of them. All the other coins are in the Coinbase Wallet and all have the same number, different than the XLM and XRP numbers. I assume that that number is for the Coinbase Wallet. I also assume that the numbers associated with XLM and XRP are the numbers I use to move them to an acceptable wallet. How do I do this? Any advice on which wallet to transfer them to? Thank you!!

As far as I can see today, CW supports "Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Dogecoin, and all Ethereum-compatible networks", but I can't know what the situation was like when you made the transactions.

If you still see that you have these coins in your online account, then it is best to look at their official sites to find out which wallets support them. I've provided you with links where you can get to the official links, there's a lot of phishing and it wouldn't be pleasant if after so much time you downloaded a fake wallet and lost those coins.

What do you mean by the numbers? Are you talking about the address or the amount of funds transferred or anything else.

I haven't used coinbase for very long time even before they started having coinbase wallet as separate thing from the exchange so I went to check their official website where also not all the coins were listed so you just login to your exchange and type where you can see it's available or not.

About moving the coins, it's simple just copy the address from exchange or where you want to move them and paste where you have the coins and hit the send button.

Thank you!! Sorry for the delay in my response but I’ve been having some medical issues. I think the numbers are the addresses the coins were sent to if that makes any sense. All the other coins have the same number and went to Coinbase Wallet. I do not find XLM or XRP in my Coinbase Wallet listings. I do find all the other coins I sent. The only place I see XLM and XRP is in the transaction section of Coinbase showing that they were sent. The numbers I mention are listed there next to XLM and XRP.
