When we look on how we started and where we are now, we could see that it has only been by grace that has led us this far, there have been countless numbers of achievement which we have made through the cause of the year, some we could remember while some we couldn't remember at all, but it has all in one way or the other contributed to what we have become now, its worth recalling about and lets wish more of success in the coming year, we can still do better and achieve more bigger.

I can't say I've not come across this word this year or used it. So I can agree with the Cambridge Dictionary that the world manifest is the word of the year. Manifestation, from my own understanding, is the same as exercising faith as described in the Christian Bible.

Manisfestation works if you can set your heart to it. I have manifested a better life than the one I had before, and I am living it.

The word Manifest taken as the word of the year by Cambridge dictionary has its fulfillment in probably every section that got their aimed results. This all depends on the perspective at which it is viewed as an organization, country or industry, cause it might not really hit on every human personal life.
The Cambridge academic performance or improved rating on students over the world could have a manifestation on them for taking the word.
The political section of the world has their own manifestation relating to the US election to either their favour or displeasure.
It continues to the religious beliefs of people and countries around the world.
Technology itself has its own manifestation in the world amongst they that are technically inclined or driven. The technological growth and development took a shift to a higher height.
The crypto industry also has a breakthrough for the long awaited and predicted price mark of $100k, which manifested this same year.

So, if everything is critically looked checked, the Cambridge dictionary taking manifest as a word for the year isn't too wrong, though, this word might not really get to everyone personally.

For me, what I expected wasn't really what I got, and that's painful. The most important thing in it all is getting to the end of the year, and by grace to see a new year coming.

I didn't know that, on what criteria do they determine the word of the year, i can't say i have see this word being used more than normal this year. I know now that the year is coming to an end, many people are going to set new year resolutions and i hope for their sake that they can achieve that.

It's simply the number of times a word is searched on their website if I understood it correctly[1]. They mentioned the main reason why "manifest" is suddenly popular is because of social media, the Olympics, a popular artist using this word in their concert, and so on. I guess it makes sense that for the average joe it doesn't seem real. If they include memes or something similar I'm pretty sure words like rizz would be more popular. CMIIW.

Thanks for the link, so now i get it, the word manifest was looked up 130,000 times in the Cambridge dictionary this past year, so that is why it is their word of the year. Personally i have not used this word so much this year, but i guess a lot of people are using it on social media and all.

If I cast my mind back from where we started this year, I give God the glory for seeing me to the end of the year because this year didn't see the end of us and our families. That one thing I am grateful for, "for life," because that's what matters. Despite the ups and downs of life, I was able to manifest positivity and a little bit of a breakthrough to excel than expected through the daily hustle I engage in for survival. It's not an easy one though but God's grace keeps seeing us through

Yeah i agree for making manifest the word of the year because we are all manifesting something whether we realize it or not. It could be a dream, a goal, or just good vibes for the future. The word feels so real because we’re all trying to turn our thoughts into reality in one way or another. Simple as that.

Manifest is about victory and a lot was manifested in my life this year with the help of God and this forum. It was a great year for me because I got more knowledge and increased my bitcoin stash. Next year will be double of what I achieved this year by the grace of God. I have made my plans for next year.

Not much, but I've done a lot of research on crypto this year and the information I've published has proven to be true. Honestly this year was not so good for me because i started a business and there were huge losses. Although i had a partnership in my business due to which the amount of my loss was somewhat less. For the next year i would like to express the positive side of crypto that i would like to make a lot of money from.

sorry for your losses mate i too have my own shares of losses though not from a business but i hope for our own sake we both have learned from our past experiences

this year for me was somehow both fulfilling and depressing there were some wins but also some losses so i am hoping that next year continuous and constant growth will be the overall result with minimal losses from now on

i also wish this upon you and for everyone else reading this

what did you manifest this year that came true? and what are you manifesting for next year that you wish to achieve as well?
I didn't know that the word "manifest" is the word of the year.

Anyway, my manifestation at the start of 2024 didn't come true. I manifested as soon as we entered the year (midnight) that I will learn a new skill that would help my freelancing journey. I spent months doing it, but it came to a point where I just said to myself that "I guess adding a new skill isn't for me" hence, I stopped it now and currently focusing on another.

What I manifest for next year? I manifest that what I'm currently focusing on will be a success for me and for my future.

This year, I've experienced countless manifestations, and I'm grateful for each new day. Simply waking up every morning is a blessing, and I give thanks to God Almighty for this gift. Having my needs met throughout the year is also a manifestation of divine provision. Every day, I've had food on the table, and that's a blessing worth acknowledging.

Beyond these basic necessities, many of my desires have become a reality this year. However, I'm hopeful that the upcoming year will bring even greater blessings and manifestations. I'm looking forward to experiencing more of God's goodness and provision in my life.

No one can encourage us as we can do to our self, we have to discover on some aspect of live in which we have improved from and also consider the little lapses we had at the cause of the year and make amends, try to fix in some of the mistakes we made and remember of the great and remarkable events and achievements of the year which we have been through, from all these, we should be able to find a meaningful interpretation and the right world we can use for the year.

Well for you, you've chosen manifest as your word for the year but I don't see mine as that besides I didn't hear that much this year. In my country the word for the year is don't relent and it really suits the situation of the economy and I believe this slogan also motivated alot of people. So that's the word of the year for me.

The word "manifest" should attributed to positive vibes and outlook, not the bad one you think.

What you manifest is what comes back at you because that's what your mind longs for. Everyone should dish out positive energy and thoughts others should imitate, and it will be of help to them. That's what this year should be all about since the Cambridge Dictionary has given this year's name, to be a year of manifest. You manifest a good character and approach, not a bad character others would reject.

If every one of us should begin to manifest good tidings about ourselves, I am sure this world will be a better place for everyone to live in peace and harmony plus riches

I don't know if it is that easy though, i agree that positive affirmations are great, they can lift ones spirit and get them in the mood to go out, work hard and achieve what they want. However, only it is not enough, it must be backed up with action, but it is a good way to start.
