Title: Depin coins that can mine with Raspberry or any related DIY device?
Post by: BitMaxz on December 13, 2024, 04:40:07 PM
Is there someone here knows more about Depin coins?
I am looking for depin coins similar to HNT where you can mine this coin through Raspberry as your hotspot. In the past, you could mine HNT using raspberry pi with lorawan Pihat Kit for receiving signal and antenna.

But these days raspberry pi is no longer supported based on what I heard.

Anyway, I am looking for a similar coin or Depin coin where we can use raspberry pi to use on mining Depin coins?

All I know that can be mined with low power using Raspberry Pi is Monero or Xmr and then the Duino coin, I just don't know if you know this op.
And from what I know, it doesn't seem like it's that recommendable to do it here.

I'm just asking you op, why is this what you want to do, it seems like it's better to mine Dogecoin than here in my opinion and this is just my opinion op,
that's why I just asked.

Never tried the XMR or Duino coin to mine with Raspi what I want is the project similar to Hellium where you can build your own network miner with your raspberry pi and then add some module for signals any antenna will do just to improve your coverage to increase the possibility to mine and HNT.
Other depins that I know is Chia where you can mine it through hard disk the speed depends on how large your hard disk space.
So right now I am looking for something similar but this time for Raspberry pi where we need to add some modules or an extra board just to mine any coins. I like this one because it doesn't consume much power.

Even though Raspberry Pi is not supported for HNT mining, some new Deepin projects may use Raspberry Pi. Since you are looking for Deepin coins that can be mined using lorawan  networks or other hotspots, there are some new projects that will allow you to mine this way. However, it is important to make sure that those platforms are properly supported and technically ready. It is very important to do research.

Yes, I did some research. As of now, I couldn't find any that looks similar to HNT or any coins that can be mined using Raspberry Pi. I'm sure there is someone here or anyone who knows some depins  coins that can be able to mined with Raspberry Pi that can't easily search through Google maybe it's a private group just like in Hellium where they talk about mining it through raspberry pi privately.
