Title: Remembering 12 key passphrase but not password on Bitcoin wallet
Post by: ambar33n on July 10, 2018, 08:40:53 PM
Hi guys, do you know if there's any way to recover your lost Bitcoins if you have your 12 key passphrase which were automatically generated on your Bitcoin wallet but not the password you set up together with that? Also, I guess it's possible to have a wallet with the 12 key passphrase but with no password, right? Thanks.  ;D ;D ;D

you don't need the password if you have the 12 key passphrase. Simply rebuild your wallet with the seed and you are good to go.

The private key is created by the miner, if you want to change it, maybe you also need to be able to solve the algorithm for the wallet address, and that is very difficult.
