Yes, Bitcoin is progressing steadily, and it appears it won't slow down, which is false. Many people may find themselves stuck holding BTC at its all-time high and will have to wait for the next bull run to see any small gains.
What is the best investment strategy at this moment may vary for each individual, focusing on low-cap altcoins with solid use cases is a good option and is essential for successful investing at this time.
Currently, there are many low-cap cryptocurrencies, but I prefer blockchain projects. This is because I believe projects will be built on them, and their native tokens will be used for gas fees.
VANA is an impressive blockchain project I have discovered. It is a layer 1 blockchain that is EVM compatible, allowing users to turn their data into financial assets by aggregating private datasets for AI model training.
With a circulating supply of around 30M VANA, the project is one to check on.
What do you think about VANA? You can also share your discoveries.

Never heard of it. So many projects came since 2018 that a crypto users can't keep up with the news and new projects anymore. For us who are just here in forums wil not be able to read news about projects launched outside the forums.
Now that you mentioned its L1. The more it will not be easy for it to rise up the rank because it has much competitors. And it needs a lot of developers interested to use the platform. What's it's advantage compare to ETH or SOL?

I have come to notice that people often have this mindset of since bitcoin is pumping, I'm already too late to invest and the best and most reasonable move to make is to wait for the next pullback or dip when price falls drastically, and this is where procrastination takes the better of them. Almost anytime is the right time to buy bitcoin. It's a matter of how patient you are and how much you are willing to put in too.
Take for example when bitcoin was at $100k Many persons were like let's wait for a pullback before buying and now boom we are already floating at $106k meaning $100k is still an ok time to invest too.

Are you just trying to promote Vana projects? Because that is what it seems like, i don't know anything about Vana project and i am not going to spend time trying to know more about it because i would not spend money on it. I don't believe it is time to switch to altcoins, i never do, but if you are at altcoin investor, you can spend some money on some of them, you may just be lucky.

It is not the first blockchain to deal with human data and the most prominent cryptocurrency in this field is filecoin which has not seen any interaction.
Looking at the data below:
Binance Launchpool Allocation of 4.00% of max supply is a very large supply.
The supply will start at 25.07% of max token supply and quickly increase to 93.87% of max token supply which means that it is difficult for the price to continue to grow due to the supply growth and the price curve will be bearish after listing.
The fees are not mentioned which is a crucial factor in such blockchains.

VANA is more about AI and human data. It is also EVM-compatible. It might not be as great as Ethereum, but it won't be a bad investment considering it listing across exchanges and it being undervalued

This should be another massive project. I just went through the overview and discovered it has a distributed network which is designed to enable user-owned AI model. We have always wanted a way to authenticate who owns what data, and model and here it is with the help of MIT. This should be another massive plug.

What is new and good that you see in this project? ::) ::) ::) ::) The project starts with 25.07% of max token supply and quickly increase to 93.87% of max token supply which means we will be in a long term corrective trend from the token launch or in simpler words the token will be high in the first days and then any chance of making profits will disappear.

Have you taken your time to study this project? If you have you might forget the total token supply and focus on the future. Although this might not be a project for everyone. I think it is specifically for machine learning and data science experts who will want to commit their project and append it to a Blockchain where it can be verified and authenticated.
This is not a token as per currency but rather a technology that keeps timestamp of who owns a specific machine learning/AI algorithm.

Is this the first project that tackles this technology?
I tried looking it up and found out it's price started so high which rasnof the time of this writing it's now just $12. It's actually impressive that they have this price.
However, there isn't yet anyone I followed in crypto that mentioned this project VANA. If this is going to fly high in the altcoin season, I'd feel bad for now buying again 😭

Is this the first project that tackles this technology?
Definitely Not. As mentioned above, we have at least 5 projects trying to do the same thing in the last few years or so. I can't remember which one but one of them even went as far as being required for an airdrop that I participated in before. To be fair maybe this is one of the first projects who use AI or market themselves as a data ownership platform for AI training if I'm reading their page correctly. Even if they're the first, I'd advise buying them just because of that. DWYOR as always though.

Venturing altcoins isn't a bad move but the question is what is the reason and what is your strategy. Unlike bitcoin that has a very simple strategy for its holders which is basically buying at a relatively lower price and waiting for just enough pump you wish to handle and sell off where you see fit, most altcoins don't work like that.
The biggest problems with trying to take advantage of altcoin investment is picking a strategy that will work out great. The problem is once your strategy fails you have a high chance of running into great loss or losing everything in the case of meme coins.

Yeah, my point basically boils down to not investing or buying a project just because they're the first or they offer something new on the market. If they're the first but the product is terrible, or if their new feature is cool but has low demand on the market then you're buying empty promises. I'd go as far as saying that projects that use the "first" as their only marketing jargon are suspicious. Even if they want to mimic Bitcoin's success, the market needs them to have more than that to survive the bear market.

Even if they are the first and has created a great product, someone out there will still copy this product and will develop further to have better than the first.
The development never ends that's why some of te tokens that have emerged on top are also replaced in the later years. But it's cool to see VANA have it's rise though. For someone reading this, the decision is still in their hands whether they'd shift of not.

altcoins are throw away picks mostly .

Re: Time to switch to Altcoins?
I'll disregard VANA which the OP is shilling because... I don't want to talk about a single altcoin, but I want to say something about altcoins in general.
Is it time to switch and invest into altcoins? If you want to make more profit, then altcoins might be a good choice although let's also take note that NOT all altcoins will pump in price once Ethereum's price go up in price. When will it happen? I don't know, but when it happens, not all coins at the top 100 will pump in price. Some will go up, and some will just stay in sideways movement because there's not that much liquidity for the altcoin to pump in price.

If you are investing in those old existing but successful blockchian coins, it is more less of a risk than investing in new altcoins, even if they are blockchian project but as long as they are new, always invest wisely because it's possible that they can fail too. I know of some blockchian projects in 2022 to 2024, they didn't make any successful, as we speak, the projects even seems dead meanwhile it was just a good projects with good idea but they could not succeed.
For this coin you mentioned, I can not and no body can determine if it will be successful in the future or not, but you have to risk the amount you can afford to lose so that if things doesn't go as expected, you will not feel too bad.

Altcoins should not be seen as yardstick to make much money in this bull run following your assertion of it. The market is very volatile and unpredictable but when we look deeply into how they’ve been performing overtime, one can just see that altcoins are just gamble coins that you’ll chose from, anyone that gets to do well in your favour, you should be lucky. I am beginning to feel that most of this altcoins into top 100 that have reached some good amount of price won’t even do much in this bull run even if they pump in price, the ones that are least expected will be the ones to do more of the magic.

Thanks for the suggestion for going with the low cap coins. But no thanks. I have done my fair share with them and it had been so bad and I just got a lot of losses for myseld for listening to the crowd that has said that. A mistake for me and maybe it is because I have chosen the wrong altcoins, I am not going to invest anymore to random altcoins that have low cap and if I will invest to alts, I will prioritize the top ones because I have made good amount of money on them.
-
This thread made me feel like it's not good to meddle with low-market-cap coins. They're not as volatile, and there's nothing certain about their future. A lot of AI projects seemed good in theory, but are they worth investing in? I think that's the hard part.
There's a time to switch to altcoins, which should be the top ones.
The time OP posted this is around the ATH of VANA. Now it's very low. I don't know if it could still recover.

Price when OP started this topic: $35.
Price now $6.
If you would have fallen for his shilling you would have lost 85% of your wealth wth this shitcoin!

How has switching from BTC to ETH or SOL or ADA worked for last year? ;D
