Title: A new way of airdrop distribution?
Post by: RustyDegen on December 17, 2024, 03:39:07 PM
Exchanges always seem to come up with new products or new ways to earn during a bull run. There is this project FUEL network, they announced a partnership with an exchange for this new product where people can sort of like stake for tokens before launch and I think they can distribute airdrop to eligible users too. I'm still not really sure I fully grab the concept yet, didn't read much into it

Who knows if this new product might become a trend or maybe die out in a few months

Why don't you provide more information about what you are talking about, or are you shilling for this 'Fuel network' project, you also did not mention the name of the exchange you say they partnered with. To be honest, i don't fully understand the purpose of this, looks like shilling to me though.

Fuel Network is Ethereum layer-2 by the FuelVM and is supposed to solve the scalability issue so we see some interest in this project, I thought their choice of eligible users would be more decentralized than partnerships with an exchange, which would be a negative sign for the future of the token. Also, exchanges have started using airdrops to get users to do tasks in exchange for promises of profits.

Haha, sorry the initial writeup wasn't clear enough I didn't read much about it at that time. I wasn't shilling fuel network, was even hoping someone knew more about their partnership at that point haha. I've read more about it now tho, they partnered with BG for this new way of staking for a token that's not launched yet
Fair enough, i can't really tell you more than you know, because i just found out about this project through your post. So from what i understand, it is the exchange that would distribute the tokens to eligible users, that is those who stake their tokens in the exchange, right? Is this a recommended option of token distribution?

I don't see what's new about their method, other than making an exchange partnership I guess. I'm sure those exchanges will airdrop their tokens regardless of whether they have the partnership or not, or else their users will be unhappy with them. Unless you're talking about airdrop that doesn't rely on users' wallets having balances or something similar. Locking tokens in a staking mechanism is not new either, some projects already do that, especially if they're launching a new chain. I don't think this will change the market in a revolutionary way. Fuel network is currently trading at a price of 0.0411, with self moderate marketcap of $147 million. Someone can  buy it at Bitget, MEXC and Kucoin exchange. It has a max supply of 10 billion. I don't see anything special about Fuel Network by the way. Investing in it, it's on one peril. Invest with your spare money

You're not shilling for the fuel network, you're shilling for BG. Why don't you just open a new thread in which you will write about BG, instead of spamming the forums about it like this?
Guerrilla marketing is ok, but you with BG have gone too far.

I don't see anything special about it, and that is the same way i feel about most new altcoin projects, no utility and just hype, with a bunch of shillers or people promoting it only to receive shitcoins in the end or no coins at all. As another user has said, op is shilling for the exchange, i suspected they were shilling, but i thought it was for the project.

As reported by a D.Team member, this thread is created solely with the intention of shilling a certain exchange.

I'm not going to delete the entire thread since there are user posts.

This thread will remain locked from now on.
