I am not sure if this has been discussed before, but I cannot locate it elsewhere.
I attempted to create topic about it but was unable to do so; I think as a DTeam member and moderator, I should be able to create topics on the D Team board. So, my question is, why is there a 100-seconds report restriction for D Team members? I usually open tags on many shit posts and take them all at once, but on this forum, I can't because I have to wait 100 seconds after each report. I simply don't see the point of this feature.
I've been wanting to ask this for a long time now..

Will ask admin to look into it, add it to his list as it were. You're right in both cases D team members should be able to open topics here, and otherwise no need for report restrictions.
Edit: Also split to new topic as was the intended concept.

Reading and reporting shit posts takes less than 20secs, so personally I can report tons of shit posts within few minutes. If our secondary service as DTeam members is to clean the forum so why restrict us. The admin needs to do something about it.
I'm curious do other non members see our posts?

Decentralized Team section is open for everyone, so everyone can see posts here.
As for time restrictions, I agree and I think I asked the same years ago. DTeam members shouldn't have these restrictions as they unlikely will use this option for spamming.
As for opening new topics, I think, there's no need in that. Leaving a report in general topics is more effective, because many moderators follow them and they will find a new topic not as fast.

It might be better to restrict who can access this board to D-Team members to avoid abuse between users or create a negative environment same as mod board. As for the time restriction, there is no need for it or at least impose a 5 second restriction.

When you need to report many similar violations or your explanation of a violation will be longer than in two words you can leave your report in the Decentralized Team topics whenever you are in the DTeam or not. So restricting that doesn't look reasonable.

Free speech is important, there's always going to be issues/concern along the way and members may be forced to open a topic about it. I had this topic for sometime but didn't know which thread on the DTeam board was appropriate.

If non moderators can discuss and see topics on moderator board what's the point of having a dedicated board?
On BTT I belong to a secret board where only Staff and VIP discuss and you can't see such discussions on my post history, it's hidden from non members..

Decentralized Team section is not a moderator section, it is dedicated to reports mainly.

I know that I'm only asking if those reports can be restricted from public. It's only a suggestion

There's no need to restrict this from public, the transparency is healthy here. If mods want a place to chat in private there is the mod section for that.

Report to moderator link under a post can be an option if you want only moderators to see the report. ???

If I am not wrong this restrictions is not only for Dteam members, it's for everyone, they have to wait 100 seconds for every successful report which seems too long in my opinion too. The time limit can be reduced to 20 to 30 seconds max which is good enough to write the valid reason in the comments box while reporting.

Only get triggered after submitting a report, you can spend two hours on the comment it doesn't count.
We don't need no restrictions at all. There's absolutely no point in having one for DTeam members.

That's right, D team is selected members on the forum so they are not likely going to spam the report box so having restrictions for the reduce their effectiveness a lot, I hope admin will consider removing those restrictions at least for the Dteam or can bring the ranks into the picture, higher rank individuals will have no restrictions while newbies have that 100 seconds which serves the purpose of someone abusing it while also give the potential of using the report feature effectively.

In my opinion, every restriction about posting time should be removed after reaching Hero or something like that. If an established member is spamming, he should just be punished, imo.
I often get an error like this "your last post was less than 25 seconds ago", which is an error as I didn't post recently at the time.

Isn't that where the forum senators comes in? Do you guys not have a power to make and amend some rules here. The admin likes to offer some form of democracy and if the forum senators make some suggestions he would gladly listen.

As far as I know we can just vote some stuff, I didn`t see senators proposing yet.
I will make that suggestion! Good idea!
I made the suggestion. I will try to keep people informed.
