Title: What's your take on affiliate programs?
Post by: Jujuboy on December 20, 2024, 10:20:40 PM
Personally, when it comes to affiliate programs, I’ve always needed a bit more convincing before getting involved. However, I tried one out a while ago on a friend’s recommendation, and it turned out to be quite interesting.

The benefits were great — like transaction rebates and other perks. I really miss being part of such programs. What’s your experience with affiliate programs? And do you know of any ongoing affiliate programs?

Yes, affiliate programs are mostly good and contain many benefits and advantages and continuous profits through referrals that come through your link.

I tried in the past to work in some of these programs, but frankly I did not succeed because these programs need strong promotion on social media and convincing people to subscribe to the product, this requires you to have a large number of subscribers to Telegram channels or YouTube or Facebook or X platform, I do not have much activity on these sites so I did not succeed.

you're going to be doing a hell of promotion unless you know how to sell your product. SEO seem dead already because its now social media presence, that's where you are going to compete with the people who are also into affiliate programs.

yeep great opportunity for influencers, you got to be an influencer to make it with affiliate programs. i'm not sure if there are products worth selling related to crypto other than the coin/token itself.

what is OP selling?

I tried a few years ago selling some online courses but never really succeed long term. If you're good at it and you have the resources, then go for it. Unfortunately, some people do not have the skills and the patience to pursue such programs. It is harder than it looks because you also need a good amount of followers/viewers and that's not simple to build.

Affiliate programs even in cryptocurrency industry can be a good way to make money but just like anything this is not for everyone and you need to invest time, effort and even some money to make things work. Not unless you are into many good platforms to promote a program, it would be just a waste of time. Therefore, establish your platforms for promotions first like good presence in social media and yes you can also pay for ads if you are into a lucrative program. Many people are making big money in affiliate marketing but they already developed their own working strategies and effective tactics that come in from years of experience and experiments.

Affiliate program is good... only for those who have huge following on social media.

I mean let's face it. Most of the YouTube influencers that are into crypto are earning the most amount of their money through referrals since they have a following that supports them. I'm not saying though that only them can make huge money or maximize it, but they're the ones that are benefiting the most. Nowadays, it's hard to convince people to register into your link especially if you aren't that famous unless you can attract them through your success.

I tried doing it as well back in 2017, but like most here, I didn't get any success on it as well.

If you are famous and can refer more people, they may make special deals with you, which means an opportunity to achieve a good and stable income, but you need to create a visual identity about yourself and content with at least thousands of followers for affiliate programs to be profitable.

Affiliate or referral hunting or any that related to this one is really that something which is really that very hard and this isnt something that not all people will be able to do it and thats why you should really be that testing out whether marketing stuff do suits you your skills and your personality on which if you are that not good on inviting people then this kind of career isnt really that for you and its true that you will be needing up some time and effort and some bit budget for you to have that at least some good marketing about on the things that you are advertising for you to get up some referral earnings and other correlated stuffs.

The return from affiliate programs varies according to the impact you create, the number of followers and the generosity of the program, but it is an easy way to make money, but the difficult thing is to remain influential for years so that people continue to believe what you advertise, which is a rare thing, as most influencers lose a large part of their audience over time.

Affiliate marketing is a very good way to earn online. Affiliate marketing requires a source. That means you will need a platform to promote the affiliate product you are offered. Blogs are very popular as affiliate marketing websites. Affiliate platforms give blog websites more priority for product marketing. Moreover, if you have a lot of followers on twitter, facebook, youtube, instagram account then you can easily earn from here.
Even affiliate marketing requires a lot of experience including seo, website maintenance, marketing, economics, content writing, and more. I have tried to learn several times and failed but those who get success from here once will be able to earn a lot of money for long time.

Affiliate programs from any platform are greatly influenced by the power of personal branding... some people who have very strong personal branding, they can easily get customers with their content in the world of digital marketing... various methods ranging from marketing 1.0 to marketing 4.0 will still generate sales, because the personal branding base is already strong.... I really believe that...

I don't have much experience in the affiliate world, because I myself am still building my personal branding in the world of tiktok, instagram, x and facebook... slowly and hopefully it can grow.

Affiliate programs are good, can be a nice autopilot way of making money if you have a huge audience.

I have bought products from YT links a few times just because I liked the review the guy posted. I was going to purchase product anyway, might as well use affiliate link.

An affiliate program is good if you know the products and services and its targeted audience; it is a residual income in a casino affiliate program or other programs where you will get a percentage for every spend by your recruit; you just have to persevere and go to a platform where you are likely to get sign-ups.
Clickbank, Amazon Associates, and CJ Affiliate are some of the programs that you can join as an affiliate networker; they even have tutorials on how to become an affiliate.

And do you know of any ongoing affiliate programs?
Betfury has an affiliate program; you can check for it on their platform at Betfury.com. I know people who have been beneficiaries of affiliate programs and affiliate marketing for companies; It can be something that will be profitable for you if you really focus on it, and I think you should not take it for granted or pay less attention to it because others around you are focusing on something else.
