Title: Question about Exchange Token board
Post by: God Of Thunder on December 26, 2024, 09:41:20 AM
I could have asked this question in chat. If the admin is planning to close this board or any other issue, this thread could become informative. I wanted to create a thread in the Exchange Tokens (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?board=360.0) board, but I realized there is no option to create a new thread. Either this could be a bug, or I am restricted, or maybe the admin decided not to accept new threads, or this board will be closed in the future. There are too many possibilities. So, I would ask if any member has the ability to create a new thread in that board, or maybe it is something official from the administration.

I just toggled over to the board and I noticed you can't create a new thread but you can actually reply to existing threads at least. Well if you observe the board closely you will find out that all the existing threads there were created by a few users and almost all of them on the first page were created by KuCoin Unofficial and I think it's possible you have to first contact admin before you can post there.

Also, judging from the message at the top of the board it's like you need to be officially announcing an exchange before you can post there.

I also did glance through the thread you are right, trying to make a post there you will definitely ask the admin for request and he needs to know about what you are trying to bring to the thread.
The board is restricted from many members only some members are eligible to participate there.

I can see at thread that most post are made by upper ranks users so I guess it have why it lock for other users are stoped from posting there.

I can confirm this, I can still create topics on inactive boards like EOS Forum, Once Popular Coins (Graveyard) Terra LUNA Forum, while Exchange Tokens is more active than these boards.

I bet @admin should reconsider this board to open for new thread posting instead of the other boards. Its more like the threads from Exchange Tokens were just reported and moved.

I wanted to create a thread about Bitget Token BGB and Bitget wallet token BWB which should belong to exchange tokens. Did any of you notice the recent price surge of BGB and BWB? BGB surged from $1.3 all the way to $7 in just the last 30 days which is impressive. Bitget Decided to merge BGB and BWB and the maximum supply of BGB will remain unchanged. This means the total market cap of BWB (which is 80 million) will be merged with BGB which cause a further price surge. I bought only 150 BGB four months ago which was around $200 at that time. I sold 70 BGB for $400 and still holding $500 worth of BGB now.

It's not a bug, nor are you restricted, I suppose, because I am also seeing the same thing as you, I think the admin has restricted everyone from creating topics there either on purpose or by mistake. I think he did it by mistake because on purpose I don't see any. It's surely from the administration.
Also, judging from the message at the top of the board it's like you need to be officially announcing an exchange before you can post there.
But all of the boards there were not started by any of the exchanges even Kucoin added unofficial with it's username indicating it is not real.

I noticed the surge in BGB tokens I was really shocked to see the pump when it was under $2 one of the crypto groups people predicted it can reach $10 but and it is more than a half way there. I am happy that you made good profit from BGB what are your views about this token you expect more pump in BGB or that's it.

Until admin don't open the thread you can prefer Cryptocurrency Discussion board to make this thread that is most suitable.

This is what will you get for being an early bird, that's a good profit already from such low buys earlier, how much more if you hold more. Congrats.

I seconded, and just report the thread to move it on the proper board later on.

Ok, thank you guys for sharing your opinion. Most importantly, I was interested to know if it was only me or if it was for everyone. Now, I have confirmed that it's not only me who cannot open a new thread in that section. Since I got the answer and some suggestions about it already, I believe the thread served its purpose and should be locked now. I will lock this thread after posting this; thanks to everyone.

There is no good reason why that board should be locked for opening new topics, at least based on the content already there, therefore moving thread to bugs and directing admin towards it. I think this might be occurred after merging and moving of various sub-sections, thus leading to this restriction in error, but who knows.

Ok. Thank you for your service  :D :D
I thought it was intentional or I was restricted from that for some reason. But later found out that it's not only me, but no one can create new threads there. Also, I was wondering how this thread got unlocked because I remember I locked the topic. Thanks dragononcrypto for moving the threads to the right board and thanks to the admin for fixing the issues. The thread will be locked again.

I don't think anyone unlocked it, however admin and global mods can post in locked topics  :)
