Drug abuse which has to do with the illicit use of drugs is a trend among youths and teenagers. It's common to see people take drugs like codine, refno  and Tramadol unprescribed.

I think the main cause of drug abuse is frustration, we live in a country where we have a government thatbis not responsible, youths often are unable to attain their goals and as such they engage in all sorts of vices of which drug abuse tops the chat

Drug abuse can stem from various factors, including frustration, stubbornness, and failure to adhere to a doctor's or pharmacist's prescription. Some individuals turn to illicit substances like cocaine, marijuana, and others, believing they offer a calming escape from stress, fatigue, or frustration.

Conversely, others abuse prescription medications by disregarding medical instructions. They may take more or less than the prescribed dose, assuming that deviating from the doctor's orders will yield faster or better results.

Frustration is one of the pivotal points to consider when looking at the causes of drug abuse. Taking a look at the economy we would see that everyone is feeding up, things keep getting hard and expensive, day by day and the only solutions that our leaders can give to us to to be feeding us with false hope of a better Nigeria, which may not even exist.
The citizen experiences  this hardship day by day and those who are faint hearted has even driven into the use of hard drugs like cocaine, marijuana, tramadol etc. The government who are the cause of this citizens frustration, still go ahead to send the Ndlea against this drug user, where is the good in this?  The system has already been corrupted by our leaders, so there is not point justifying their actions .
