We know, there are several blockchains that have been famous since the past until now
Ethereum has a golden age where there are many memecoins present on the ethereum blockchain... besides, many successful ICOs used to start from the contribution of the Ethereum blockchain
BSC, as a blockchain that tends to be centralized, did indeed succeed in the DeFi era, but now many people are starting to leave BSC
In addition, there is SOLANA which can now be considered as a more perfect blockchain, its growth is also very rapid... Solana blockchain is famous for its very low transaction fees, so it can attract many people to join its ecosystem.
Then there is TON Blockchain, which is also popular because it focuses on scalability and seamless cross chain... yes they focus on fast transaction speed, so they can process many transactions at once.

of course the type of blockchain determines how the project operates or functions some blockchain have greater strengths than the other moreover the type of blockchain allows for popularity to increase if that blockchain is already well known
Which blockchain is ideal in your opinion?
to me it depends for each project it may also depend on the user some might highlight speed more some decentralization while some would look for volume or popularity of the blockchain the most important to me is that the blockchain is secure
