Back when I was in college there was some function and motivational speaker had come to give speech. It's been years so I don't remember much anymore but one thing I remember was I enjoyed speech and was clapping hard at the end.
I mean I ain't sure if I'll enjoy same today, as I tend to find any kind of motivational jargon BS these days but back then I did enjoy.

Unfortunately I have not had the opportunity to meet any presidents, motivational speakers, organization leaders, or any prominent athlete or celebrity, these things are kind of difficult where I live.
But there was a good old man I knew for many years (he is dead now) but I loved him and his talk motivated me a lot and gave me strength and hope, he is not an important or famous man but he had a good way of speaking and a lot of good experiences and he gave positive energy to everyone he met.

that is understandable because you were young and probably felt a huge impact by that speech now you are older and you have learned more that maybe you are not as easily impressed by people like this still like you said you enjoyed it and you remember it so it was still influenced in a way

I have only met a celebrity in a show that I went. His name is D.Banj. I snapped him with my phone and he gave a speech before performing on stage. I hooe to see my state Governor in future to come, because I have something big coming up.

Well, many might disagree with the most influential person I meet, but it is the president. Although I never had the chance to talk to them, I just heard them making speeches, it was on National Athletic Meet. (Palarong Pambansa).

I Haven't met with these kinds of top level VIP person like te presidents and the motivational speakers or the organizational leaders but I have follow top level influencers like businessmans to trader or the founder like Satooshi.
And also have seen some person in real life that they start and give their best effort and continue and continue and after few your later they were the successful person in our friend circle. I just swan their success journey on my own eyes and after I believe that it doesn't matter in any sector if you put your best effort and continue that then you will be successful.

I have encountered many motivational speakers in seminars and conferences, spiritual heads, and businessmen/captains of industries, I have read books as much as I can but I so much love engaging with elderly men although they are not famous they speak wisdom, experience and their advice/encouragement are strong enough to keep one on their feet. I always look for a balance in the meetings with the big, mighty, and famous in society and the elderly because an encounter with them remedies situations and solutions to vital life experiences, and also virtue drawn could apply to challenges one faces in the course of life journey and engagements.

That would be Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, the former president of Nigeria. When he visited my school for a convocation ceremony, I had the honor of meeting him. After the convocation, the school hosted a special dinner for him and other dignitaries, and I was present as the president of my Faculty.
Not only did we have dinner together, but I also had the opportunity to talk to him, and it was then that I realized how smart and modest he is. He was very comfortable talking to me. He did not even hesitate when I asked for a picture.

The most influential people I've ever met were the ones that have something to offer me when it comes to learning, i see them as a figure of dispensation of knowledge, because there is more to catch being with them or around them, because i find learning made easy having an opportunity to come across sharing ideas together and by so doing, am learning what i should know.

Presidents, governors, etc are prominent people, but they cannot be influential to everyone, i.e. the most influential person in my life is my best friend and not any rich or popular individual. The word influential is different from popular or rich.

yes but why would they be prominent or popular if they were not influential? of course it is possible that they do not influence everyone however they are still influential because they are the ones that many people know/look up to/follow and etc
i.e. the most influential person in my life is my best friend and not any rich or popular individual. The word influential is different from popular or rich.
that’s good for you and your best friend

I don't think I've had the opportunity to meet and talk with someone like that. I guess if we count organizations I participated in, maybe one or two? They're not influential like celebrities though, and most meetings are about planning and so on instead of deep personal talk. That being said, I remember watching a president visiting my city when I was small. I didn't want to participate but the school asked us to do it. It's a holiday and it doesn't take a long time so I guess most of my friends happily agreed to do that. We never talked in person but some did interview him in person.

I can't pick a particular person out of all the influential people I've met who are influential in different sectors that they champion, or maybe I have not met someone influential enough for me never to forget them.
In terms of influence, I don't think it should only come from people who we can meet physically; the world is a global village currently, and with the aid of the internet, the most influential person someone can know can be someone that they have never met before.

I see nothing to disagree about you meeting with your president, I mean it’s very possible to meet with or bump into the president in specific occasions, like rallies, conferences and so on, back in my University days, I’ve heard the opportunity to meet with wife of our presiding Governor as of that time, she came to my school to address the students and gave some great speeches too.
And just few years back, I’ve also had the chance to meet with the president too, when he was invited by our presiding governor to inaugurate and commission a project in my state, but I couldn’t make it there because I had some personal business to attend to and I couldn’t leave it just to go see what the president looks like in person.

I've never met a motivational speaker, nor have I attended events featuring industry organizers or celebrities. While I do know local celebrities from my community, I don't focus on them as I have more important priorities that will benefit me in the long run. I do have a wish, though I wish to meet high profile individuals like presidents, governors, or renowned motivational speakers. Honestly, I'm eager to meet them, especially the motivational speakers I admire. Meeting a president or high ranking officials would be nice, but meeting my favorite motivational speakers would be truly delightful.

I can't say about the most influential person but economists who influenced to me have a mindset of investor, he is a successful investor and rich had chance to meet in an event which was arranged by himself to educate the upcoming generation to guide properly. He also made me to realize where we need to spend our money and where we shouldn't and still day I am following most of his suggestions.

Lately I figure, motivational speakers are often just good at words and hence it appeases public's ears but they are not people to be followed.
Motivational speakers make money by so called motivating others (through social medias, or going to events) but they do nothing worthy to you to except may be giving momentary burst of motivation.
Follow the people who are already at place you want to be.

I may not have had the opportunity to meet any top leaders directly, but I always try to heed some of the inspiring words that come from many top leaders. Just like obstacles can come in our way life cannot be stopped. So we have to start again from where the obstacles come. I will divide the money I earn in 3 ways, one part I will spend on my family, the second part I will save for emergencies and the third part I will save for long term that I will never spend.

it would make sense to take inspiration from top leaders especially if we like the way they run things around and live their lives by certain principles even if you do not want to be a leader yourself, they can be inspirational at times

well where will you be using the money you saved for long term? by not spending it you are just wasting it i hope you are saying that you will hold it in bitcoin or maybe other assets hence why you would not spend it but even then never is a definitive word
never spending your money will benefit no one you should spend your money but only at the right time

...never spending your money will benefit no one you should spend your money but only at the right time
I used to pretty miserly with money but then after a while, I had little motivations to bother with earning opportunities. So then I learned to spend it, and now I like to earn money, lol.

If being in a convension and hearing them talk without having personal intervention and conversation then I have met a lot of politicians of our country OP. As well as actors from different networks. Only a few of them that I have talked to personally but if that happens, it only happened for some minutes and it was just a casual hi and hello.

Yeah, I get what you're saying. Motivational speakers are great at talking and making people feel inspired for a while, but in the end, it’s up to us to take action. Listening to them might give a quick boost, but if we don’t actually do something, nothing changes. It’s better to follow and learn from people who have already achieved what we’re aiming for. That way, we get real lessons instead of just words.
