Title: Decentralised Crypto Forum Crowdfund Campaign
Post by: admin on January 07, 2025, 04:18:26 PM
We have been running the Altcoins Talks forum since 2017
Forums have been replaced by many centralised platforms like facebook, reddit ...
We would like to take back this userbase from these platforms and allow the system to be decentralised

It requires a lot of work, that's why we are raising funds, so we can get things started.

Crowdfund campaign : https://directfund.net/fundraising/project.php?id=17

Bounty:

Amount: 10% of total raised
Distribution: Monthly

How to join: You need to share the crowdfund campaign (via email, private messages, telegram, facebook, blog, etc ...)
The shared post must contain the link to the campaign, but also an image and a description. (Yeah, put some effort)

Proof: Post a screenshot of your action here (you can host the images on imgur.com) or directly the link to your post.

Efficiency:
Donations that take place after your sharing, lead to you having a bigger share of the bounty.
We want to avoid useless spam: thus make sure to have effective sharing, not spammy sharing.

Are there any limits of sharing? Like in a day or throughout the month?
Secondly, if after sharing and the donations target happened not to be attained within the period of duration Does that simply means no payment will be gotten?

no limits , but no spam, sharing should be effective.
can also be an article.

duration can be extended, not an issue

Admin, you've been running the forum since 2007?

That's from before Satoshi created Bitcoin.

Could it be perhaps that the site was a different niche before it pivoted to crypto?

More on-topic:

I don't really understand what we're supposed to do here. So it's just sharing links to the fundraiser so that people can donate?

And then i'll upload my effort video to Youtube channel.

If yes , next a few hours i'll create my video about this campaign crowdfunding and then i'll upload it. Thank you.

Around the same time, there were several (I think, at least 3) contests. The prize distribution may take place after the completion of all contests. Given that it is not a fabulous amount, and the distribution comes from the forum administration, I don't think there will be any unplanned complications.

Thank you admin for this fast response, I think it would be better if after the prize is sent, you also give us the tx id so we can check the prize on chain. Thank you

I agree. It is easier for us to control received payments if we get some message after it is completed.

Because admin may pay and we may take a few days to notice the payment. This happened to me in a giveaway that I won a prize a few weeks ago, which took many weeks/months to be paid and when i received the payment i didn't noticed it.

Use some of the options offered by other services.
For example, on bscscan.com it is possible to set email notifications for each transaction.

@bitmover, there is also a free API, maybe you can create some useful tool and customize it for yourself.

I never use this blockchain... I have some few BNB (like 5 usd) at my wallet just to make some transfers of tokens if necessary....

Not worth setting anything to get notified :)

If anyone receives, just quote us here please!

I have received ALTT tokens from this forum's campaigns.
If you don't see them, you probably need to add the ALTT token contract to your wallet.

I think this link on Pancakeswap can be right: https://pancakeswap.finance/?inputCurrency=0x44193Fc27F2E28FaAc4Fbf76d4d14fcF6A888db4&outputCurrency=0x55d398326f99059fF775485246999027B3197955

FYI :

I sometimes use wallet software to receive erc20 or bep20 tokens, such as Trust wallet and Safepal wallet. There is a slight problem when we get a token that does not yet know its smart contracts or has its smart contracts added, the notification does not appear.
And sometimes the notification is only for native coins such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, Polygon, Polkadot, Solana. And for tokens like erc20, bep20, sometimes the notification does not appear on my smartphone either.

Btw, I just added ALTT tokens with smart contracts that have been embedded in the altcoinstalks forum, and it turns out that 420,000,000 ALTT tokens have been added, I didn't get any notification and I also forgot what event I got the rewards from.

Thanks.

My coins were worth only 7 USD after just 3 days. I had some problem with slippering but I was able to make it work with 2%.

That was nice, I will try to get more of my tokens with points.... how much did you get for your points ?

10$ worth of tokens were sent to you, there were several winners selling, the lp is not that deep that's why even slight selling activity affects it.
usually i add on lp with every big distribution, but for small contests i don't always.

          -      It's still running until now? I plan to share it on my Facebook, and my youtube channel and also on telegram because I have a crypto community that I'm building. I would like to be part of this crowdfunding by Admin.

So that our community can grow here and learn more about bitcoin or cryptocurrency so that it can also help them and they can also see the potential
of cryptocurrency or bitcoin for people.  I also like to give some donation for this crowdfunding as well, but don't know where to send, maybe next week I will send some donation for this project, thank you.

Do you operate that much x accounts and they're paid ads?
Earlier, among other things, I opened Twitter accounts for some of my clients. Over time, they were either abandoned or given up for various reasons, so they stayed in my hands. I use them from time to time, although now without a blue badge, the X account is not worth much.

As far as I remember, I took the information from the crowdfunding site.
Right now, it's a bit complicated for me to do it, but first, I'll use my free time to check the accuracy.

no that post is not a scam, as a matter of fact the site directfund was created because it was not possible to raise fund for that family through traditional crowdfund websites that do not cover many developing countries ....

I was talking about the caption of the X account and not the donation website. He posted the link of the ATT donation and pictures of two Syrian war victims asking for donations.

The caption should be Atcointalk donation related no?

you got nothing for february because the number of shares was low, and it was decided that there will not be a giveaway of 50$ when there were less than 3 shares, furthermore the quality of shares is too low, tweeting on accounts with very low reach does not really qualify, and last you already won the month prior and asking about this 2 month afterward.
A giveaway is not an obligation, it is not a bounty or airdrop.

short answer : you will get nothing for that tweet.
